First Came 'Love China'; Now It's 'Love Britain'
Keithambrose replied to PeterRS's topic in The Beer Bar
Thank you for raising this issue. I am a Guardian reader, but missed this article. It is very concerning to me as a UK resident, and a lawyer. Quite why Michael Gove, and his department are involved is unclear. This is just the sort of thing that the dreadful Braverman would think of. She is on record as saying that support shown for the Palestinian cause is, in itself, unlawful. This is rubbish. There is nothing unlawful about supporting the Palestinian cause, what is unlawful is supporting violence and/or Hamas, who are terrorists. -
Sorry, 'iron ore'

More like iton ore, I suspect!

In the UK, vinyl records have made quite a comeback. Som particular LPs are proving quite valuable, and near me a shop has opened just buying and selling vinyl LPs. I still have a shelf of vinyl LLs, mostly classical, but no record deck!

I also used Grindr and had plenty of choice!

The business makes sure they are not underage, so enjoy!

It helps to have good connections!

I think this is a recent phenomenon. When I was there in Summer, flights were on time. I have noticed recently that flights BBK to LHR are frequently 30 mins late, but so is the Thai flight, timetabled 15 mins earlier.

I think they are a first class airline. Great food and service. They can get a bit pricey, though!

I believe that the Japanese think that we smell of fish!

As far as I am concerned, if I am going to have sex, I always shower first, and wash appropriately!

The Le Meridien in Bangkok has them too. With English instructions! We had them in my firm's Tokyo office, so I got used to them. Sitting reading a book with warm air blowing up your bum is quite relaxing. Also the water jet, if that turns you on!

Interesting. I have been to San Gimignano, it is fabulous. Talking of leaning towers, didn't the Campanile in St Mark's Square in Venice collapse at the beginning of the 20th century?

Cambodia to see South-East Asia region’s fastest growth, says IMF
Keithambrose replied to reader's topic in Gay Cambodia
Indeed, I wonder how much if the growth will go to the ordinary people? -
Mine dosay that they can safely be flushed, and that they are biodegradable. So I believe them. They are a bit more expensive.

Good point. Not normally, though I use a moist baby wipe afterwards, which sort of counts!

Rescued cave "Wild Boars" boy dies in accident at 17
Keithambrose replied to Gaybutton's topic in Gay Thailand
To be fair, I have a friend who is a coroner, and he tells me that inquests can now take a long time. Lack of staff, Covid, and any other issues. I believe that there was a police investigation, again, that could delay things. Thus, the delay should not necessarily be suspicious. -
Didn't NZ do the same?

Odd, you would have thought he would have commented on Twitter, X, or Facebook! -

I agree with all that, I was thinking of the fact that he was said to have had a head injury, which is an unusual way to commit suicide. There are no more details. -
Yes, I have found Grindr good, in Bangkok, it's just that there is a lot of talk about Line, especially in relation to massage parlours!

I see that the inquest has found, today, that he took his own life, which is both desperately sad and somewhat inexplicable.
