i am back home in Ft Lauderdale from 7 days in Rio and 5 in SP! I felt The saunas were back almost to their Pre covid days! most nights they were busy! i had 4 guys staying with me in Rio, one couple from SP, a guy from Uruaguay who i have known for 4 years and a guy i have known from Rio for 2 years. i was to leave on Sunday so i went sunday morning to take my Covid test and went back to my apt to meet up with some of the guys, 4 hours later i got the results…Positive!!! i had no symptoms and i did not want to stay in SP for 10 more days before i could be tested again! So i cantacted a guy i know who would retest me, since i was sure it was a false positive! I boarded my flight back home that night!! it paid off making friends over the past 21 years!

I agree Oz, unfortunately i think the Brazilian economy has affected the middle class/middle age clients the most! a night out at the sauna for a Brazilian costs $60R. for admission, suites vary but a night out at the sauna for a local runs about $300.R.if they do one guy! and have a drink! those who used to go Once a week go once a month if that!

this article recently appeared in a publication with a interview of Junior Barbarossa the owner of Pointe. He like everyone else does not think the gay escort saunas will last much longer(as most everyone agrees)! Prices are dependent on how good a negotiator you are! But considering that the current currency rate is over Brazilian $5.25 to $1.00 US. i didn’t really worry about what the current rate the guys were charging. none were out of line.

it is true i have experienced that pricing often in Rio and SP the past 6 months! The economy in Brazil is still in the toilet for everyone and gogo danvcers /strippers from the straight clubs are meeting up for $200-$250.

I am heading back to Rio and São Paulo the first week in October. i was last there in May, but now i will be flying from Miami instead of OC airport so a lot shorter flight!

I agree with FloridaRob i have been with T-Mobile for the last 3 years and it is so easy! when the wheels of the plane hit the runways in Rio or SP my phone sends me a test saying welcome to Brazil! unless you are on the phone for hours a day while in Brazil it’s not that expensive!

Lucky i don’t know yet I don’t get there until tomorrow but the trip across the county with the 4 dogs has gone surprisingly smooth! the dogs are doing great! and traffic has been very light the whole way! it’s a 6 day car trip averaging 450 to 550 miles a day!(2?10 niles)!

as someone who has a 2nd home in Mexico and goes to Brazil 4 times a year, i can honestly say there hasn’t been much change for me other then closing hours changing in Brazil’s saunas and restaurants and also Mexico(Merida specifically). my routines did not change drastically in either country with me finding the rules enacted were stricter in Brazil and the Yucatán then in the US!

No i have until August 6th in Ca. before i move! The biggest part of the adventure is traveling across country with my 4 Frenchies!
