I have Starwood, Hilton, and Marriot status. They all pretty much have the same point requirements for free rooms and upgrades, so I have no particular preference. And they all have very few black out dates... For airlines... I have Delta, United, and Continental. It used to be that Delta was the best in terms of how easily you could get an upgrade or a free ticket. I think they are the worst now. They have supersaver and saver awards and the difference is about 30K miles for a round trip between them. I am noticing that even WAAAYYYY ahead of time, you can only get saver awards. I think they are trying to get people to "Pay with Miles" which is a new program where you use miles instead of cash to pay part of your ticket. Unfortunately, as you might guess, the conversion rate is not favorable. United, which used to be the worst, is now the best, IMO. I am successfully getting upgrades almost whenever I want them, and when I use miles for free tickets, they almost always have available seats when the others dont. Bottom line... with the financial world the way it is, don't hold on to your miles. I know some people who lost a shitload of miles when various airlines went under.

Stating the obvious... please be careful. Those that care about you want you safe!

There you go... too much technical knowledge=bad thing. My understanding of computers is how to turn them on, surf the web, and email cute discoveries while surfing the web. Hence, opening a new computer out of its box has only brought joy and happiness to me... never thoughts of Siberian incarceration. Several things hanging with the young (e.g. twink) age group has helped me with.... 1) Enthusiasm 2) Energy 3) Appreciation for music with a thumping repetitive beat 4) A little less concern (just a little less... I can't ever get to their level) for what the future will bring Start planning a return to Montreal, TY. It's clear you need it!

That country always does it to you, doesn't it? Lucky for me, no place on earth does that to me, so it never happens to me!

Southern Decadence 2008-New Orleans 8/28-9/1
marcanthony replied to TownsendPLocke's topic in The Beer Bar
It actually sounds like tons of fun. I would definitely go if the timing weren't how it is. Planning to spend nearly a month in Montreal for the summer events including Pride, and will just be getting done with it a couple of weeks before Decadence... so hard to make it over there so soon. Last year at this time, I guess I might have considered it knowing that jesse "I am not a prostitute" santana was dancing at OZ. I have no problem with him making statements like he did about how it offends him that people just assume because he does porn he may also be rentable. It would also make sense though that he should have no problem if some people lose interest because of his position. -
HIV Rate Up 12 Percent Among Young Gay Men
marcanthony replied to TampaYankee's topic in The Beer Bar
Just to mourn the obvious.... To be 13, or 14, or 15, or 16. etc... and have this disease. -
This would truly be pathetic if it really happened. On a side note... Stephan Grondin (who is from Montreal) is my favorite DJ right now. I am really glad he's being recognized outside of the confines of Quebec.

Very hot... but sadly (to me anyway) top only!
-
That is good news! Now the next goal is to get to the point where, like Montreal, the Mayor of the City leads the whole parade!

Tampa: I think changing to the name to satisfactory would be a good thing if that's what you intended that category to be. I think "once is enough" has a negative connotation, and for me, would be on the bad side of the middle for a rating.

I saw "Aida" by Elton John/Tim Rice during the days of NYC when we used to run together. Your story made me think of one of my favorite songs from that musical: I am here to tell you we can never meet again Simple really, isn't it, a word or two and then A lifetime of not knowing where or how or why or when You think of me or speak of me or wonder what befell The someone you once loved so long ago so well Never wonder what I'll feel as living shuffles by You don't have to ask me and I need not reply Every moment of my life from now until I die I will think or dream of you and fail to understand How a perfect love can be confounded out of hand Is it written in the stars Are we paying for some crime Is that all that we are good for Just a stretch of mortal time Is this God's experiment In which we have no say In which we're given paradise But only for a day Nothing can be altered, there is nothing to decide No escape, no change of heart, no anyplace to hide You are all I'll ever want, but this I am denied Sometimes in my darkest thoughts, I wish I'd never learned What it is to be in love and have that love returned Is it written in the stars Are we paying for some crime Is that all that we are good for Just a stretch of mortal time Is this God's experiment In which we have no say In which we're given paradise But only for a day

Great news, and really happy to hear it!

I saw it too (emailed to me the second it came by a Montreal boy who is a FANatic of Madonna). I agree... she looks unbelievable for someone "several" years older than me ...
-
HAHA... this is great. It reminds me of the hilarious scene in Airplane where the lady says that she speaks "jive" and can translate. Oz obviously has learned "twink" quite well, and I agree that his translation is quite good!

