Broadway Queens: What is your favorite Broadway song?
marcanthony replied to TotallyOz's topic in The Beer Bar
Since I can't pick one (and just limiting myself to this current generation): 1) For Good: Wicked 2) Past the point of no return: Phantom of the Opera 3) Springtime for Hitler: Producers 4) Elaborate Lives: Aida 5) Electricity: Billy Elliot 6) Be our Guest: Beauty and the Beast 7) Good Morning, Baltimore: Hairspray 8) Slipping through my fingers: Mamma Mia 9) The Song that goes like this: Spamalot and 10) Finale: Les Miz. "To love another person is to see the face of God." -
It will not win an Academy Award. But I smiled through most of it, and laughed out loud once. overall, money well spent.

I would say that since you are confident you are ok financially, I would definitely encourage taking at least some time off. You can use that time to: 1) Visit one place you have always dreamed but never went. 2) Start one hobby/diversion that you always wanted to try but never did 3) Leisurely consider what your next "career" will entail and whether you want it to be in the same location that you live now (i.e. will you choose where you will live and find a job so that you can live there, or will you find the job of your dream and move to the place where that job exists). Good luck!

I really enjoyed it as well. Nicholas Hoult is a beautiful young man, and he's actually quite stunning in person (though at 6'4" tall you better get used to looking up unless you're tall yourself or can get him into a position of choice! lol). I think the problem is that they tried to make him look geeky, and then shortly after that, turned him into a blue Beast. Not a lot of time to see the "hot" Nicholas that would be fun to watch. Hopefully there are nude scenes in Jack the Giant Killer which he is currently filming! haha! I also thought Lucas Till was easy to look at, and definitely would not throw him out of bed either!

Adam: Western Europe is a non-stop flight away from JFK/Newark.

Get well quick, Expat! The strippers are calling your name!

I met Adam in person for the first time in early May. Cooper was kind enough to provide the introduction. So I know he was alive and well as of that moment anyway. I certainly hope that he wasn't driven to stop posting on this site because he met ME! lol

definitely the younger, twinkier version (was there any doubt for me?) his body looks nice regardless of the hair though!

Pictures please!

Tomcal: thanks for the great synopsis. It just reminded me how much I enjoyed my visits to Prague and how I must somehow get back there soon! George Basten.... you are VERY lucky!!!!

awesome story, Oz. thanks for posting. -
I was in NYC just 3 weeks after 9/11/01 when smoke was still rising from a huge hole in the ground, the stench of decay permeated as North as Central Park, and fear and somber filled the air. I was lucky enough to happen to be there on May 1, 2011 as well, when I could make my way to Ground Zero to watch the outpouring of emotion on that very site. Emotions ranged from dancing/cheering to open weeping. I know it's not over... and we have much work to do to make this world a better place for ourselves and future generations. But for right now, I feel like a full circle. And for now, it feels good.

Welcome to this board! It's been literally years since I last posted on the other board so I am not sure if we ever interacted there or not... but hopefully you'll join in the discussions here as often as it's fun for you!

And unfortunately, I fear this entire escapade may have been wasted on Ellen. LOL Chord may be straight and he may date woman, but he's the wet dream of many a gay man, and he knows it, and he is kind enough to humor us. So cheers to Chord!

personally, I think such audacity deserves a good hard bare bottomed spanking...and I volunteer to be the first, second, and third person to deliver it to Aaron!

Hopefully the plan that he does finally notice and therefore in his confused state decides to turn to a Dalton Warbler for advice/comfort/experimentation and they end up having wild and passionate sex in the back of a bus. Including lots of closeups! Ok we are all entitled to our dreams

And yet they left out Nicholas Hoult, from Skins (UK version) fame, who was recently cast to play the lead as Jack in Bryan Singer's Jack the Giant Killer.... http://gaytrix.net/coppermine/displayimage.php?album=415&pos=33

I think I would look at the date/time. I am actually not afraid to die, knowing it's something we all must do. I am afraid of leaving "cards on the table" and not experiencing all the things I want to do before that day. That information would help me with that issue.
