Ill have to give good old Mexico another look outside of just Cancun.... Everything you said makes sense....the flights are long and going I am fine since I am am anticipating all the fun I will be having... Mexico is a close flight from homebase in Atlanta... I need to look into some other locations as well that are gay friendly with thriving opportunities....

Paying is not an issue...regardless of where I meet the guy Description is real and I have stood out in Tokyo and Hong Kong, being tall and African American.... Hey guys...going through all of these postings and researching for myself via the internet but would appreciate any quality feedback that can be offered... I know the area where I plan to stay and the sights I am going to see... Ill be in Thailand for a limited time and want to have as much fun and sex as possible... All of your guests are normally with you or have no problems being let in and up to the apartment right? Rio is similar to the states where is somebody looks like they may be out of place or dont belong, then they will be questioned... I have had no issues with guys visiting but I also didnt start out going to Rio inviting random guys to come over to hang out.... I strongly suggest that unless you speak Portuguese OR feel extremely comfortable to not invite anybody back to your place while in Rio

I have stayed in apartments and mainly hotels in Copacabana....never had any guys card or checked out except one time... If they simply come into the hotel like they know where they are going, there should not be a problem The only time a doorman will request ID at an apartment if that is the norm....A way to get around that is to greet your guest downstairs or just bring them in with you.... The point of renting the apartment/AirBnB is for discretion... If you are not well versed in the norms and practices of Rio, it may be best to just stick with the saunas....

Tom...you should start some type of business for answering the same questions over and over and over again....You are definitely a wealth of information but basically telling guys the same thing that they have decided they did not want to read or research on their own.... If you ever decide to start some type of guide business for people who are unable (either too lazy or just prefer not to) do their own research, Ill partner with you....

Interesting....that makes a lot of sense... I saw a lot of Brazilians in Barcelona....never been to Zurich but I can imagine they would be in demand... London, they are all over the internet advertising... There is a huge difference than the common sauna boy that you see in Brazil than what you will find working in Europe...due to the cost of living and how savvy he would need to be...

Interesting.....I have had various amounts quoted to me since I have been going to the saunas and have been anywhere from $70R to the most I think $150 for somebody I had to have..... I have even had some freebies now and again... I will be trying that process of NOT asking and just giving the going rate.... Hopefully that wont get me beat up Tomcal....

The last time I was there was last December and I had an amazing time...there was a ton of variety and I like the maze setup.... I have heard that Monday is the best and busiest night there and since it was far from Copa, I was glad to only go there on Monday... Sounds like I wont miss much this upcoming trip bypassing it and sticking to 117....I may go by Pointe since I have not been there since March of this year...

You may want to use Google for this... I live in Atlanta and we have a consulate here so I took mine and dropped it off and picked it up the first time...the second visa they send to my home... I highly recommend Google

There is little to no danger of theft at 117 because they have cameras AND the guy would loose his job from the sauna...If you are upstairs they have people who are watching the rooms and downstairs in the changing area, they have guys who are constantly watching the cabins... I wear a towel only and keep my wallet in the locker and pay in the cabin as I take my bag with all my goodies up with me.... Do what works best for you and is most comfortable....

I was thinking about investing in some property there but a friend who lives there told me to continue doing as I have and stay at apartments and hotels since owning in Rio is a hassle... I have been going 3-4 times a year since I started as well...I think once I slow down going to other countries, Rio will be the main place... I also have a long time until I retire....that free time and flexibility has to be great

400R is the going rate for Tomcal (he is well known and takes care of the guys that stay with him AND they know they will get the same treatment again)...the rates will vary based on the guy and you...and your negotiating skills.... It is a good deal for the guys but take into account you will be responsible for food, drinks, any outings, etc. I'm greedy and love variety so 400R is 4-5 guys in the sauna for me.... I have paid various rates and have had a few freebies in the saunas and just got to the point of wanting 24 hour companionship from one guy that I found interesting and very attractive....He does not speak English and my Portuguese is still not advanced enough for full conversations.... Take into account what your want to do for the day...your plans.. You also want to take into account the guy...some guys are easy going and go with the flow whereas some guys will only go certain places with you... I recommend to every guy who goes to Brazil and does not speak the language to befriend a local who speaks English on a non sexual basis which will help you see a completely different Rio and maybe score for free...

Buying in Mexico City or another part of the country.... Maybe I should give Mexicans another try...I like one guy in particular in Cancun and that is IT...haven't really ever been interested in them outside of him....
