  1. Thanks for the info, Bravo. I feel comfortable at Babylon in a towel. But I felt uncomfortable at Chakran with a hand towel and exclusively local crowd. I think you answered my question.
  2. @Bravo Thank you for your reports. You really live days to their fullest in Bangkok! So happy for you! Can you tell me what the crowd is like at Sauna Mania? Nationalities and ages? Just curious if I would feel comfortable there. Sounds like a BLAST!
  3. Wow, I just reread my original post and it's so ASEXUAL! One of my favorite things is reading the juicy details from your reports, and I totally avoided the topic! Is there no way to edit the original post after a certain period of time.
  4. You, @spoon, are a very lucky man! Two hours? I can't imagine what my wallet would look like if Bangkok was just two hours away! I would go every week!
  5. I got back from a two-week trip to Thailand and have felt a deep postpartum ever since. I miss the food, the street life, the boys, the sense of adventure, the shows, the massages -- all of it. In an attempt to soothe myself... I have re-read everyone's sexual escapades on the forum. I have watched every Thai porn vid on Pornhub. I've tried to recreate Thai food on my own. I've cruised the boys in Thai Town in Los Angeles. I've gone to the cruisy Korean spas, in an attempt to replicate Babylon. However, I am still missing Thailand dearly. Are there other websites, video sites, places you go, things you do in order to hold onto that special feeling?
  6. @z909 The room at Glitz was perfectly clean, safe and comfortable. It has a room safe and a fridge. The bathroom was modern and clean. Overall, there was some peeling paint here and there and no "extras", but they do provide free water daily. I stayed on the 4th floor, hence no road noise, but I had to walk up three flights of stairs. It's a perfectly sweet, no drama hotel. I think the people on TripAdvisor are straight, high-maintenance Americans who are used to staying at Courtyard by Marriotts. Don't believe the hype. FYI - The Le Siam is $60USD a night now when you book on their website. For me, I like being able to leave my room and be in the heart of the action within 90 seconds. I don't like being buffered by expansive elevator banks, and big lobbies, and layers of security. These two hotels suited my needs well. @vinapu I really like the setup at VCK Massage. You can have a drink at the bar and observe the guys for awhile before ever committing to a massage. (There are plenty of other guys there who are just socializing and have no intention of getting a massage.) I also love how they have so many "types", straight out of Central Casting - the nerd, the student, the football player, the fashionista, the bodybuilder, the gym rat, the aloof pretty boy, etc. You can cast your very own porno!
  7. I spent two long weekends in Bangkok this month and has a blast, per usual. I have received so much guidance from you gents over the years, and wanted to share some of my own experiences... HOTELS Le Siam Hotel https://www.lesiamhotel.com/ I love this little hotel. Great location - next to Silom Complex and just five minutes from the main action. Amazing food on the street outside the hotel. Clean, comfortable rooms. No issues with guests. Amazing breakfast. My new favorite! The Tarntawan Hotel Surawong Bangkok I needed to book a hotel quick and saw a forum headline about this hotel. Ugh. I should have read further. The hotel is very old and dingy -- and now it is being completely renovated inside and out, with constant noise and construction materials. I pre-booked two nights but left after one and got my money back. Glitz Hotel I needed something quick after moving out of Tarntawan and booked Glitz sight unseen. It's more like a hostel. Pros: Close to the action, right next door to Tawan. Cheap. No drama bringing guests back. So close to Prime Massage. Cons: No elevator. Sparse rooms. I would stay here again if others were sold out. It's fun being in the thick of things. MASSAGE The Prime Massage Based on the glowing review of @DivineMadman, I cannot get enough of this place. I go every single day I am in Bangkok. To me, it's the perfect combination of quality, luxury, professionalism, and price. I consistently have excellent massages. Sabaidee Spa This was a low point on my trip. When I arrived, the manager offered a selection of services. He said the body-to-body would include elements from all of their massages. I chose a guy named "Deeno/Deego/Diego?". Pre-set prices and tips were expensive. I arrived in the dingy, terrible