  1. All the best to you. Just don't get schufted.
  2. The only sauna I've been to is Chakran in Soi Aree. It was like the Thai version of a Bel Ami movie set. I was quite overwhelmed.
  3. So do people like you who view Asia as an easily rubber-stamped, single entity whose occupants dispense a "distinctly Asian point of view".
  4. And being gay I suppose you don't share that common feeling of cunt either as the Australians like to call it.
  5. Makes sense. The dismantled structures will serve the same purpose as Buddha relics - to preserve memory and provide a physical and continuous connection to the institution it represents (or used to represent) which a lot of Thais, particularly lesser educated ones, would value. Also, all that money and talent spent wouldn't go to waste - it's more eco-friendly and in-keeping with the times.
  6. Can PM pls? Err...so that I can feel sad for him and the others too.
  7. A day trip? I guess only Pattaya would be feasible then and no night life if you intend to go back to Bangkok the same day.
  8. Two different phrases actually: farang kee nok: bird-shit farang farang kee nuu: rat-shit farang Both describe a farang who's cheap or miserly. I wouldn't use it as it's not very polite and the kind of colloquial speak best left to the Thais. You can say kee neow (to mean stingy) but personally I would hold my tongue when Thais criticise other farangs and for sure when they criticise other Thais. I just flash my benign half-smile.
  9. Bahtshit crazy you mean. Seriously, we need to play safe all the time, even with boyfriends. You may know where your dick's been but can you say for certain you know where his has been? Undying love and declaration of complete faithfulness or not.
  10. First time having sex? Yum. Is he cute?
  11. As you've been "alone and with friends" to these "Thai for Thai clubs" and "always been made welcome" perhaps you could share their names with readers as I'm sure they would like to experience that welcome too.
  12. Why would I know that? And didn't you make another imaginary trip to Singapore recently where you had an "unexpected encounter" with a hot young Singaporean, while your phone was pinging constantly from the gay apps with messages from Singapore hunks desperate to meet you? You practically had to push them away with your walker! It would seem to me that you are the expert in this and should be sharing your expertise with others. Would you like me to rake up that post from SN to refresh your memory?
  13. As opposed to your posts which heavily demonstrate the influence of Winston Churchill or Neville Chamberlain or whoever was prime minister when you were growing up! It is a law of nature that we all imbibe and spill out the views of our political leadership like unthinking automatons. There you go, contradicting yourself again. If we were all regurgitating "LKY's mantras" as you suggest I should be as a "good Singaporean", there would be no complaints, no disquiet and no rebellion. Hard as it may be to accept, Elizabeth II is on the throne now, not Victoria. It's time to shake that colonial dust off your shoes and keep up with the times.
  14. No, you made an emphatic statement that there is a "distinctly Asian point of view". I'm curious to know what that is in 2017. What is this point of view that you insist that 1) all Asians innately have in common and 2) is uniquely Asian and 3) implicitly, because you want to hear it, 3) what is so special about it.
  15. It's not a typing error if it's repeated. There's nothing funny in stalking either. Or poking fun at a potentially serious issue of posting pics of underaged guys on a sex-related site. But we pick and choose as to what we find "funny" and often it is as much a political decision as it is a matter of personal taste in humour.
  16. Please delete.
  17. Oooh is this one of your famous "traps? We know how that last one went. Hey, were you the guy they hired to get rid of the rat problem around the moat? Newsflash: still plenty of rats there! Never mind the Asian values I was allegedly "taught". I wanna hear what a447a thinks is a "distinctly Asian point of view" in 2017. He seems to think there is one. And have you forgotten your good advice that I should learn from my travels and experiences and not what I was taught? Forgotten what you preached, Stalker? Would you like me to find the post to refresh your memory? Just because one is taught something doesn't mean all of us are obliged to reproduce it verbatim without filters from environment, upbringing, social experiences, etc or even reject them outright. I'm not some German android from the 80s. Anyway, I shan't encourage you. I know how excited you get when you receive a post - any post - from me. Night night.
  18. Just a couple of quick updates. Ram Bar offers a free buffet of Thai and western finger foods from 8 pm every Sunday for those of you interested in that sort of thing. I learned the expression "balloon chaser" on SN. The previously mentioned Soho Lounge in Santitham is now open. They serve food too.
  19. Mother! Oh, God, Mother! Blood! Blood!!
  20. Yikes, now that's a real insult! You might as well call me Stalker. Take it back!
  21. Watch out for my soon-to-be published short stories "My tryst with a sugar cain planter" and "I was cained for being a naughty Asian boy".
  22. Not offended, amused. Oops, she did it again.
  23. Hi a447A, I'm curious to know what a "distinctly Asian point of view is".
  24. Sorry, that should have been "what differences in personality have you found between Thai and Filipino guys?"
  25. I like the guy in the blue polo tee. I would love to lift his shirt up from behind as he's snapping that pic. Yikes, that would make me a shirt lifter! Thanks for sharing all the pics and info, GWMinUS. If you could generalise - and it would be a very broad generalisation - what differences in personality do you find between Thai and Filipino guys? And from your travels, how widely would you say English is spoken, especially away from the big cities? As in reasonably easy to understand, clear English. My experiences with Filipinos working in Sg is that standards vary widely.
