The past few days have been spent in Chiang Mai, which I’ll get to soon but my last night in Bangkok (part 1) I didn’t end up going to any bars. I was feeling quite lethargic so I decided just to rest that night (sacrilegious I know..). I will be coming back to Bangkok soon so I’ll have plenty of time for more bar fun times. My first time in Chiang Mai and it’s quite a nice place, lots of tourists and expats here. On my first day I hired a guide from Siam roads and we went around Doi Inthanon national park, went to the highest point in Thailand (amazing how the weather is so much different at the top of the mountain - it was quite cool), looked at some waterfalls which were beautiful and also visited Pha Chor which is a really cool rock formation. So many steps up and down though throughout the day. I was wrecked by the end of it. The second day I walked the perimeter of the old city which took a good few hours as I had to stop 3 times when it started raining. The hotel I stayed at was DusitD2 which was quite good, it has a pool and gym etc but I didn’t check them out. This hotel had carpet which I hadn’t ever seen in a Thai hotel before, and it didn’t have a bum gun which was disappointing. But it was neat and tidy. I visited classic house a couple of times, massages were good, and afters were also good. Nothing particular earth shattering but enjoyable nonetheless. Coincidentally the 2 guys that I chose (on separate occasions) both had mooks - first time I’ve encountered them. Next stop is Phuket for a bit, then back to Bangkok. Tossing up whether to go to Pattaya first though..

No. 24 was trying really hard to get my attention when I was at fresh boys the other night (I'm sure he does it with all customers lol), but good to know this information for when I get back to bkk.

I'll start with coincidences in this post - firstly, I went to 7/11 twice yesterday (the one right next to Tarntawan - so handy) at quite different times of the day (one in the afternoon and the other after midnight), and BOTH times I bumped into the guy that I offed from Tawan on my first night. What are the chances? Second coincidence was a bit random too - whilst in 7/11 (the 2nd time), I saw a guy there who looked familiar (perhaps I saw him at the hotel or at a bar), anyway as I was going back to the hotel, so was he and he got into the lift with 2 guys and I took the stairs. When reaching my floor, said guy (and one of the other guys that got in the lift) got out of the lift on my floor and went to their room, which happened to be next door to mine.. again, what are the chances? Dreamboys: Visited Dreamboys again last night with the intention of offing my guy who I offed on day 2 (and also in 2019), I'll just call him dreamboy for ease. I arrived shortly after the show had started and it was quite full! It has a different kind of vibe when there is actually a decent sized audience, and a really mixed crowd including some women who were quite shocked/excited with the fucking show. It was really hot in there though. Dreamboy came and sat with me and after seeing me ogling the rotation told me that he is okay if I want to try another guy, which was a nice thing to say. He knows I'm a butterfly. He asked me who I liked, and I told him number 3 because he looks like a BL star, and kind of Korean as well. Anyway, back to the hotel we go hand-in-hand, walking past the guys at green massage who see me with a different guy every night, and we had a steamy short-time session. It's kind of nice when you are familiar with each other, like a semi-boyfriend experience. Other things: Have been to Chatuchak market, MBK and IconSiam and there are lots of tourists around, which is great to see things picking up. Also went to the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre. Also hired a masseur from the rentmen website who was slightly pricey but well worth it. My final night tonight here in Bangkok before I am off to Chiang Mai for a few days and have not yet decided where to go yet. Should I try new twilight? Or dreamboys/freshboys/hotmale again?

Freshboys: A good selection of beautiful guys here. I haven't been on the gogo scene for that long (my first time offing a guy was in dec 2019, and I just frequented massage establishments in the few trips prior to that), and my first guy I ever offed from a gogo bar was from freshboys - an enthusiastic Lao guy who did everything. He really really wanted to fuck me but I had to decline numerous times as he was quite big, and I had already been fucked earlier that day. I need a rest! He quoted "2000 up" for the tip and I gave him 2200 for an enjoyable evening. Made sure to get his line contact before he left. Pretty fun guy and nice end to the night. Food: I've been mostly using grab food as I want to eat lots of local food, but don't really know the good places for it. Grab is perfect for this as I can choose what I want to eat from the app and have it delivered very cheap. Most of the menu items are in Thai so I just look at the pictures to decide what I want to eat, sometimes I don't even know what it is but it is all aroy maak. Other places I tried include the highly recommended foodland (pretty decent), a Thai restaurant on Golden Cock street (I don't know the name of it lol) that I randomly stumbled onto (also decent), G's Bangkok (the schnitzel was average, however the bread and garlic butter was amazing, served on ridiculously large plates, and the owner circulates around and talks to the customers and at one point calling me a young boy - I mean I'm pushing 40 but thank you), a restaurant downstairs in iconsiam, and the hotel restaurant (ordered som tum 'mai pet' but still came out spicy). Later tonight I will go to Dreamboys again as I really liked the selection of guys there.

