+1 Preparation is the most exciting phase of the trip. I too am planning a trip to LOS during this upcoming songkran. I have not decided yet if i should join G circuit party or just Fake club party.
-
he brought two of his friends. so it was a group of four including myself. we moved to 2 different places, partied all night long. and it was almost 4 by the time we got back to my hotel. it was fun but i dont think i am gonna repeat this with him. he was a bit too extravagant.

I have brought many guys to restaurants, shopping malls, bars and one time to that bkk’s highest building on different occasions. But all of them were only after we finished our indoor business. if your question is for completely non sexual agendas, One time, I have hired two masseurs from Sabaidee and we went to Fake club. it was purely for clubbing and drinking. next time was during Songkran. i off’ed a muscular hunk from moonlight and we went to a songkran party with his friends. it left significant damage to my wallet but it was one of the best experiences i had so far on LOS.

At least your expectations are consistent. 😉

Your post on the other thread reminds me of this post of yours too. Thank you. ❤️❤️❤️ I am already excited for next year! 😉

If you happen to be on the LOS during Songkran,

Thank you again to everyone of you for the tips. i was debating when i posted this topic earlier this year. Now i am with you. i fell in love with BKK Songkran so much so that i am planning to go there again next year. it looked like gay men from all over asia gather in BKK during Songkran. looks like gay asian men’s mecca. -
On a glance at their calendars, most airlines noticeably drop their fares after first week of January next year - at least from my hometown on east coast US to BKK (either through europe and middle east or through north pole and north east).

it was around 1 am near Fake club last Songkran. We first attempted to get into Fake club, but it was completely packed and the line waiting outside was super long. so we gave up Fake club and instead went to a different one nearby. tmp_v4739286076347322840.mp4

I really enjoyed my very first Songkran this year. no I couldnt go out much for water fights during the daytime since the heat was unbearable. but i had a great time going out at nights. music, water, half naked hot guys and drinks everywhere .. what's not to like? I was conditioned to miss Songkran every time I listen to this song, since it was everywhere, wherever i went last Songkran. I always have a plan to go to Songkran again next year. while listening to this song last night, I was just browsing through air fares and found a decent deal on Qatar airlines. I thought air fares could be quite expensive for Songkran period because of its popularity. But maybe not necessarily for flights departing from where i live. So, out of an impulsive act, I transferred my Amex points to Qatar and booked a flight. now time to look for hotels. 🙂

Thank you vinapu. I miss it (and LOS overall as a whole) so much so that i just booked another trip impulsively last night.

i completely agree. I have been to other more costly places such as Jey spa and VCK. they are way more cleaner, tidier and well maintained than Arena. it is very likely that you are gonna see their boys more trendier too. but i never skipped visiting arena at least once on my trips so far. this place is very unique. i am not sure what it is. my heart would be already pounding going up the escalator in that abandoned building. then once you open the door, all the guys would suddenly get up to form a line in front of you while you are welcome to sit down on their old and broken couch. most of the time, almost all of them would be half naked. their rough facial features, coupled with muscular bodies could be intimidating for first timers. but now i really enjoy that moment. i felt like the moment you enter that place, you could feel and smell a wave of testosterone. is it because of their dark and old interior decorations or is it because of those low maintenance guys? i am not sure.

to supplement, it’s what vinapu wrote about our visit to jupiter on our first night on last trip. i off’ed a super handsome cambodian guy with an excellent body. and yes he did perform very well.
-
your report’s bringing back good memories. i felt like it was years ago already.
-
It was our first night and it went very well. i have been a happy repeat customer of Jupiter. Last night was not an exception.
-
I also noticed him on moonlight’s latest posts. As per mamasan, he is a brand new guy and a “freelance”. it may explain why he looks nervous.
-
maybe two once in awhile 😉😉😉

dont you think it could be quite exciting to show your extensive stamps collection in a public place? 🤪
-
i wish i could have added that particular smell you could get only walking around here and humidity to it.

Differential pricing in tourism and hospitality
18past19 replied to 18past19's topic in The Beer Bar
It is more about the principle than the real amount. -
…. is unfortunately universal everywhere. But I am afraid price discrimination towards tourists is more harsh here in Thailand. I can understand free admission for locals to temples and palaces or other heritage sites etc whilst tourists will be charged a fee. But i am surprised to learn that there are different prices for tourists at certain restaurants too. and i am not sure if it is even ethical to do so with meals e.g. the price difference for a buffet dinner atop Baiyoke sky hotel is almost 200 baht between tourists versus locals. 🧐😞😞😞

This morning, BKK, or at least Silom looks like a different world - rainy, gloomy, being quiet with almost non existent traffic on the roads, compared to 3 days prior when it was very lively with crowds everywhere. we got some rain this morning. despite the rain, it is still pretty hot outside.
-
of course, not! that would have been a sin. hunky masseurs from sabaidee helped me heal from my hangover, relieved my headache and neck pain.

I was brought to our infamous Fake club the other night where they are having Songkran party outside. I couldnt believe what i saw. It was completely jam packed inside and there was a long line waiting outside. too many handsome guys with half naked perfect bodies. i felt like a little kid being in a candy store. finally we gave up fake club line and got into a different place nearby. It was a mixed place. Entry was 600 per person. A bottle of whatever whiskey with soda and ice was 3200 baht. water, music, alcohol and hot guys everywhere. we partied until like 1 am outside then moved to a different club which i dont remember or care its name. by the time i got back to my hotel room, it was 6 am. blame it to aging. after one night of party, my body needed a day to recover, refresh and rejuvenate. hoping to get into craziness again tonight to celebrate their last day (?) of Songkran.