room and showered in the filthy shower. The guy got undressed, lightly massaged my for five minutes, before rubbing his D in my A. Not being dramatic, it felt like assault. I asked him to stop but he kept going. I ended the massage early and left. Expensive, shoddy looking, and bad massage. Will not return. i quickly erased the bad memory with a massage at Prime. ;-) Magic Touch by The Tree https://www.travelgayasia.com/venue/magic-touch-by-the-tree-bangkok/ Although just a five minute walk from Glitz, this is a delightful off the beaten path, bohemian vibe-type shop. I had a wonderful, sensual massage with Mr. Diew. You can add the shop on Line and choose your masseuse from the photos you request. A fantastic experience. Would definitely return. SAUNAS Babylon I don’t care what people say, I love this place. Such a throwback to a simpler, hedonistic time. Guys from all over the world, all ages and sizes, converge for fun. I had always heard about the legendary Foam Parties, and I have to say, it did not disappoint. This was definitely the CRAZIEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE IN MY LIFE. (And I have done crazy things.) The courtyard is filled with foam, and guys converge to dance and play in the suds, under the stars. It was WILD! I highly encourage doing this at least once, just to experience it for yourself. It was the pinnacle moment from my trip. Chakran This is an upscale sauna that gets rave reviews, however I was VERY intimidated. The place is 99 percent hot Thai guys, and you have to be completely naked the whole time. I felt like an intruder — definitely out of my element and invading their territory. The “orgy” on the rooftop and being able to shower outside with a view of the city was incredible, but I have definitely aged out of this experience. I would choose Babylon instead. The highlight was the bar that overlooks the "corral" of massage boys on their phones, waiting to be chosen. Probably the hottest guys I have seen in the city. SPA Dahra Beauty & Spa - Silom https://www.dahra-spa.com/spa-services/facial-treatments/ I had spent two weeks at the beach and my face was busted. Based on Trip Advisor reviews, I took the ten minute walk from the main action and discovered this very luxurious spa. Reasonably priced massages and facials that were discounted 20% for low season. I had a one hour facial that was excellent for $30USD that would have been $200 in the states. I will definitely return. Overall, it was another wonderful long weekend in the city. I love the lazy feeling of Sunday afternoons in Patong -- just grabbing a coffee or lunch and watching people recover from the night before. I can't wait to go back!
  8. Many thanks for your thoughtful replies, gentlemen. I am about to do a deep dive on Google Flights...
  9. i just spent a few weeks in Thailand and am headed back to the U.S. I see a few flights that offer 12 to 17-hour stopovers in Taipei...Shanghai...etc. Any advice on which city offers the most bang in the least amount of time?
  10. Based on years of reading your posts, I stayed in the heart of the action last summer and saw all the go-go boy shows. Amazing trip. This summer, I’d like to try a new neighborhood. Any recommendations for an area that is fun for guys like us?
  11. I’d love to hear what you do for Thai-style adventures in LA when you’re not in Thailand.
  12. I went to Babylon last summer and it was one of the most erotic experiences of my life! The whole place is such a throwback. They don’t make em like that anymore. Like you, I found the dark areas empty. All of the action took place in the hot tub/shower/steam room area. It felt like what bathhouses must have been like in the 70’s. I don’t mean unsafe. I simply mean wild and free. I still think of my experiences there all of the time.
  13. I did it! I am nearly finished with my one month at a fitness camp and it was an amazing experience!!! I feel great and look better than I did when I was a teenager! These camps are awesome. You work out in classes three or four times a day and then you get to have fun in your downtime. I just jumped on my scooter and buzzed all over Koh Samui. I had lots of fun times with the locals, beach days, amazing food at the gym. Highly, highly recommended if you need a jumpstart to start taking care of yourself, or you just want to improve your fitness. PM me if you want details. I leave on Thursday and I have a 12 hour layover in Bangkok. I want to USE THIS NEW BODY! Any suggestions for a day of sex in BKK? Should I set up at Babylon or another sauna for the day?
