  1. Ill pass..not my type...I have got lucky on Grindr 2 times on my past trips and try to limit going to the gay areas...I get harassed by the twinky Thai gays
  2. Ill say this and be done with this matter... I have no prejudices about Brazil dude...I love the country as a whole...Not just the white Brazilians The area you are in does indeed have a lot of white upper and middle class Brazilians and it also has a lot of tourists that stay in that area...that wasnt the point Brazil is a mixed country in South America not Europe I read, travel and analyze thoroughly what is told to me in textbooks....it will always be skewed based on the target audience So Irish people are the only people in Europe or the world who have a hard time tanning? I didnt see a lot of naturally tanned Swedes in Sweden or Germans when I was in Berlin or Russians in Moscow....Tanning has nothing to do with natural skin color dude.. Maybe look at these two articles https://wuhstry.wordpress.com/2011/07/20/the-impact-of-the-moors-in-spain/ http://www.blackhistorystudies.com/resources/resources/15-facts-on-the-moors-in-spain/ You cant found an existing country but you can name it...Brazil was already Brazil with people in the country prior to be colonized by Europeans....And Brazilian society, like most countries that were colonized, was already developed. It was the white Europeans who acted on their own interests....well you know the history of how that turned out throughout the world#Wakanda What Brazil did- Blanqueamiento was circulated in national policy throughout Brazil in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Blanqueamiento policies emerged in the aftermath of the Abolition era and the beginning of Brazil's first republic (1888–1889). In order to dilute/dissolve the black 'race', Brazil executed public measures to increase European immigration, where more than 1 million Europeans arrived in São Paulo between 1890 and 1914. The state and federal government funded and subsidized immigrant travels, where immigrants arrived from Portugal, Spain, Italy, Russia, Germany, Austria, France and the Netherlands. Im African American...I dont think I can even be racist....I AM Pro Black....Black Latino, Black European, Black American...you get it.... Prejudice refers to a positive or negative evaluation of another person based on their perceived group membership. Racism on the other hand refers to social actions, practices or beliefs or political systems that consider different races to be ranked as inherently superior or inferior to each other. What you can do is solicit some of those upper/middle class white Brazilian guys in Ipanema and see if they are interested in you...Your problem of lack of them in the saunas has now been fixed! Capisce
  3. "White is mostly about facial structure, not skin color"....In what universe is this?? While there are definitely dark complexioned Caucasians, it usually has more to do with their country of origin, ie, swarthy skinned Spaniards or Italians...who also had a lot of help from the Moors that helped refine and build many of their cities....Google for reference And there are lighter complexions Black/African people, some even with blond hair and blue eyes, they would still be considered African, Afro Latino, Afro Asian, etc. I get your point and your preference is completely cool, especially since we are attracted to total opposites... My thought though is as much as you love your type, why would you go to a country to pay for sex when the odds are not going to be in your favor for sex for pay since it is very hard to find those types to even pay AND in said country that type is a minority in general... You also see plenty of them in Ipanema because that is a HUGE touristy area where gay Europeans and well do to Latinos (typically white) stay and hang out when vacationing in Rio...
  4. Brazil was colonized by Europeans...the indigenous people were not white nor the African slaves who outnumbered the white colonizers... You having a preference is fine...My statements were why not go to actual places where your preference/type are the majority, especially since you have to pay (your words) and your preference is no longer as available an option as it in the past (your words) There are white Brazilians who you may be able to have interactions with if you are what they are attracted to...so you wouldnt have to pay
  5. Where is SuperA, what type of club/bar is it and what type of guys are there? In BKK next week and interested in checking out places I haven't visited before Thanks in advance
  6. While 80 percent of the country’s one-percenters are white, Brazilians who look black and mixed-race make up 76 percent of the bottom tenth of income earners. They earn, on average, 41 percent less than their white colleagues. They are also disproportionately represented across the country’s notoriously underfunded public school system. As a result, compared to the mostly white students who can afford a private school education, black and mixed-race Brazilians are less equipped to navigate the college admissions process. Only 13 percent of them between the ages of 18 and 24 are currently enrolled in a university.
