  1. I stayed almost a week in Cali in July so that is easy. - Granada (North of the river/around Parque Simon Bolivar). Close the centro and the main sights. Several gay bars and saunas (Phisicus 21 and Relax Men) - El Penon (the latter is a bit further to the West of centro, but still within walking distance). The IC hotel is located there. Several nice restaurants. - Santa Teresita (upscale residential area south of the river but a bit further out than El Penon). I don't have much experience with the barrios south of the centro, but supposedly Jardin should be nice as well (but is quite far to the south). The area immediately south of the centro is to avoided (at night). DM me for any questions or further info.
  2. Nice report; thanks. I think you may have arrived a bit late. If earlier/late afternoon there might have been more guys and action. Just my presumption based on multible sauna visits in CO.
  3. Parque Bolivar /the area around the Cathedral in Medellin was extensively discussed a few weeks ago (despite the headline of this thead and the initial posts about a certain scort; it is worth to make a separate thread about Parque Bolivar with all the observations/comments from here?) Anyway, here are my observations from my visit in Medellin last month: Parque Bolivar and the square in front of the Cathedral is perfectly safe during daytime; actually quite pleasant IMO. Indeed, there are drug/glue addicts and hustlers/prostitutes but they will not interfear or do you any harme. I suggest to walk and look around in the park. You will be noticed, and some of the guys will wave or try to make contact if you look at them. If you want to interact with the guys, sit down somewhere a bit private and be patient. The are many guys in the parque and some will eventually approach you; they will know why you are there. Have a chat (most will not speak English) and see what happens. The guys know where to take you for fun; nearby hotels have “ocasional room” for 15 mil. Bring condoms and lube. Expect to pay the guy 50-75 mil for sex; to be negotiated of course. The guys that hang around Parque Bolivar are young but not models/have muscle or gym fit bodies, and appearance wise a bit on the rough side, but if you are into such guys, you will have a good time there; some of them are cute/good looking IMO and most have nice lean bodies. Enjoy!
  4. To answer my own question. The small street (calle) with the (gay) bars east of the Cathedral, calle 57a wakes up on Saturday evenings (and presumably Fridays). There are a few bars with guests; I didn't watch any freelancers looking for customers; you would probably have to go the Parque Bolivar for that. I enjoyed the small Kanahan bar (which is actually a lesbian bar if I understand it correctly) which will allow you to sit at a table in front/outside and watch the street life in/around calle 57a (not that it is that exciting) while you drink your Club Colombian beer or sip your drink; nice ambience. If you are in the area on Fridays or Saturdays from 8-9PM and onwards, calle 57a is worth a visit.
  5. I know it is a bit late but to answer your question, older and less fit men are more than welcome in the saunas in Colombia, including Club 55. There will be other similar men there. However, if you go there and expect young handsome gym fit guys to line up to have sex with you, you will be disappointed. The saunas work as in most other countries. The young guys and muscle/gym fit models will be looking for fun with similar guys; that is my experience based on visits to several saunas in Cali, Pereira and Meddelin last month, including Club 55. I'm not saying that older or less fit guys will not have any luck (I noticed some younger lean and obvious bottom guys interested in manly daddy types) or can't have a good time there, but it is important to understand that the guys don't go there for work/to earn a salary and if there are attractive young or fit guys prepared to join them in the cabins for fun why bother with older and less fit guys (or in general less attractive guys)? Of course, you can try to strike up a conversation (but most will only speak Spanish) and discreetly suggest some kind of remuneration to see if that yields what you are looking for; but there is def. no guarantee for a postive outcome (most likely many guys will decline such offer). Alternatively, ask for their Instagram or Whatsapp and approach them afterwards (in Spanish) to see if there is a mutual interest. If there is no luck you can always look for a massage guy of your liking in the sauna; guaranteed sex if that is what you are looking for. I had a nice massage with extras (sex) with a nice young lad in Phisicus 21 sauna in Cali for 100 mil; 50 mil for the massage and add. 50 mil for sex seems to the standard price in saunas in Cali and Pereira; I have no experience in Medellin but it might be slightly higher). Regardless of the above, I suggest to visit the saunas (in particular on weekends where they are busy) as it is a nice experience (even if you don't have sex there) and reasonably priced (entry in Cali and Pereira is 15 mil and sligthly more Medellin, around 20-25 mil as I recall it).
