There are several hotels which not allow guests or charge fee, It's better check in advance with the property or book hotels known as guests friendly recommended here by forum members. In all my search at the web I couldn't find out if I Residence is guests friendly however I liked its location near Chong Nonsi BTS station and not too far from Patong.

If you want to find love in Thailand rent one and the same is applicable for property there.

These 2 options can't be compared. Avani is luxurious big hotel with all the facilities of luxurious hotel including swimming pool and lovely spacious gardens and prime location at the centrum of Pattaya next to Royal Garden mall,East Suites is small boutique guesthouse with no facilities at all although you have a free access to Zing Hotel and Jomtien area is in general less expensive than Central Pattaya. I am not sure about guests policy at the Avani you have to check. East Suites is gay / guests friendly .

In several bars and clubs at Soi Paradise/ In Soi Paradise/Paradise Complex there are several bars and clubs you can't miss it.

Unfortunately some boys interpreted our kindness as weakness which they can take advantage to screw us or to show disdain.

I preferred the one bedroom jacuzzi suite but if had been already booked so I took the 2 bedrooms suite althoughI didn't need the second bedroom. It's amazing suite with kitchen, lounge, nice terrace with jacuzzi. I really loved it.

I stayed there 3 years ago at their 2 bedrooms jacuzzi suite, I think it's the best luxurious room I ever stayed in Thailand moreover you have free access to Zing pool .

On my early trips between 1999 to 2006 it was truly impossible to find a room between mid December to mid January in Pattaya the whole City was crowded With mass of tourists all bars packed it was like Disneyland for adults! The declined started I think with the new social order ridiculous campaign the former prime Minister Taksin imposed on the country which harmed badly the int'l tourism .

The big obstacle is lying somewhere else out of about 250 countries in the world only about 30 countries qualified for visa on arrival at the airport all other citizens need to go through a via dolorosa process at their local Thai embassy, more over visa run is much difficult to do now at neighborhood countries, Sometimes I wonder if the Thai government really wants tourists coming in big numbers because their policy says opposite.

These are very low numbers out of the 7 millions almost 50% are from neighborhood countries low key / short time travelers . The tourist industry in Thailand had very bad year. I hope 2023 will be much better.

In all my trips to Thailand more than 20 years never saw an Indians of Arabs at a gay venues nor in public any gay activity , I noticed Arabs are very active on Grindr at nights in Pattaya and less in Patong/Phuket and none in BKK ,but never saw Indian profiles anywhere on Grindr.

In general I think it's a very bad idea to have sex in bar , no privacy, awkward situation and yes most likely the guy didn’t got the whole fee he deserved.

They took advantage of you,if a guy come sit with you should pay only for his drink and if go with you from the bar you pay in addition off fee, I don't understand for what they wanted 1000 baht.

Once the money run out you will see plenty 'for pay' activity.

It's ridiculous proposal it's targeting only rich people who are able to invest min. one million dollars in the Thai economy and this rich people don't need it anyway because they already had legal ways to get around the restrictions on owning property in Thailand.

Massage include masseur fee Min. 1500 Bht. Go go bar including drinks,off fee and boy fee short time session Min. 3500 Bht. Boys from online apps Min. 1500 Bht short time. This is a rough min. estimation cost, if you have special requests, long time session (over night stay with the boy) or want the high demand star boys the prices will rise up accordingly.

Yes I agree too many cases of boys promising things which they don't have any intention to fulfill , just a waste of time . maybe by paying them only for transport back will teach them a lesson.
