  1. For me... it's a "depends." Kissing is definitely one of the main things on my list, and definitely a high priority in hiring decisions. But if I see an ad of a guy who is SO HOT that he gives me a raging hard on just looking at his pic on a computer, and he says that he'll let me fuck him for $200 but won't kiss. I think I won't pass. For me, hiring is multifactorial. Lots of things are important and get to me... like looks, personality, reliability, horniness, willingness to kiss/bottom, being affectionate, willingness to be adventurous in certain fetishes (bottoming for toys/spanking). If someone is a big plus in every category and just doesn't kiss, it's not enough to kill the deal for me.
  2. They J and T (first name escort >initials) for thoise on the know. These boys are real escorts >and worth every penny that I'll shell out for both of them. >Absolutely incredible boys that I continue to hire time after >time. Hmmm. Why? Why would I do that? Because you can? Hehe. I know you'll have a GREAT time with those two. They are really special. Have a wonderful time (and yes I am jealous)
  3. To both Jesse and KyTop: Thanks for sharing. Both your posts really are the true spirit of this Holiday.
  4. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
  5. Thanks for replying! I was kind of concluding that myself and have begun to sift through some CND brokers.
  6. Hi: Hoping that some of our members own vacation homes in foreign countries and may be able to help with this question... Just wondering if anyone knows US companies that sell homeowners/liability coverage for vacation homes in other countries (specifically Canada) ... or if you must buy this kind of coverage from the country of residence.
  7. >>>But as I watch state after state pass amendments to >their >>constitutions barring either marriage or civil unions >(thank >>you Arizona), I have to come to the conclustion that that >day >>is not today. > >I believe that it was Virginia which overwhelmingly approved a >ban on marriage/civil ceremonies between two men or two women, >and that it was Arizona that overwhelmingly defeated a >similiar amendment. yes, actually this election year, I think Virginia, Sout Carolina, Tennessee, Colorado (home of the outed minister), South Dakota, Wisconsiin, and Idaho joined the ranks of states who have passed bans. I said thank you Arizona because they are the first set of voters who actually defeated such a measure. Previous to this, all rights conferred upon gay couples were granted by courts, not by electorates. My point remains... i don't think we are at the point where we can say that "a majority" of people in our country would embrace a completely non-discriminatory policy towards gays.
  8. >The extreme haters in the gay community hold us back more then >the majority of the population which given the chance would be >supportive. I am not a big fan of outing...and I am not a big fan of hypocrites. But I really don't think I can agree with this statement. I think that in 2006, in the United States anyway (and many other hugely populated countries in the rest of the world), it's clear that though it's a smaller majority than it was before, it is still the majority that is NOT supportive of equal rights for gays. Do I think that someday our country will be enlightened enough to understand that sexual orientation is not the sole way to label and judge a person? I think that may happen someday. But as I watch state after state pass amendments to their constitutions barring either marriage or civil unions (thank you Arizona), I have to come to the conclustion that that day is not today.
  9. Really nice, Stef. Thanks for that.
  10. >Since I'm considering a visit to Moscow, can you tell us who >your guide is, how you like him and how you found him. Thanks >SFTraveler I found lots of info (including apartment information, guide information, etc) on http://www.gay.ru The specific link for guides is: http://www.gay.ru/english/travel/guides/index.htm#msk I hired Victor. He was a good guide in that he made sure I was safe; he was tireless; he showed me all the main bars and clubs; he arranged for tours and sight seeing. He is not a "party animal". so if you are looking for someone who will make sure you are surrounded by boys all the time, he's not the one for you. In fact, he is very protective and cautious. If you read my posts, you know i didn't like Moscow at all. But I have some friends who thought it was a wonderful place. Good luck and hope you have a great time!