  6. I visited Club 55 3 years ago where massage guys were waiting for customers/soliciting their services in the yellow room next to the entrance and the reception. This time I didn't notice any. I can't rule out that I was just unlucky, i.e. there were none that day or they were busy/occupied.
  7. Would anyone be able to share pics of this famous Reinaldo? I met a GP at 117 in Rio in April by the name Rey (at least that is what he named himself) which fits the description above, including his impatience to finish the session (in favor of a regular client he apparently waited for); however, the age (mid 30s by now) is much older than I assumed to the age of Rey to be.
  8. Here are my observations based on 2 visits last month (Friday and a Saturday a few weeks later). Both nights were busy. Full house/all tables busy from around 11 PM (Saturday a bit later). Entry is 15 mil until 11PM; 20 mil after 11 PM. Drinks/beverages are reasonably priced, e.g. a Club Colombia beer is 10 mil. The price for a "private show" behind the curtain is advertised at 60 mil but no first hand experience on what is actually included. The dancers/strippers vary on each night but many seem to come on a regular basis/each night. The guys will approach you for a hand shake/to say hi and small talk; in general they try to interact with the guests and are friendly and encourage touching/light groping, which should be appreaciated with small tips (2 or 5 mil note). Very few speak English so try to get by in Spanish. The guys vary in appearance from very masculine muscle guys to younger lean/fit boys with more boyish bodies (so there should be someone for every taste). In general, I find the strippers hot/looking great and sexy in their small speedos/briefs (although certainly not all of them are of my taste). The guys advertised on the webpage have not been updated, so don't expect to find the guys you have seen online to actually be there on a given night As stated above there will be a fuck show on Fridays around/after midnight (but it was nothing spectacular IMO; I enjoyed the guys dancing on the stage more); I didn't see any fuck show on Saturday (but I might have left too early). As suggested above many of the guys will open to share their Whatsapp details, so just ask if you fancy a guy and would like to connect. From personal experience, the guys I interacted with in Whatsapp subsequently were prepared to meet for private sessions at your hotel/apartment or their room (at a price of course; to be negotiated so don't accept their initial 200-300 mil offer!) In general, I enjoyed my time there (as I did in the past) and would love to go back. The ambience is very nice and the staff/guys are friendly. If you dislike loud music bring earplugs. The area (a little North of the main parts of Gaychapi) is in general safe and walkable at night, but make sure you don't cross the nearby main through road (Ave Caracas, with Transmilenio bus lanes) by accident at night.
  9. Wow. That is expensive! I have come across “extra guest charge” of 25 mil in Pereira and 30 mil in Santa Marta (for basic rooms at 65-80 mil/night) To put it into perspective you can get an “ocasional room” in the city centre (centro) for 15 mil; the boys at Parque Bolivar know where to go for this.
  10. Yes, you pay after. You get the money from your locker and hand it to the guy discreetly. Really not an issue.
  11. No, I am not referring to Dagoas Sauna hostel in calle 59. I just checked my messages exchanged with a chico who apparently frequently go there. The address is calle 58Bis #10-5. As I recall it, it is next to the Living 58 apartments (between the hotel and Loving 58 apartments in Calle 58 Bis); frente/opposite Theatron. I walked by on Tuesday. The door was open and inside on the wall there was a poster for the sauna, incl. massage for 60 mil. I didn’t have time (or the energy) to enter, so this is just information based on outside observations a few days ago.
  12. Bogota: There are no saunas with rentboys like in Rio or SP. But there is a sauna on the opposite/front side of Theatron club in Chapinero (I forgot it’s name, you need to look carefully when walking by to find it) with boys and massage (60 mil for the massage and presumably 50 mil for extras, but to be negotiated of course) - and there is St Moritz sauna (same building as Gigolos Erotic House in Chapinero) with the same concept. (No first hand experience but this is what I researched during my recent trip) Medellin: Sauna Club 55 gets going on Fridays-Sundays (and with a lot of eye candy, i.e young lean/fit guys) but it is traditional gay sauna (with no sex for pay/rent guys AFAIK) so if you are not young or have a fit/gym body etc you will most like not have any luck with the guys of your desire there (there will be plenty of other similarly looking guys for them to play with, so no need to engage with mature and less fit foreigners). Nevertheless, it is a nice experience and worth the time, but don’t go there with the expectation of having sex with handsome, gym fit or muscle guys. I was told at the reception that particularly Sunday afternoons are busy with a turnover of 150-200 guys going there on a Sunday; I was there a Saturday afternoon last month and it was quite busy with all kinds of guys (age, body type etc) and a lot (private) action in the many cabins on the second floor (and in the dry and wet sauna on the first floor). Entry is 23 mil.
