  1. Sounds exactly like Tatantino. With the exception of Grind House, his pictures always grab my attention. I have seen Kill Bill so many times I've lost count -- both of them. I never tire of them. It's sort of like to Rocky Horror Picuture Show for me, just good old outlandish over-the-top entertainment served up well. Easy targets for move critics that just have a dedicated following. I look forward to this one.
  2. Several years ago I had a mild interest in seeing some of Mexico. No more. I wouldn't venture into Mexico without the 101st Airborne as personal security. The country is corrupt from head to toe. It has been for the last 70 - 80 years or more. The corruption is worse than ever with the drug cartels competing with the other bastion of corruption -- the long time ruling party in Mexico, Institutional Revolutionary Party. The State Dept has a Travel Advisory for US citizens that is probably understated as is, for political considerations. I appreciate that Calderon is trying very signficantly to fight the drug corruption. I think the US ought to help him and provide as much support as possible -- far more than we are. That does not make Mexico any safer or less corrupt, at the moment anyway. That also doesn't mean that he and his party have abandoned the basic politcal corruption that seems to be the trappings of whichever party is in power. If you do go please then please exercise care. Kidnapping touristas is a very real problem down there.
  3. IMO Novak was one of the best reporters over the long term on the Washington beat. In contrast to the many talking heads, he actually reported news and was great at digging up information. In contrast to many other reporters he dug deeper than most and had tremendously valuable sources. He not only took on what he considered the oppostion but he also laid waste to his own cohorts when he disagreed or disapproved of their actions/stances. He didn't take prisoners. I would always learn something that was going on 'behind the scenes' with him -- the story behind the story. It seemed to me that back in the 70s and 80s, the entre for a talking head to gain access the few 'news shows' required that one brought both reporter acumen and uniquely sourced valuable information to the table. Now adays, it is sufficient that only one breathes and can talk from the hip echoing others or recite a talking point sheet. Only the few dig up unique news items. Most just regurgitate the gaggle. I especially liked his work when he teamed with Evans. He remained a prodigious reporter after his Evans&Novak days. I always appreciated his contributions on the McLaughlin Group back in the 70s and 80s even if I didn't always agree with him. The advent of CNN brought the era of the extreme side show talking heads. Unfortunately, he lent himself all to heavily to that scene for my taste, going past frank in tone to bitter and acidic screaming. To be sure, that is what was wanted by the network and he willingly played along just as the do today. After all, it is bascially a job with an income, not a calling like real journalism. I soon lost interest in the shout fests. He remained a vital news reporter even if he was way past the top of his game. His image and product became tarnished by his very vocal and often vitriolic talking head advocacy role as he embraced the extreme tax cutting policy of the right. Also, he crossed the line whether by accident or design and became the news rather than just reporting the news. That is a taboo that will tarnish any reporter. He was one of a kind, a mixed bag. Even though I disagreed with much of his viewpoint I will miss him.
  4. Thanks for sharing. Much appreciated. I've had some very fun Prides in MTL and Vancouver some years back. Lots of good memories. Last I knew Pride was celebrated with a culmination that first weekend in Ausgust. I guess it has slipped a couple of weeks since then. Maybe as a result of the two differently sponsored celebrations a year or two ago?
  5. Ditto on everything.