Thanks for all of the replies guys. Just regarding tip expectations, my last trip in 2019 I didn't discuss the tip beforehand with any of the guys and they were all happy with 2000 baht, which is why I didn't bother discussing the tip beforehand. I understand that inflation happens, and not being able to work for a while during the pandemic so I'm happy to go a little higher if required. I was in Freshboys last night and the mamasan actually told me to tip my guy 2000 baht. I think in future I will discreetly discuss the tip with the guy just so we are all on the same page. Will report on Freshboys later, and also wherever I decide to go tonight - I'm thinking hotmale as I haven't been there before, the new twilight or even dreamboys again as I liked the look of many of the guys there. On another note, I will be going to Chiang Mai on Monday and the flight has already been booked. Pretty excited as I have not been there yet. Agreed. Not every experience will be perfect (well in my case anyway) but on the plus side, it is always nice to spend some sexy times with these handsome young men. Agree - the better they make my experience, the more money I will give. They could be faking it for all I care but as long as it is believable and memorable, I don't mind too much! I've been in Bangkok for a couple of days now, and can I just say that it is so surreal being back after not being here for about 2.5 years. This report will be a little disjointed, reporting on various aspects rather than a day-to-day account of events. Hotel: I'm staying at the Tarntawan in one of the corner suites and it is quite roomy with a separate living area and bedroom. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, or should I say, a step-up shower as you need to step up quite high into the shower. The hotel is definitely showing it's age, but is still functional and located well. It is a little dark, even though I have 2 windows, and the view is not super amazing (but I'm not really here for the view). Arrived to a scene of a family of tourists that were going off at the receptionist, no idea why, but apart from that it has been pretty non-eventful here and the staff seem friendly enough. Massage: I've been to Prime twice so far, and it is top quality. Both times I had a 1 hour foot/1 hour Thai massage, which were great, but today I think I may not go back as the guy yesterday went pretty hard and I am still a little sore and need some time to recover. It is 500 baht for the 1 hour foot/1 hour Thai and I've been tipping the guys the same amount as the massage cost. The place runs like a well-oiled machine and smells really nice. Tawan: I went here on my first night, and to be honest, the guys at Tawan aren't necissarily my type (apart from that one 'smaller' guy) but I was curious and wanted to expand my horizons so to speak. I caught the 10:30 show and it was pretty standard stuff - lip syncing drag queens/lady boys, big cock show, fucking show etc. Some nice dicks, but it was a shame that they covered their faces during the big cock show. Anyway a guy came and sat with me near the beginning of the night and was angling for an off, and I decided to off him for short time after the show. Dreamboys: My best off in 2019 was from dreamboys and the guy was attractive, a little muscly but not overly big, had tattoos, and was passionate. We've been in contact intermittently on Line, just short things like he would send me a happy valentines day message and I would send him a happy songkran message, stuff like that. Anyhow, I went to dreamboys and immediately recognised him. When he saw me he had this big goofy grin, but later said he wasn't sure if it was me or not. After his rotation, he went and sat near the bar area (later he said to see if it was me) and I waved him over and he remembered me vividly, the good time we had and where I stayed last time. Anyway, he seemed genuinely happy to see me and was really affectionate in the bar (even kissing as well) and wasn't shy either. I watched the first 2 shows (there was one more but I was getting tired), and it was the usual stuff. The highlights included the part where so many guys had their dicks out, I was in heaven, and the fucking show was so hilarious - they just got into these really weird and ridiculous positions. I laughed out loud. There were so so many guys in the rotation that I could have easily offed though, and I possibly will. After the second show, we went back to my hotel (hand in hand) and if last time was passionate, then this time was even more. He loved to kiss which was great, and we even had a cuddle afterwards. I gave him 3000 baht for short time as he deserved it, plus he was sitting with me the whole time in the bar (apart from his section in the show), and I may see him again at some point. This is what I am after - experiences and connections like these. Made me forget all about the Tawan guy! I check out of here on Sunday or Monday (I forget now) and haven't decided where to go next - I'm thinking possibly Chiang Mai. It is good though to see that the bars are slowly returning to normal and I look forward to more experiences.

I have been waiting for the day where I could visit Thailand again, and in a week's time will be that day! I'm super excited. Leaving and entering my country has become quite straight forward, as has Thailand and I finally have some time. Applying for the Thai Pass was pretty straight forward, and even though I know it won't be required anymore from July 1, I will be arriving a few days beforehand. Starting and ending in Bangkok, I'll be keeping it flexible for 3 weeks and probably will visit Chiang Mai and Phuket too. The last time I was there was in December 2019, just before the pandemic, and I have been itching to go back for so long. Anyway, trip report to come at some point, just wanted to share my excitement!

I stayed at the Raya back in 2019 and quite liked it. The rooms were spacious, and the location is convenient. The only drawback (for me) was crossing Surawong Road.. there just seemed to be an endless stream of traffic and it was difficult to cross. I can't remember what sort of room I booked but I had a window, and a balcony. Not sure if it was meant to be used as a balcony as I had to climb out the window to use it, but it was there nonetheless.

Some which I enjoyed (and are in the vicinity) include: Northeast Lon Lon I was going to say Tonkotsu Kazan Ramen but it's permanently closed on google maps Mango Tree is always nice, albeit a little pricey

I loved the Raya when I last stayed there, however I absolutely hated crossing Surawong road! When I eventually get to Bangkok again, I will stay on the other side of the road! 😅

4 Massage is great! I went there a couple of years ago and had a lot of fun with a couple of the guys there. Glad to hear they are still open. Agree about the transport. There was a 'smart bus' last time I was there that ran the length of the west coast from the airport, not sure if it is still running but from memory I think it was under 200 baht, and I think it also accepted rabbit cards. The bus stops were limited though and I ended up walking about 10-15 minutes with my suitcase to my hotel. Fun times though and I hope to return at some point in the future.

I'm planning to get the new iPad Pro and am pretty excited - I'm still using an iPad 2 which I bought in 2011! Apple devices last for ages if you look after them, and my iPad 2 is still going strong but it's just very slow (plus I need a bigger screen).