  7. Interesting that you are into white bodybuilders but go to Brazil....Why not countries or places where there are huge number of those like Europe, specifically Russia or places with high percentages of Caucasian bloodlines... Brazil had he highest number of Africans imported into slavery....higher than any other country, even the US...Naturally those people have mixed and mingled with the indigenous Indians and the Europeans who colonized the country... While there are some "White" guys in the saunas...the vast majority would be mixed or definitely something besides "white" but American standards.... That said, pure white Brazilians have access to better education thus better paying jobs purely based on their skins colors...The gays that you see in Ipanema who dont have wealthy families or access to education for higher paying jobs have better options for maters/partners with higher paying positions...I know a few who have sugar daddies that also take care of them Things change as do people hence what used to be that isnt anymore... Maybe you can attract some of those "plenty of locals who are available but not for pay."...Since thats your preference..And these always Europe or those other places with exactly what you are looking for Found this on google.... According to the 2007 Brazilian national resource, the white workers had an average monthly income almost twice that of blacks and pardos (browns). The blacks and browns earned on average 1.8 minimum wages, while the whites had a yield of 3.4 minimum wages. Among workers with over 12 years of study, the difference was also large. While the whites earned on average R$15.90 per hour, the blacks and browns received R$11.40, when they worked the same period. Among the 1% richest population of Brazil, only 12% were blacks and browns, while whites constituted 86.3% of the group. In the 10% poorest there were 73.9% of blacks and browns, and 25.5% of whites. 13.4% of white Brazilians were graduated, compared to 4% of blacks and browns. 24.2% of whites were studying in a College or University, compared to 8.4% of blacks and browns. In 2007, 57.9% of white students between 18 and 24 years old were attending a University or a College. However, only 25.4% of black and brown students of the same age group studied at the same level. Of just over 14 million illiterates in Brazil, nearly 9 million were black or pardo. The illiteracy rate among white people over 15 years old was 6.1%. Among blacks and browns of the same age group over 14%.[68] Almost half of the Brazilian population (49.4%) is white. The browns form 42.3%, the black 7.4%, and the indigenous or "yellow", according to the IBGE, only 0.8%. The region with the highest proportion of browns is the north, with 68.3%. The population of the Northeast is composed of 8.5% of blacks, the largest proportion. In the South, 78.7% of the population is white.
  8. perception becomes reality and all is lost.” What people perceive is usually what they believe, and this is based on what they hear, see and think. Most of the time we cannot control what happens but we can always control our reactions. Not sure why you were angry enough to curse or demean me based on me saying that somebodies feedback was long, hard to understand based on their writing style and compared then to another guy who posts long and hard to follow posts as well... But I definitely dont want to anger the person who decides who can post or be a member of the forum so I will do a better job of checking comments that I post to make sure I am not ruffling any feathers and will take your advice and simply not reply at all... The End....Next topic
  9. Interesting questions... 1. Leave the cash in your locker...they have cameras and everything in your locker will be safe 2. Take an uder or taxi if you want but 117 is a 3-5 minute walk from the metro and the neighborhood is very safe 3. If you have to ask this question, use protection....why even risk your health if you are asking before you even get to Rio... I never have had unprotected sex in the Rio saunas (and would be leery as hell of any body open to raw sex) and as far as oral sex, never gotten anything in Rio...Most of the guys are very safe but not sure how much body fluid you plan to exchange, I would wrap it up to be on the safe side 4. WIFI is all over Rio and in all the saunas
  10. Now that I know this is Oz's website, Ill definitely watch what I type and how I say it so that I don't irritate him...Honestly didn't know he was the one running things...
