Even though it was a Tuesday night, Dreamboys was busy. Not full but filled with big spenders occupying 4 private booths who order bottles. There was a birthday cake with many candles brought to one of the big spenders. Another big spender came in with a guy from another bar. Also a young Japanese couple and the Jap lady was enjoying herself. She even went on stage to dance with diva ladyboy. Seated near me were 3 Chinese customers who eventually left with 2 guys and both were the same type - fair skin, thin, with sharp features, very Korean. Dreamboys has a selective of all sorts of guys to cater to wide range of customers. I won't be surprised that it might be the most profitable among the big 3 (the others being Jupiter, Moonlight).

2nd day of reopening 25 customers, mostly Asians, only 3 farang Around 15 guys working. Many nice toned bodies. Bodybuilding competition soon? No twinks. Waiter is cute though. Show started at 10.35pm. 3 diva lip synching. One guy had solo candle wax performance. A bit of SM with two guys in leather gear. 1st show ended at 11.15am. I didn't stay for 2nd show as going for supper. I cannot say for certain if the show has toned down or not. Might go again.

No queues to enter Beef last night when I passed by soi 6 but maybe because it was early at 9.30pm. I visited Dreamboys primarily to watch the coyote dancing which opened the first show at 10.30pm. and 3rd show at midnight. 40 plus guys when I entered. By 12.15am when I left, only half standing on stage. Some were offed and the rest were seated with customers having drinks. Many customers came in groups. One group of 3, comprising 2 Chinese guys and 1 lady, had 3 Dreamboys with them.

I agree there's a wide variety but it's the same variety every morning. I would like to see some dishes being changed from time to time. I also get access to lounge and love interacting with the friendly staff. But lounge can get crowded on some evenings.

I used to stay at different hotels in Surawong area such as Raya and Siam Heritage but the moment I signed up for Marriot membership, I only stay at Le Meridien (to clock up nights). Nice rooms and great service but buffet breakfast is boring. Minimal change in menu. Sometimes, I force myself to forego buffet breakfast and go to Foodland Patpong for breakfast!

I won't say it's now damn expensive but it is definitely more expensive than 2 years ago. Guys are asking for more baht for ST and LT. Even massage guys are asking for higher tips. Entry prices for bars have also gone up.

Yes, the Thais are more accepting of katoey than the "normal" straightlooking gay guy. Their Pride Month activities seem more catered to katoey.