    Hello hello

    Your photos are scorching... wow!!
  7. THis was tried in the past by HooBoy and resulted in spectacular failure. Such a forum to succeed needs complete discretion on the part of all participating escorts. That was the weak link as one escort violated discretion by publicly posting comments of other escorts about their clients. I dont see us trying overcome the shortcomings of human nature, expecially when the price of failure can be so devastating to an escort's business. There is, or certainly was, a site for escorts to identify problem clients by client email handle and phone number. (Publicly identifying personal identificiation information by an escort would be much more damaging to an escort than most anything likely to be caused by a bad client.) I dont recall the site name. I viewed it twice or three times when it came up over the years. It never seemed exactly 'vibrant' by my esimtation. One of the escorts may know of it and help you out with a URL.
  8. Thanks for the link... and welcome back.
  9. I apologize for the inconvenience. The messaging capability has been problematic since our previous software support contractor attempted to merge the site and forum messaging capabilities unsucessfully. The new site software will have a much improved messaging capability. We are in late stage of testing new site software now. Until then please consider using email to contact other members if you dont mind them knowing your email address.
  10. Sounds like a very eventful year for you -- a real coming of age sort of year with regard to your own perspective and wisdom. Congratulations. May the next twenty-five be even more fulfilling and fruitful, and the twenty-five after that.
  11. Sounds like big fun. I'd definitely attend if I were local. BTW, you have been keeeping an exceptionally low profile lately. What have you been up to that your willing to cop to?
  12. I never see that page as I open on the bookmark http://www.maleescortreview.com/index.php] Not sure whether that is a plus or a minus. Teo tickles my lust muscle.
  13. Lot's of great eye candy, Townie. Thanks.
  14. Thanks for the link. The good news is that the Obama admin is strongly committed to net neutrality and the FCC is on record too.
  15. I assume is the a google bot scanning the site for content updates. There is no registered member by that name. I'm not sure how they do it.
  16. Terrible trajedy. I pray they catch the bastard.
  17. Let me second the Birthday wishes for Coop. I suspect he is too busy entertaining to come up for air.
  18. No experience with the Battery Ritz. I suspect Battery Park is pretty dead at night in comparison to Times Square. If you are bringing your own entertainment that might not matter. In the past downtown hotels gave a price break during weekends for being out of the action. If not then my preference was always to opt for the TS action.
  19. Definitely someone for everyone. I could be busy for a week or more without repeating once. Thanks for the eyecandy.
  20. This from the state that gave us Jese Helms, present Senator Richard Burr, and Congresswoman Virginia Foxx among many. (I leave out Liddy Dole only because of her past service with the Red Cross.) What a disconnect!!
  21. Just one more reminder of several lately that time is ushering us down the sidewalk of life that comes to an end all too soon. Not only is that jolting enough but it lends a sadness when those passing were an intimate part of our lives day in and day out. Mortality sucks.
  22. Actually, she exhibited some sense of incredulity early on. I believe it was on Morning Joe, during an unintended open mike episode, that she made some pretty damaging remarks about Palin. She had to walk those back in short order, the party being what it is with heretics. She was one of the few Conservative apparatchiks to exhibit reluctantly only tepid enthusiasm for Palin. Still, honor and responsibility should have goaded her to be more outspoken, as it should have many other conservative voices. Coming in the middle of the campaign (when most needed) though, this would have had the severest of professional repercussions for her. Yes, yes, and no. Palin is the sympton, not the problem for the GOP. If she were ever elected she WOULD be a problem for all of us. It does point out the 'lackwits' as you describe. And their existence is disturbing. However, each party has its lackwits if driven by different ideologies. In the case of the conservatives, what is much more disturbing to me is the number of Conservatve Apparatchiks who push Palin forward as savior to our system and the country. Now it is true that some of the apparatchiks may actually be stupid but most are not and see that she does not have the depth and breath and gravitas to lead the country as Executive and Commander in Chief. They are ideologues who have an agenda to push and view Palin as the 'Useful Idiot' they can use to rise to power and control the government apparatus to meet their goals of neocon foreign adventurism and to continue the 'greed is good' philosophy that 'what is good for the Haves is good for the country, and that by defintion is good for all, including the HaveNots. (After all, this succeeded with Bush II didn't it!) No, these people are not stupid... well maybe Hanity and couple of the 'Family Council' types who lack the vision to see beyond our bedrooms and churchs, that it is really uncertain and dangerous world out there that requires competent national leadership. They seek power to futher their own narrow interests, nothing more.

    Phishing

You might try abuse@yahoo.com. The abuse@... seems to be a widely used generic address for complaint reporting.
  24. I've always lusted after Joe's sweet ass and body. Would loved to have crossed paths with him way back when I could have done some damage. I bring him up only because Flix movie channel showed Warhol's Flesh for Frankenstein tonight with Joe front and center, including his sweet sweet ass. It stoked up the old embers.... well, some smoke anyway. Truthfully, Andy was better at Campbell Soup can art than at movies. But Joe made then imminently watchable even if he couldn't act, and they had campy kitsch. See Joe's ass move at: http://fromtherear.blogspot.com/2009/04/jo...ankenstein.html Joe then... and now...
  25. India Gay Ruling: Local Media Reacts With Glee http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/07/02/i...e_n_225019.html India Gay Ruling: Local Media Reacts With Glee HuffPost has rounded up some of the reactions across India's media to today's decriminalization of homosexuality by the Delhi High Court: NDTV called the Delhi ruling a "revolutionary verdict", saying that India has become the 127th country to legalize homosexuality. A headline in the Indian Express quotes the High Court's position that "Homosexuality is not a mental disorder." The Times of India has reported Bollywood's approval of the ruling and quotes filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt: "This is a defining moment in the history of free India. No state has the right to tell its citizens when or whom to love. The only 'queer' people are those who propagate hate." The Hindustan Times emphasises the UN's approval of the ruling. The UN said it believed the decision could act set a precedence for countries who currently outlaw gay sex. Indipepal writes that a similar petition had been rejected by the same court in 2001 and concludes that activism played an important part in bringing about today's ruling: "It is clear that this latest ruling is a reflection of increased activism by gay rights groups and high profiled supporters like Bollywood actress and Former Miss World Celina Jaitley, along with a more progressive government." The court ruling is repeatedly quoted by ZeeNews who calls it a "pathbreaking judgement". Zeenews quotes the ruling: "It cannot be forgotten that discrimination is antithesis of equality and that it is the recognition of equality which will foster dignity of every individual."
