Correct...if you are young and hot with an amazing body....cash probably wont be a big deal because it is expensive by Brazilian standards to get in so most of the guys there are middle to upper class Brazilians who can pay the entrance fee...They are the typical male "Barbies" that Ipanema is famous for... They have wifi as it is a very modern club but the music is always very loud and the few times I have been it is crowded.... Good luck though.... I can not wait to hear your story about trying to pick up guys there...

Then look at the date of the info that you research and then check it thoroughly... When you are asking basic, general questions, you are getting feedback based on personal experiences versus a broad range of experiences... The sauna boys go where the money is....if they can make more money at a certain sauna, that is where they are going to go especially since they all have to pay an entrance fee... The last time I was at Pointe, there weren't very many guys there at all and the time before that I did see a Black Brazilian working in the sauna... 117, the few black guys who I have seen in there are extremely well know because they are all, with the exception of maybe one with a huge dick and just regular looking, extremely good looking...Like model looks and amazing bodies...There are two that are consistently in 117 that are BEAUTIFUL...By Brazilian and American and European and just about everybody elses standards

I tend to go to Brazil during major holidays or tourist events and have noticed that when I have been on non holidays a few differences... During New Years and up until Carnival, there are a lot of guys working in the sauna that do not work there year round... When there are a lot of tourists in town, the money is great and there is LESS competition since the locals and tourists make the saunas full! I have been getting messages from some guys I keep in contact with that the money has slowed down a little bit since the major holidays are over...Not sure if this is a cry for me to send money or is the actual truth... I see a lot of locals and regulars when I go to the saunas and see them no matter what time of year I am there... Ill find out how things are when I go next month... Another thing that I have realized, while many of the boys can go get jobs doing other things....The money made in saunas is very significant... One boy told me that he makes about 4500R per month in the saunas...that is very, very good money by Brazilian standards and would make him considered middle class if he is making that on the regular.... The typical police officer makes much less than that...

My Opinion....And not pissibly...SMile Monday-Meo Mundo 117-Sunday thru Saturday Pointe is HIT or MISS depending on what is going on...Wednesday is good but 117 is consistently good

Honestly I feel Brazil as a whole...or at least the cities I have visited caters to foreigners... Brazil is one of the few countries that I have visited that actually lives up to many of the stereotypes of the country....Although it is not the majority, it is definitely a country where there is a high level of sexual energy, the people are friendly and accommodating, Brazilians party and celebrate like no where else I have been... I can always give my thoughts based on my own experiences but they are going to be vary greatly because I am not the dominant make up of this blog and its followers....

Who does the Brazilian sauna scene cater to?

I would love to get some feedback from the guys who frequent this site... Who does Brazil...Rio...SP and other cities cater to? I love the country, culture and people and have been traveling to Rio for the last 10 years but... I enjoy reading most of the posts but get the feeling that I am not the typical guy from this site that travels to Rio....based on the comments.... I would love to find out who each of you thinks Brazil caters to....

You can take your regular camera to the tourist destinations but be careful as you will look like an easy target...

Take into account that you may get special treatment because of how much you spend and how often you go... In December, one of the guys I hired who had a problem with bottoming from the get go go upset after I took photos of him after being in the room for 10 minutes and already taking photos....at the front desk, Monica point out the signs that say no photos/cameras... Just use discretion and your best judgement... There are always rules to the exception but if you are not on Tomcal status, just ask to make sure it is okay...

No cameras are allowed in the saunas....you would want to use discretion when you are taking photos and I can pretty much guarantee they will veto you taking videos inside the saunas....

I do not suggest taking a camera to the beach....that would definitely get you into trouble... The art of using a cell phone is people do not know you are taking pics... As far as best time and day...it depends on when you are in Rio...I was there for New Years so every day was packed and the weather happened to be great...

Love the city so much I have planned a trip in February to go see my "boyfriends" that live there... The one guy I love from the sauna and the one who lives in Copa.... If anybody runs across ticket prices, please keep me posted...I need to stock up for 2017.... New Years 2018, A LONG WAY AWAY, is going to be EPIC.....

Good luck with the pics...Most of the guys will not allow you to take face pics of them....some will definitely allow you to take body pics... Great job on learning some Portuguese...that should definitely help....

Good observation...I have seen a few that have been working for years and then I have seen some only one or two times in the saunas... Interesting is the one who are gay that I see outside of the saunas, beaches, bars, Lao..those I clearly know they just realize they make more money in the saunas than they could in many industry jobs...

Rios sauna scene continues to be a heaven for older, whiter gentlemen who adore young, Latin guys... I went to 117 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday....they were closed Saturday and I would bet that Sunday was extremely packed... Weather was in the mid 90s during my entire trip...PERFECT beach weather... Rates increased with most boys asking for $150R initially and a few staying with that asking price...most accepting $120R or $120R... I get the whole service for pay scenario but couldn't help Thanking God I have other options and wondering if many of the boys work there for ease of money, necessity or because it pays better than other service industry jobs ...No judgement...Just observations... Clients are mostly older, whiter gents ranging from mid 40s to 70s with a few Euopeans and Canadians in the mix and a few African Americans, who stand out, including myself....Goratos range from 18, 19 to early 20s and early 30s with a few OLD guys who I have seen for years that need to retire but maybe still somebodies taste... -Tuesday was extremely packed with boys and clients....free locker night... -Wednesday-packed but not as crazy as Wednesday....a lot of the same boys....a lot of the same clients who I have seen on the regular and maybe this is their social club -Thursday-packed again, more clients and boys than Wednesday....I think the holidays had a lot to do with that... -Friday was extremely package, hard to walk around....got there around 6:30 and left around 8:30...Way too much going on... I tend to stick with the same guys I like...one from October, extremely hot lighter skinned latino with an amazing ass and is resourceful enough to use Whatsapp and a translation app... Met a very, very hot muscular guy with red hair, naturally red hair...great ass, amazing body and definitely not a type that I would find often in the states Overall-117 continues to be the go to place for locals and visitors, friendly staff, clean, professional with a great assortment and variety to satisfy all requirements... Rio is still my favorite city on earth thus far, I appreciate and love it for what it offers...the dirty, trashy, beautiful, helpful, luxury, high end, the beaches, the culture, the boys, the girls, the food, the energy....All that Rio offers....
