  1. GHB is a party drug, popular in raves like Ecstasy or Ketamine (K). It's actually a depressant and was initially famous for its use as a date rape drug because it's clear and tasteless and very easy to put in drinks to anesthetize the victim. In low doses, though, it's an intoxicant and it causes euporia and acts like an aphrodisiac, so that's why it's popular as a party drug. Side effects include death, as it is a depressant and can cause respiratory arrest. Hope that helps.
  2. All the following cliche's are variations of the same tune: 1) Leopards don't change their spots 2) The more things change, the more they stay the same 3) Can't teach an old dog new tricks 4) The definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over and expect a different outcome I am sure there are more, but not interested in spending that much more time thinking about it because I came to that conclusion a few years ago. I think it might have been on the 3rd time (and apparently there have been several after that).
  3. I've been traveling, so this is the first I've seen of this thread. Wow... very complex issue. The only thing that's certain about it is that it won't be unanimous. There's not much that can be said that hasn't already been said except this. I really appreciate the owners and administrators of this site. Yes they are my friends, and no I don't always agree with them. But I appreciate that they try to do it right. They care about some standard (whether you agree with it all the time or not), and they make a sincere effort to not only follow it, but explain it to the membership as well.
  4. tomcal and pauleiro: Thanks for all the great info and updates. I went to Prague a few years ago and had a good time...but clearly not the time that you described, so sounds like I should give it another shot sometime soon!
  5. If I am having sex with someone soon after meeting them, it's definitely because of beauty... or more appropriately "physical attraction" since beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. But if I am still friends with them after 6 months, they definitely had more substance to them than only that.
  6. I have totally stayed clear of this thread, Oz, because though you know quite well how I feel, I am just much smarter than you! hahaha j/k I have to chime in now because it brought back all those memories from your home in Times Square... with Hooboy and all those cute boys hanging around. Trying to figure out which club we should go to each night. Or all of us in a Montreal strip club... with us conspiring to get him in the back room against his will with the very cute stripper that he was so infatuated with. And how RED he turned when we succeeded! And so many other wonderful adventures... be they in NY, Thailand, Brazil, or Montreal. Where have all those days gone? Yes, those were great times, memorable times. We knew him very well... you, better than me. And yes, things are not always how they look. How well those of who know, know.
  7. It definitely was an unforgettable day. I remember (being in a more Western time zone) opening up my computer with sleep still in my eyes and seeing the indelible image of the smoking towers, only to watch them come down a very short time later. It was an overwhelming horror to humanity, but on a personal note, I remember panicking as the towers came down because someone who I met through you, Oz, who I had become very close to, used to catch the train just under that tower to get to Rutgers for school... and that was the time he caught it. The communication chaos that ensued made it impossible to find out if he was ok for days afterward (it might have actually been you who finally told me that he was ok)... and that was a horrible experience for thousands of people across the country scrambling to find out about their loved ones. He turned out to have overslept for class, and thus was not one of the many who lost their lives that day... senseless and horrifically.
  8. Darwin's theory of "natural selection" at work. Going to Cher... at what..$200 a seat? That's going to be the kind of couple you find. In Montreal, when you go to Club Sandwich, most of the couples sitting in the booths are similar in age. When you go to OttO at the W hotel, and their WunderBar...well, they look more like me and my date! LOL But that's why I like Unity... both kinds of couples co-exist pretty seamlessly, and pretty non-judgmentally.
  9. If you havent seen Bette Midler, you should. If you haven't gone to Krave, you should check it out one night. And if you find any new boys, you should let us know. It tends to be pretty barren there, hence why I have taken my nasty gambling habit across the border to the Casino de Montreal.
  10. Thanks, KYTOP! He's just my type. The guys dancing in the background weren't so bad either, and if he picked them himself, there's hope for all of us!
  11. Oz: I am happy both that you have gotten into such great shape and that you have this newfound passion, and that you are using it for this worthy cause. I'm in. Congratulations.
  12. It looks bad there from what I have seen on the news. Be careful and be safe, my friend.
  13. Well maybe it's hard to agree with Michael Lucas' antics, but I think I agree with his message. Brent Corrigan did everything that is controversial and potentially harmful to the reputation of gay porn (underage and bareback). And then the producer that he had a contentious relationship with ended up brutally murdered (he wasnt responsible in any way but he also was a central figure). Hes' been invloved in multiple litigations with multiple different website partners over a multitude of issues. It's hard to imagine that he then gets embraced by the industry to be a host at their award show! If I were a porn producer, I wouldnt like it either. And he's even my type and I can see that.
  14. He looked like a cute 18 yo (though he's actually 23)... but you are right. If you dressed him up in drag, he would be a beautiful woman! Fortunately , that's not his thing!!!!! And so far (lucky me) he hasn't asked me to take him shopping!
  15. I'll take the other view.... I am having dinner tonight in Montreal with a very gorgeous friend who was actually a model in the Comme de Garcons, the fashion runway show that is featured in that article. 1) He's gorgeous 2) He's a cheap date (he eats almost nothing) So he's 6 foot tall and 140 pounds... But I am not complaining!
  16. Tomcal and TY: Thanks for the very entertaining posts. It really does bring back so many memories from my past trip there. I have seen many many many gorgeous guys in my life, but I know that probably one of the most gorgeous I have EVER seen was dancing the night away at Le Boy the night I was there... and clearly one of the top 3 most beautiful guys I have ever fucked was in Lagoa (think Runway model at Euro/NY fashion week in your bed with ass up in the air). Brazil... sigh....
  17. Greg: It's a fantastic show. Bette Midler is not only the "original" DIVA and a great entertainer, but she's inspiration to everyone that age is just a state of mind. Already in her 60's, she puts teenageers to shame with her energy, mobility, stamina. When I am trying to get it up for the 4th time in a given night, I draw my inspiration from her! hahaha. Seriously, go see the show!
  18. Tomcal: THANKS!!!! truly very entertaining!
  19. Tomcal: Thanks for the outstanding synopsis. I have also been to the cities that you list, except for Porto Allegre, and your report just makes me realize that I have to go there!!!! Blond Brazilians, a rentboy bar, who can ask for more???? I would generally agree with your evaluations except that I think I enjoy Sao Paulo more than Ft. Lauderdale (but you admitted that you had emotional ties to Florida). Similarly I would rank Montreal higher on the list too because of my emotional ties to that place as well. I have many friends there, and that adds a LOT of value to a visit there. In general though, all of the cities that you included are truly fun times/good memories. Now I need to haul myself off to Southern Brazil!!!!
  20. I have great memories of Heaven and some of the hot hot boys that I met there. IMO it's worth the disadvantages (the biggest of which is the loooooong line on busy nights).
  21. Geez will you STOP!!!!! You are getting me all hot and bothered.
  22. Stu: My 2 cents. The issue here is actually nothing to do with good client/bad client or good reviewer/bad reviewer. It's strictly an affair of the heart (and Ive been there, done that). Your extended pre-meeting interaction with this escort along with your imagination of what things might be like caused an emotional attachment to him which simply didn't allow you to factually document what actually took place on the actual day. And your own character didn't allow you to submit what you felt was a biased report. Your story is not a "technical" one that is answered by any kind of analysis. It's the heart and mind in conflict. Oldest story in the book, and not news!
  23. I hope you told him that Brazil has wonderful saunas for relaxing and recreating... and invited him with you the next time you went to one! He would actually probably look cuter with no clothes.
  24. I'll go wherever business takes me... But it's funny how no matter where I go, Montreal just happens to be on the way (or on the way back).
