Progress is being made to cleaning up Boracay. The target is to Reopen the Island to Tourists by October 26th. We will see?? But President Duterte has stated, NO MORE PARTIES!! There is talk limiting the number of Tourists that can even go to Boracay. I hope things work out!! It is beautiful...

I am just back from spending 3 weeks in beautiful Cebu City. I did not go to any of the Gay Bars (if they still exist??) Instead I had Dates with many great young men. 18 up to 32 yo. I met most on PlanetRomeo. But I know guys there now use Grinder and LINE. I find most of the Pinoy Guys are TOPS. They list themslves as Bisexual. The BOTTOMS are often Fem and say they are Gay. And on that note, AVOID THE MANILA AIRPORT. Things are a Mess, flights are always delayed as much as 1 hour, and the lines are long. Not enough capacity!!! Try to fly directly to Mactan/Cebu Airport. It is located on the small Island of Mactan or Lapu Lapu. The taxi fare from the Airport into Central Cebu is about 300-350 PHP. Be prepared for it to take 1 Hour even on a Good Day. I like to stay near Osmena Circle. There are many choices of Hotels and Condo available. Shop on Hotels.com or AirBnB. IT IS MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES!! Ingat!!

I am from the USA but 50 years ago my Husband and I did our Honey Moon in Europe and England. At the B and B in London we pushed the two Single Beds to together for "convenience". And the next morning the Cleaning Ladies were all a twitter... ;-)

AHHHHH this takes me back to when I was 26yo and making my 6 month Tour of Europe. (I am an American) I certainly stayed mostly in Youth Hostels. I would dread the need to transfer between Airports. It is bad enough in Los Angeles International. You have to wait for the "A" Bus, which may or may not come, then transfer from one of the Domestic Airlines to the International Terminal. And need to LUG your suitcases on and off the Bus. I can see why people book on United at LAX. Everything is in one terminal. Similar in San Francisco. But at least they have a Rail Shuttle. BUT if you fly into Dallas or Chicago on Southwest, you must plan to take a Bus across the City to the Terminal for International Flights. So I just hope Phuket and Chang Mai do not go this direction. But then 2050 is a long time off. Old Me may not have to worry about these things... HAHAHA

So will these be in addition to the existing Airports? A capacity of 10 million passengers does not sound adequate given the larger numbers of arrivals at each City... But having two separate Airports seems a bad decision. Of course it works in the UK and some Cities here in the USA.

I can see that both American and United are in the middle of the list. Once got a "free" trip on United traveling to the Philippines. But it was not really worth it. Had to change to ANA in in Japan. Arrived at 11PM and the flight to Manila was not until 7AM the next day Had to cough up for a short term nap in the Airport Hotel. On the return flight from Manila, ANA tried to bump me. I had to show them all my onward flights on United to my home airport. I was the last passenger they put on board. After that I cancelled my United Credit Card and said, NEVER AGAIN!!

I had read that no only do you need to be HIV Negative, it takes about 4 weeks to become "protected". I that true?? Prep is also available here in the USA and many HIV Clinics.

Maybe a young active bottom might consider starting on PreP before heading to Bangkok or Pattaya. If the young man needs to know more about PreP he can read the Post on here or just search on Google.

In the Philippines Grab fired 100 Drivers for Canceling too many Pick-ups. Seems the problem was Uber had paid the Driver 2P per minute extra for travel times. So in a Traffic Jam the driver was covered. Grab does not pay that so Drivers were canceling a pick-up if it looked like they might get stuck waiting in a traffic jam. Do not know what the policy is there in Thailand???