  14. Amazing! I highly recommend it. I decided on a camp in Koh Samui. I thought I had been working out in the past. It is nothing like this. Intense workouts for about 4 or 5 hours of the day (where I am left heaving on the ground), but then I am free to go to to beach and relax and get a massage. I am one week in and I am already in the best shape of my life! 3 weeks to go! I also have had two passionate love affairs since arriving, thanks to Grindr. Thai guys who are educated, working professionals in their late 20s and 30's. As we ride together on their mopeds along the ocean, kissing his neck along the way, it fees like something out of a romantic 1950's movie...
  15. 350 for his drink 500 off fee 2000 for boy I also bought drinks for host and another model (who I saw at KFC at 2am after his shift. Awk-ward.) P.S Now I get why some guys have “budget days”. I blew through 500 USD easy on drinks and massages and boys and food in 24 hours.
  16. I walked by the Crowne Plaze today and smiled to myself, “Ahhh that’s where numazu stays with his membership points. Imagine all the fun he’s had at that hotel...”. Even though we’ve never met, I thought of you often on my first trip to Bangkok — all the places you mentioned in your posts over the years suddenly came to life! In fact, you inspired me to make this journey. It was every thing I hoped for and more. Thank you for your wonderful reporting and stories.
  17. I agree that we all have different tastes and this was my personal preference. Definitely not trying to upsell. Sadly, he was not wearing a number nor did I get his name. Only his abs linger in my memory.
  18. I have to be honest. I didn't even want to take him home. I had a drink with him, he was kind of a dud, and I sent him away. But I just couldn't stop staring at his body. Other than magazines, I have never seen anything like it in my life. He said he works out three hours every single day. The sex was only okay. But it doesn't matter. For 2,000THB, I can die knowing that I had the most beautiful body I have ever seen, in my bed.
  19. DivineMadman, just as I could never have navigated Bangkok without the GT forum, I could not have navigated the massage scene without your excellent compilation of reviews! Thank you!!! I went to Arena today and it was just as you stated -- pretty average looking guys with muscle bodies. No frills environment. This was my first massage in Bangkok and I would probably upgrade to a nicer facility next time. Afterwards, I went to Prime for a legit massage. I think it was the best massage of my life! Excellent, clean, professional business. Very busy, as you stated. The receptionist was taking lots of appointments (in English) on the phone. Luckily, they took me as a walk-in, but I would recommend an appointment. I took the next boy who was available - handsome, excellent technique, very sensual. Highly recommended! Thank you again, DivineMadman. You are doing God's work!
  20. I went to the Moonlight show tonight (Monday). About ten people there. The show was very underwhelming. Ladyboys and lip syncing and bad choreography (to Greased Lightning) The saving grace? I took home a boy with the most beautiful body I have ever seen in my entire life.
  21. Thank for the tip. Siamroads ended up having availability. I just landed in Bangkok this morning and Olay met me at my hotel. He helped me quickly get through all of my errands, as I am here only a short time. He was friendly, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and a delight to spend the day with. I wouldnt have accomplished as much without him. He helped me navigate the city and make a plan for the evening. 5 stars.
  22. In the Buddhist spirit of this country we all adore, consider asking yourself these questions before posting in the forum... 1. Is it kind? 2. Is it true? 3. Is it useful?
  23. Any additional recommendations for a guide in Bangkok? I contacted siamroads and they are all booked for my days next week. I am in town for only two days, and need help with errands. Thanks!
  24. JJ Green posted today on Facebook. It seems to be business as usual. https://www.facebook.com/jjgreen59/
  25. Thank you gentlemen, for your extremely thoughtful and wise advice. I will only be in Beijing for a few days and then off to Koh Samui for a month at a fitness camp! Very excited to say the least. I look forward to reporting on my experiences!
