I have love & hate relationship with Bangkok. i love the cheap luxurious hotels, the excellent shopping malls ,the vibrant nightlife and the tourist attractions But I hate the air pollution ,the heavy traffic and the crowding so usually I stay no more then 3 nights and then horribly escape to nearby Pattaya . I agree if I am paying a Room for 2 persons it's really non of the hotel business who I am bringing to the room , of course it's their right to ask the guest to show ID for security reasons but that's it.

Yes never faced any problems too . When I in BKK I just book room at Silom area and bring who I want. Short time rooms are really waste of money .

I would not. I am not traveling to a country with so many uncertainties and rapid changes at government policy. I do prefer to travel to South America at the moment where it's much simple and clear but holding my plans till all this Covid 19 madness is over.

It's not so simple , some are more cautious and prefer to avoid the hassle no matter how they miss Thailand and others are willing to take the risk and travel.

The stamp is the actual date of arrival no matter the exact time you arrived. There is no point to argue with the immigration they have restricted rules it's like talking to robots.