  13. No first hand experience, but most likely not (in particular if you booked a room for two). During my recent visit to Pereira I stayed at hotel in the city centre (nothing fancy) where it was published at the reception that any guest going to the room - for more than 15min would be charged 25,000 COB (and indeed it was!)
  14. There are several nice Airbnb apartments in Laureles. Example: San Peter Apartments near Ave San Juan (which will take you right to Centro) and almost on Carrera 70, the main/busy "going out" street in Laureles with bars. restaurants etc. The area is considered safe.
  15. From my trip 3 years ago, I had no issues walking around the city center at day; also around the cathedral and Parque Bolivar - which was actually closed/fenced off at that time - but from reading the warnings in here I didn't walk the streets west of the Cathedral. Homeless people and drug addicts will mind their own business. Obviously, you need to be aware of/look out for pickpockets. It was OK for me and much more interesting area than El Poblado, but maybe it is just me. I also walked past the cathedral on the way to the hustler bars in calle 57 one evening, but I agree with the previous posters that this zone should be avoided after dark; even for me it was bit too rough. Plaza Botero and Parque Berrio, however, are fine at night. A lot of people there - and heavy police presence as I recall it. The area east of the nearby main road, Ave. Oriental, also seemed fine to me.
  16. Hmm. From my visits last year not many escorts will accept 60-70 EUR for 30 min (out or in-call). Many will reply that they don't do 30min (only an hour) and standard rate seems to be 100 EUR and upwards for 1 hour (at least for gym fit/muscle guys). I'm not saying that you might be lucky to find guys who are desperate for cash and willing to accept a lower rate, but I would fear that their physical appearance and/or the services may not meet the expectations of the customer.
  17. Skip Malaysia hotel. Too basic and seedy IMO. There are better choices up Soi Si Bamphen (the street that ends at Malaysia hotel, Ibis hotel and the 7/11 on the corner). Ibis is okay, the Aim Sathon is also good but I found the Tivoli hotel further up Si Bamphen (5min walking from Malaysia hotel) to have nice and quiet rooms; visitors is no issue. There are several good restaurants in this soi.
  18. Thanks - will be in Medellin for the second time next month. So there is no/little point in visiting calle 57a? 3 years ago I found the short street quite "dead" but I might have been there at the wrong day/too early in the evening. When to schedule a visit? The advice is still not to venture westward on calle 57 (past the cathedral) at night?
  19. I read somewhere that some airlines are suspected to ask for YF vacc. proof when flight is overbooked or seats are needed, as they know that there will always be some unvaccinated pax at check-in. I witnessed it myself at the GRU check-in counters for a AV flight to BOG.
  20. I got the YF vaccination for free in BOG airport 3 years ago. Landside, not airside/in transit area. Apparently still available also for foreigners. It was very quick/efficient, 5min max. I showed my yellow vaccination passport/booklet and the doctor made an entry in the booklet. Over and done with. I was asked for proof of YF vacc. when flying from GRU to BOG some time ago, so when traveling from Brazil til Colombia it is needed.
  21. From my experience (two vists last year) it around 5PM to 7PM. At lunch time I would expect it to be very quiet. I thought Thermas opens at 3PM....
  22. hmm...when I was in Budapest in Oct there were plenty of hot guys advertising in Hunqz. Yeah, some guys desperate for money will settle for 10-15,000 HUF but most guys will charge higher than that. You can ask if they have lower rate for 30min; many will offer that upon request. Gym fit/musle hot guys (many will be used to traveling to Zurich, Vienna etc for work so they know their market value) will charge 100-120 Euro an hour. Above is based on my Oct 2021 observations from staying a few days in Budapest.
  23. In some countries it will not prevent the hotel from collecting a "joiners fee" or the equivalent when you bring a local guy/girl to the room. I have no idea if this is practised in Brazil or CO; I doubt it.
  24. Should be possible if taking an Uber straight to Club 117 or Pointe 202 (Club 117 is actually closer to the airport, but I can't remember how it is on a Friday night). If you get there by 9 PM you should be fine, even by 10. There is a shower room next to the locker room for clients downstairs. No need to freshen up before arriving the sauna. Saturdays should be okay at Club 117; at least it was when I was there in April. They showed a local football match (I forgot the details) on the big screen in the outside smoking area/bar which was very popular with the local guys/GP.
