Went to two normal pub/restaurants with my straight friends. 4 times massage at prime (yup, i am a massage junkie for sure). And for the tourist stuff, went to grand palace, emerald buddha temple, travelling by boat, walk to khaosan after for lunch and just quick walk along khaosan road, took boat to pratunam, jim thompson house, and then to mbk for lunch, bacc to visit their multiple art exhibition which are all free and very interesting as well, then make our way through the shopping complexes until siam paragon, did some shopping there. Went to chatuchak market for lunch. I might write a more detailed trip report later if i have time but this will do for now

Just to let u know, u can now use grab in hua hin. A major problem for me before is the transport, mostly monopolized by tuktuk which has 150 baht minimum, which is ridiculous if u are only going from hotel to town. They do have baht bus but not so easy to figure it out unless u did some reading on the route and can speak some thai to let the driver know where u want to go and take off

U can ask the hotel to remove the smoke smell by using their air refresheners or air purifiers. Ive done that before especially when i already asked for non-smoking room, and get get a room that smells. Not sure if nantra silom and the likes can do it but i believe most of them do.

Women nowadays are more independent, many have high positions at their jobs and earn handsomely. They were behaving very badly before, but i do noticed that nowadays they are now more well behaved and pretty much like the rest of other tourists in term of behaviour, no different than anyone from the countryside or rural area behave when they first arrived in a city. On the smoking, i am definitely against them, and wont be sitting anywhere near those who smoke, but if the bar does allow them, i would definitely appreciate if they at least separate smoking and non smoking area. Smokers have their right to poison themselves but they dont have a right to poison others.

Booked hotel, and now planning the trip on the touristy stuff. Any suggestion of tour operator to go to damneon saduak? Is it better to go on saturday or friday?