They can even reply in French while in Montreal and that works for what we are looking for too!

It's not Faulkner, but it's set to haunting music.... From the beautiful musical AIDA (only the names have been changed to protect the innocent, LOL): ELABORATE LIVES (courtesy Elton John/Tim Rice) WE ALL LIVE SUCH ELABORATE LIVES, WILD AMBITIONS IN OUR SIGHTS HOW AN AFFAIR OF THE HEART SURVIVES, DAYS APART AND HURRIED NIGHTS SEEMS QUITE UNBELIEVABLE TO ME, I DON'T WANT TO LIVE LIKE THAT SEEMS QUITE UNBELIEVABLE TO ME, I DON'T WANT TO LOVE LIKE THAT I JUST WANT OUR TIME TO BE... SLOWER, GENTLER, WISER, FREE WE ALL LIVE IN EXTRAVAGANT TIMES, PLAYING GAMES WE CAN'T ALL WIN UNINTENDED EMOTIONAL CRIMES, TAKE SOME OUT...TAKE OTHERS IN I'M SO TIRED OF ALL WE'RE GOING THROUGH, I DON'T WANT TO LIVE LIKE THAT I'M SO TIRED OF ALL WE'RE GOING THROUGH, I DON'T WANT TO LOVE LIKE THAT I JUST WANT TO BE WITH YOU.... NOW AND FOREVER, PEACEFUL, TRUE THIS MAY NOT BE THE MOMENT TO TELL YOU FACE TO FACE BUT I COULD WAIT FOREVER, FOR THE PERFECT TIME AND PLACE WE ALL LIVE SUCH ELABORATE LIVES, WE DON'T KNOW WHOSE WORDS ARE TRUE STRANGERS, LOVERS, HUSBANDS, WIVES.... HARD TO KNOW WHO'S LOVING WHO TOO MANY CHOICES TEAR US APART, I DON'T WANT TO LIVE LIKE THAT TOO MANY CHOICES TEAR US APART, I DON'T WANT TO LOVE LIKE THAT I JUST WANT TO TOUCH YOUR HEART MAY THIS CONFESSION BE THE START.

I have so many fond memories of Hooboy. Currently I am in Montreal, so I can't help but think about the time we were here together, and it was his first time in a Montreal strip club. I bought him a lapdance with a boy who he had thought was cute. I remember him telling me afterward that it was soooo horrible because he was too shy to even move with a naked boy in his lap in a public place. This from a guy who founded the concept of escort reviews. What a wonderful guy. I miss him.

I enjoyed this movie very much also. It was given to me as a gift by 3 Quebec boys who I met in Unity. It has special meaning in Montreal because it was an original Quebec production, and also because the family situations portrayed in the movie are apparently quite realistic amd well portrayed. It doesnt hurt that Marc-Andre Grondin is very hot!

Jessie Santana sets the record straight"I am not an escort"
marcanthony replied to TownsendPLocke's topic in The Beer Bar
He seems like a very sweet and naive kid... and the fact that he's trying to change the perception of the world is evidence of that. It's a simple matter of prevalance. How many porn stars escort? One in four? One is five? One in two? Somewhere in that one digit range anyway. How many of the general population escort? The digits expand to maybe 5. People are going to look where there's a chance to succeed. Not to mention, porn stars put themselves in a position to be desired. It's part of the territory. -
Let's not forget that there is a Super Sunday before there is a Super Tuesday!

No Body Left Untoned Preparing for Carnival

OZ: If that's where you landed on this last journey, then I am DYING to hear updates!!! -
Hey TL: Thanks for the info. I have had my eye on Damien Lucas for quite a while... and based on the good time you had, may try to set something up. He's usually in San Diego though... so Sin City may not where I want to be now that you guys sucked all the life out of it! For now anyway! hehe Glad you had a great time. With Jonathan Lowe, Jesse Santana, and Damien Lucas all there at once, I can only say that I am sorry I missed it. And I may have to make up for lost time quickly!

Yes I was thinking of a Helix Studio guy who advertises on rent boy... and I am sorry it didn't work out.

If this is who I think it is... I am waiting for that full report!

Thanks... what great pics. I applaud you for having the time for taking any pics. Personally I would be too busy touching to have a camera in my hand!