  11. I 100% agree with you on this...the concern if somebody automatically feels a certain kind of way, ANYTHING can be received as negative....especially in an ocean of "positiveness and total agreeing..." I didnt attack the poster at all...But hey, thats old news Thanks for your feedback...I never want to come off as fake and contrived since I dont agree with everything everybody posts on here
  12. 1. Incorrect....the going rate is about 100R depending on how busy the sauna is and how in demand the guy is but that is the general going rate 3. 117 in Rio definitely has those 4/5. 117 is going to be busy most of the days since they have a dedicated base of guys who work there....Pointe will be busy on the free cabin night...Not sure what night that is 6. Incorrect....two Saturdays ago at 117 is was packed with about equal numbers of guys to clients...Keep in mind, many of the locals who go to the saunas regularly use it for socializing and meeting up with friends so there may be one or two garotos at a table with 4 guys are just at the table talking and looking 7. They provide all of those items but if you have a preference for lube and condoms, bring your own....if you prefer to wear your own sandals, you can do that as well...as far as towels, never seen anybody bring there own but hey, im sure you can My advice is to read more info on the forum because everything you asked here has pretty much been answered time and time again, pretty recently (maybe except for the towels and sandals question)
  13. "Give a man a little bit of power and he falls in all kinds of love with himself." - Booker DeWitt, BioShock Infinite
  14. Trash his reputation to who? The people on this forum are a very, very small minority of clients these guys have... Maybe if you are a regular and live in Rio so you can be in the saunas often and trash said guy but whats the point...Just avoid him and never hire him again...
  15. Demanding double? Maybe you did something to anger them or disrespect them OR maybe you were unclear on the actual amount that was agreed on... The demanding double just doesnt sound right from all the years I have been in and out of the saunas starting my own trouble...Demanding payment I have had, demanding double just sounds odd bro
  16. I had no flakes but I get it... I hire guys who will bottom for me...One mans bottom is anothers tops so I don't ask what they do regulary
  17. So felt the need to be rude back because you felt some kind of way....That is fine... Again, my comments were not meant to be rude but stated he was hard to understand and follow based on his style of writing... I never feel the need to be mean taking up for somebody else who didnt ask for you to do so... You feeling the need to comment negatively will hinder somebody else from sharing their thoughts IF they are not 100% positive and praising That is not how life works or freedom of speech bro... I will say this, as negative as you tend to be towards me, I love your quote from Brian Kinney....Its exactly how I feel and think about a lot of things Have a good one
  18. So why complain about the sauna boys....out of the 4 days I went, I only shagged one guy in the sauna...the rest of my snacks from from the streets and grindr.... If you are as hot as you say you are, getting sex in Rio wont be an issue at all, without paying for it
  19. How is the movie...never heard of it until today...It was made before I was born...it may be a good read.... Was it a book as well? Thanks
  20. Isnt there a term for that....Guys who are into father/grandfather figures sexually? I tried to google it but couldnt find the actual term There is a SNAG for every RAG...somebody out there is interested in somebody else out there...whatever the age, size, what they look like, are into...etc....
  21. I have heard guys asking higher rates because they were hoping the client would say no so they wouldnt haver to go with him... And I have seen guys ask for higher rates and actually get it.. The more you are seen and known from the saunas, they easier it is to get along and relate/deal with the guys that work there
  22. Or maybe he wasnt that into you... He is working and looks at it as work Everyone has a type...like what they like
  23. Maybe adjust your expectations and actually "court" the guy you are interested in for a couple of minutes to see if you get a vibe... Also, no offense but if the guy is just not that into you which definitely happens since they are WORKING, try not to want a boyfriend experience in a 30-40 minute session... Not all sessions are going to be ideal....I know this from experience but some of the things that went wrong, you would have known had you spent a little time either trying to talk or communicating beforehand.... If you pay attention enough in the saunas, you can get an idea of how the guys vibe...the ones who are clearly just there for money...the ones who are GAY...the ones who are just very hot but arent going to kiss or suck or want to hold you...etc. You being more selective is smart and if you are having so much luck on the apps and other places, just go to the saunas with no expectations...you can get laid other places in Brazil....