  11. Epigonos: I posted this in another thread in kind of a different context... but there's also a business/mathematical model that may be the simple basic reason for the phenomenon that you have noticed... I just repost here as food for thought and another possible explanation. "if enough people find their own personal reason to participate less... it does become a noticable. The bottom line... for whatever reasons... more people are finding other things to do than there are new people jumping on board to take their place. That actually happens a LOT to novel things founded by pioneers that fills a need for only a tiny percentage of the population. It's mathematics. Initial offering... large influx of ENTIRE population that has accumulated up to that time. Over time, interest wanes for some, but only new members to the population can replace them, and that number is less. Example: 2 people at each group from 20 - 70 would enjoy this activity. Hooboy opens website, 100 people join. After that, only 1 new person from each age 20 -25 finds tinterest, and maybe one per decade after that (can't teach an old dog new tricks). So 15 new people each year. If 20 people lose interest each year... by 10 years down the road, the population of interested posters is cut in half. Ok.. shit. Now after that I really need to go back to Montreal!!!! I must be going crazy here."
  12. >The vacuum felt at Hooboy's passing can be perhaps at least >partially explained by a >former loyal follower, Marc Anthony, who recently posted his >transition into seeking >relationwhips which do not necessarily require a sex >experience and subsequent review. > Well although that is the reason I don't post as many reviews... I really don't know if it can explain any patterns or trends on this board or any other. It's just my personal experience. I don't know if Hooboy would have liked being compared to Alexander the Great (well actually having known him pretty well, maybe he would have liked it! hehe), but I know I certainly dont' think my leaving a place could create any kind of vacuum! But yes... if enough people find their own personal reason to participate less... it does become a noticable. The bottom line... for whatever reasons... more people are finding other things to do than there are new people jumping on board to take their place. That actually happens a LOT to novel things founded by pioneers that fills a need for only a tiny percentage of the population. It's mathematics. 13. >For me it would be marcanthony and totallyoz. Of the client >posters on here they have stricken the most interest for me. >Hopefully I'll have the chance to at least say hello face to >face with them one day. > Jesse: I say a lot of things tongue in cheek... but seriously I hope we get to meet someday soon too. I don't go as often to SF anymore because I spend almost all of my free vacation time in Montreal.... But do still go there on occasion... and yes our paths will cross. Now as for Oz.... he's definitely worth meeting. But dust off your passport if you wanna meet him... places in other hemispheres is where you'll find him!
  14. >When you're a sexual veteran! > >HOT HOT HOT! > >It's always so much fun when you suddently realize you're >doing something you've never done before. > >i.e. - Getting fucked in the front seat of a car tonight. >I've fucked many a boy in a car before, but never took it >there before. > >}( Did you take pictures? :9
  15. >YAWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No ONE gives a SHIT!. except MAYBE you >and who yiou USED to be??????????? > >:7 :7 :7 :7 :7 Wow... I guess this means you don't like me anymore!
  16. I can only speak for myself. I used to hire a LOT... and I wrote a tremendous amount of reviews on the Hooboy site. I don't know the exact number... but it was large. Basically, if I hired, I reviewed. And I hired a lot. I think I would still review if I hired, but I hire WAY WAY less now. It's not that I have lost interest in boys... the opposite actually. If anything, they occupy morre of my time. I just look for different types of relationships now... and I look for them in different places. Basically I have befriended tons of cute wonderful boys at clubs and online (most of whom are in Montreal). Some of those relationships lead to sex, and some do not. I cherish both types. And that's what I do mainly now. I do occasionally hire, and when I do, I review. When I review, I review here at MER. I will never contribute another piece of information on the former hooboy site. It's my own issue, and I needn't rehash it over and over as I have spoken my piece on several occasions. But I won't participate in a place where respect and loyalty are not given to those who helped it grow. It's my issue, and so I just stopped participating there.. it's really that simple. It's all good.
