Having an old farang boyfriend isn't really a dream come true for a typical young Thai ( money boy or not ) ,Thai society unfortunately in general is conservative and racist and isn't accepting gays neither mixed relationships , cultural differenceare not helping either. although I heard about older farangs and Thai boys true love relationships it's very rare and if you find young Thai boyfriend that really love you and not your wallet you can consider yourself as a very fortunate person. Instead of you I wouldn't fall into black bile maybe round the corner a wonderful charming Thai boy is waiting for you, who knows...

Bangkok's flawed plan to allow foreign land ownership
Boy69 replied to reader's topic in Gay Bangkok
Unfortunately you are right. Other serious problems that the government is responsible for : many restrictions on visa for potential foreigners who wants to work in Thailand, retired or potential tourists who wish to stay longer period in the country also most countries aren't aloud for visa on arrival and must apply for visa at their local Thai Embassy with lots of redicilios requirements. limiting the opening hours of entertainment venues and many restrictions on bars . Dual pricing policy for locals and tourists. restrictions on married couples foreigners who are married to Thai have to obtain visa for their stay even if they have children with their local Thai wife. long stay visa for more then one year are limited only to foreigners who invest substantial amount on real estate or willing to pay very high fees for Elite visa. -
New Pattaya hotel promises to ‘fly you through space’
Boy69 replied to reader's topic in Gay Pattaya
Hi-end hotels are useless for me I am not in my room except for sleeping so what's the point splashing extrovagent funds for a room in luxury hotels . I agree it's better spend the money on boys, tourist attractions and shopping. -

You can see the price he paid in YouTube about 5500 Bht a night without breakfast. -
I am not sure that identical twins share the same DNA necessarily become both gay .

Opening hours for entertainment venues to be revised
Boy69 replied to reader's topic in Gay Thailand
Restrictions on openings hours are a political decision of conservative government they just used the Covid-19 as excuse to implement restrictions on the entertainment industry. -
I don't think so , Dongtan Beach already had been reconstructed some year ago.

Never used bolt , motorcycle drivers charge 60 B inside Pattaya and 80 to 100 to Jomtien.
-
This is not a problem at all boys are used to drive all over Pattaya going to clients via bars or the apps I usually give them extra 100 Bath to the fee agreed for transportation and nobody complained.

A great option if noisy families and organized tourist groups is your fetish. -
I think staying in Jomtien and cruising in Boyz Town a better option , you are near the sea, accommodation options are better and cheaper, bus to the airport is walking distance and only ten minutes drive by Baht bus or motorcycle taxi.

You raised a good point living in Thailand permanently is completely different thing then staying there limited time for vacation, Can you explain why you decided it's not for you ? .

Yes I agree the west culture is much more open to gays , more gay enentertiment venues.the internet, apps and smartphones made hook up more easily then it used to be before .gay peoples have more opportunities in their home countries nowadays . Thailand is no longer the great escape destination. Many years ago I had the opportunity leaving at Pattaya couple of month every time and it was a gay heaven I had everything I needed there and rarely leaved the city limits nowadays it's still fun but not close compare to the past after a week l find myself bored and prefer traveling more other destinations in Thailand.

The major problem Is that Thailand changed dramatically over the last twenty years : Retiring nowadays is more complicated the immigration rules are more restricted and changing all the time makes things more uncertain and difficult planing retirement on the long term. Thailand become much more expensive than it use to be and the strong Baht isn't helping either. Pattaya gay scenery shrinked dramatically Sunee Plaza almost don't exist anymore , most of the gay bars at Boyz Town closed so most of vibrant gay life in Pattaya used to have is gone . In the past many Thai boys genuinely seeked for falang boyfriend now it's changed most of the boy are money boys and straight so the chances to find real Thai boyfriend are very low.

The Rose Residence is about USD 60 a night.
-
Thai hotels are currently about 30% occupancy in general, when the demand is so low there is no reason for airlines to increase the flights to Thailand.

No , actually it's 4213.67 .

Will it be much better to visit in December vs August?
Boy69 replied to vortexed's topic in Gay Thailand
My visit in August 4 years ago the weather was gloomy most of the times heavy cloud cover and sometimes heavy rain for long hours , I would prefer December prices are much higher but the weather is lovely. -
