  1. The new Jupiter 2018 in Soi 4 is due to open this Thursday 27 April. The stage is smaller but nearer to audience. I think I like this.
  2. I 've seen a TV program about BDSM and a male dominant said there are no female submissive want to hire a male dominant for money although female dominatrix doing a good busines servicing male subs. I wondered why.
  3. dupe deleted
  4. Isn't that what OP hurstwickham said on the top of the thread?
  5. Happy new year! Since Sonkran festival is a Thai new year. Show translation สวัสดี ปีใหม่ sà-wàt-dee bpee mài
  6. Let's not start bitching each other as I see it's a futile argument. You cannot change people the way they are. Otherwise the forum would end up like Sawadee where members spend 90% of time expressing how they dislike each other or hunting trolls. Let's concentrate on an important subject i.e. Thai boys!
  7. Some people prefer to stay at Mandarin Oriental Hotel and some like a guest house. Good for you. But offing Jupiter/Dreamboy/Tawan boys would be extremely hard for that amount. Some like to have more choices and long time off. Yes. a male escort would charge much higher than an unskilled worker in Western countries. Haha Thanks for the advise but I stick to my payment policy.
  8. I understand your feeling but remember he is not your friend.Although they don't charge hourly like Western counterparts they would rather go home to be with girlfriend/boyfriend or sleep in their own bed if you don't pay more for his overnight stay. In Bangkok, if you like a muscular guy, prepare to pay 3,000-4,000B for long time or even more if he is a star. Make sure he knows you want long time before you off him.
  9. Join 'Blued' Chinese social app and find out.
  10. It's great when you get free upgrade to Business class.
  11. Most infuriating thing about this incident is that they are digging up this poor old Vietnamese guy's past. Apparently he had been suspended a licence temporarily for subscribing legal drug exchage for gay sex in the past. So what! It's nothing to do with United Airline's disgusting treatment. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/04/11/united-airlines-passenger-david-dao-convicted-soliciting-gay/amp/
  12. For seafood, I also recommend Laem Charoen at Central World 3F. While Somboon- Suriwong and many branches is good there are too many Asian tourists to sample their world famous curry crab. I heard Laem Charoen is popular among local Thais rather than tourists.
  13. For shopping Malls, 1. Central World - biggest and not so overcrowded due to its size. Good selection of restaurants on 6F. It has 2 department stores Zen & Isetan. 2. EmQuartier - Stylish and relatively new. Consists of 3 buildings. Well designed open air water garden with a very good city view. Waterfall on outside building. Many popular cafes and restaurants on Helix quarter 6F-7F. 3. Siam Centre - if you are into fashion there are many Thai designers brand in this mall. 4. Siam Paragon- overcrowded with many tourists. Badly designed vast space without any concept. Avoid it's overpriced overcrowded food court. 5. Terminal 21 - inexpensive and tasty food court but difficult to get seats. Good selection of cheap T shirts. 6. MBK -Interesting place for newbie tourists. It's like a big indoor street market. You can buy/repair smartphone accessories on 4F. Good inexpensive food court on 6F. Taxi stand on the back next to Tops supermarket. Buying international brand or designer goods in Bangkok should be avoided at all cost. 20%-100% markup due to import tax. Just stick to locally designed products. If you are interested in rooftop bars - Sky bar @ Le Bua - Very popular because of its spectacular view but overcrowded due to movie Hangover 2 fame. 500B for a beer. Strict dress code. Shorts and flip flops will be rejected. Even a plastic shopping bag not allowed. waiter/waitress not so friendly. Moon bar @ Banyantree. Best roof top bar in Bangkok. Better atomosphere than Le Bua. Waiter/waitress friendly and if your boy wear shorts they will lend floppy long black trousers. Hilarious. Octave @ Marriott. shorts allowed. Cloud 47@ United building Silom. Relatively inexpensive and casual with live band. 5 min walk from Sala Daeng BTS station. Calypso is @ Asiatique so you cannot avoid going there if you are planning to see the ladyboy show. I would rather see Muay Thai show there to see muscular boys.
  14. Thanks paulsf. You are our own Soi Twilight correspondent! Or mamasan according to some forum members.
  15. With alcohol tax increasing considerably in 6 months be prepared for a drink price hike of some gogo bars. Dreamboy drink price to 550B? Also massage parlour service tax increases 1,000B per session. http://www.thairesidents.com/local/cigarette-alcohol-massage-parlor-tax-rise-6-months/
  16. 47 year old British travel agent owner gifted 33 year old Thai betrothal money of 1,000,000 B cash, 400,000 B cash equivalent of gold, and a diamond ring. Congratulations! http://www.thairath.co.th/content/909292
  17. "UK citizens made up 40% of participants ahead of other nationalities including the US." http://asiajack.news/2017/04/07/thailand-thinks-british-pensioners-will-pay-60k-20-year-visa/
  18. Drivers seatbelt use is already compulsory and subject to fine. New law enforces all passengers ( including a driver )in a vehicle should wear a seat belt. From now on I need to check if the taxi has seatbelt on the back seat and then ask if he uses meter. Of course that's if he doesn't refuse to take me where I want to go.
  19. Wearing a seatbelt is compulsory for all taxi/ van passengers from today. Fines are 500 baht for a taxi passenger and 5,000 baht for a van passenger. I must be careful not forgetting to do it as I use taxis everywhere. http://www.thairesidents.com/local/seat-belt-d-day-not-buckling-fined/
  20. For me the most memorable quote on the legendary Rush's blog "I fell in love with a bar boy" was something like " you have never truly lived until you wake up with a Thai bar boy's warm body." http://bangkokbois.sawatdeenetwork.com/category/dancing-with-the-devil/i-fell-in-love-with-a-bar-boy/ Numazu, welcome back and well said on the above post.
  21. Anyone saw this? Hilarious
  22. They much prefer to sleep with their own boyfriend/ girlfriend than with a customer. And many boys like clubbing with friends after work drinking, hooking up just like any office workers in the world.
  23. I disagree. I could be totally wrong but I am suspecting Dreamboys management is trying to create a cartel i.e. internal Price fixing that avoid their boy's undercutting each other and causing unnecessary competition and unpleasant working environment considering huge number of boys on their books. If management impose 2000 ST/ 3000 LT policy it's much easier for boys to reject customers request of lower tip too as Vinapu witnessed. It also protect a first time customer to pay over the top tip from an opportunistic boy quoting like 3000 ST. I think It's a sign of a good strong management. One boy from Dreamboy said to me that their boss knows ( nature of) boys and understanding.
  24. Xiluzer, thanks for the info. You have a good taste. #44's pole dancing movement is quite good although not as sexy as #74 of course. Haha It seems that many Jupiter boys are undecided about the move. The current Jupiter management seems actively recruiting new boys and waiving penalty for returning old boys. It would be interesting to witness the opening night in Soi 4 on 1st April.
  25. Mr King of Jupiter #20 was absent again. I asked mamasan about him and I think he left the bar. Or my understanding of " he no work already" whatever he tried to say to me. Oh well good luck to him. I saw Mekhin and #29 did an acrobatic show using ropes that was fun. It seems to me Mekhin succeeded the crown of king of Jupiter. He fronted 5 man dancing routine of Hot Chocolate " Sexy Thing" bath towel number which was always bossed by #20.