  17. > >Marc, > >I am also going to disagree with you somewhat about Russia, >although my trip was to St. Petersburg not Moscow. I visited >St. Petersburg for nine days during the last White Nights >celebration. Perhaps having 20 plus hours of daylight per day >made the city seem saver that it really is. I agree that St. Petersburg is a far more "tourist friendly" city than Moscow. Communication would be difficult there too, but personal safety would be far less of an issue than in Moscow. When in St. Petersburg, I had hired a guide... but he was not a pro. I had met him on Flirt4Free and he was a engineering student who was both lots of fun and very very very sexy. So regardless if it turned out i needed one or not... I was ECSTATIC that I had him! :9
  18. Buddy2: Like you, I really enjoy going to places and discovering them for myself. I enjoy using the place's rapid transit, reading their maps, and doing what the locals do. And almost everywhere, that's what I do. I don't agree that that's the thing to do in two places I have been to... Brazil is one and Russia (specifically Moscow) is the other. The reason is that I found the language barrier significant for me, and the ease by which that can steer you into a situation that is NOT safe is also significant. When in Brazil, I enjoyed the Saunans, the night dining, and the discos. Many of these events are night events and many border on favellas (the crime ridden neighborhoods which are not safe). Wihtout a guide, I am not sure I would have felt or been safe especially since my experience was that a huge majority of the people (except hotel staff) speak less English than is required to help you. I don't disagree with you about trying to explore places on one's own... I also really like that. But if a first timer asked me whether he should have a guide in Brazil, my recommendation would be yes. I think everyone has to make that decision based on his own personal comfort barometer when it comes to adventurousness. In Brazil, it is certainly not impossible to go it on your own... it's just harder. And it's a vacation. What makes you comfortable is what you should do.
  19. >Considering that in NYC $200 and more for an hour is a >generous amount for anyone's time, a "tip" is not >merited. The hair stylist who owns the salon generally does >not receive a tip. Prostitution is a profession where the >goods being sold are owned by the provider and can be sold >over and over. I say no tipping but to each his own. Jocksniff: I found your post very interesting... and let me preface by saying I agree that to each, his own. But after reading your post, I am led to think that the issue of tipping escorts is more a philosophical one of tipping in general rather than a specific one to escorts in particular. That's because I do tip the hair stylist who owns the salon if I am satisfied with the job that is done... just as I tip the kid who owns his own business and details my car, and the small restaurant owner who waits on my table when I eat at her restaurant. My point is that I suspect we would differ a lot on who we tip... not just escorts. And again... it will come down to each, his own.
  20. > >>I've yet to read from an experienced bottom escort about >the >>specific method(s) he uses in prepping for a client. I >think >>that would help a lot. > >Athan, it`s time to repost your prep work. >;-) ;-) I don't know about now... but Athan used to go everywhere with his attachable shower nozzle (it looked like a garden hose). Now THAT was what you call a prep!
  21. >It was so much fun, much better than the parties they threw >during the outgames. I had tickets to 3 or 4 offical VIP >parties for the Outgames and they were horrible. This one was >just awesome. Love all the hot people in one room and where >else but Montreal can you have such a mix of bi, straight, >gay, young and old! > > I am so glad you had a great time. It's always one of the best times in montreal. Like you say, everyone is having a blast, and it's such a diverse mix.
  22. I almost always tip agency boys, because they typically have to give 1/3 of the fee to the agency (unless it's not a good time). I tip indenpendents when they provide a great time or better and their fees are "standard" to the norm. It's kind of a "gut" thing for me. If it feels like I want to give them more, then I do.

    >Such a dilemma. Should I try to have sex with Dennis Hastert >or Andre??? . Okay. I've decided! Andre wins! > But the real question is: Would you have sex with Hastert for $200 an hour? And if not, then not only should you have sex with Andre, but you should give him the credit he deserves.... because he would!
  24. The theme was airforce. The Olympic Stadium was studded with stars on the ceiling (and lasers). The music was awesome. The crowd was enormous and energetic. For those who have never attended this event in the Olympic Stadium in Montreal.... you are missing a life affirming celebration! And so as Don McClean would sing... "Starry starry night.... paint your pallet black and blue..." LOL.... ok maybe he didn't quite sing that. But he did name that song "Vincent". And I went there with 4 of them!!!! Holy shit. "And I could have told you Vincent. This world was never meant for one as beautiful as you."

    is he???

    >I saw Rico's picture. The eyes certainly look like Trey's >very distinct eyes. > >IMO, he makes a better looking man than woman. I'm a little >biased toward men though. > >It wouldn't make any difference to me if I was considering >hiring him. Is this a big deal? Am I missing something? LOL... he is definitely a better looking man than he is a woman. I have seen him many times as a man... and when with me, he's always a man... and a gorgeous first class one at that! BTW... the shooter drag queens at Unity are also much better looking men than they are women. It's the only part of the club I don't get. Why don't they have those guys go around serving shots shirtless and with little speedo briefs? I know I'd buy more shots that way too!
