Perhaps not every farang can afford generous tip but Chinese tourists just might be able to overtip much more than farang’s idea of reasonable market standard. At least in Bangkok since I have no knowledge of Pattaya scene, the majority market force is Chinese and other Asian customers so the tipping standard of gogo bars in Bangkok is up to them to determine whether we like it or not. I have seen Asian customers generously tip Jupiter boys on stage, tipping 1000 baht note to several cute boys or gifting garland of Thai baht notes. It seems that Asian customers enjoy flaunting money around in gogo bar these days.

I cannot take chills like Thais so I always ask ‘ Mai Phet’(not spicy) when I order somtam. This is my no spicy Somtam Thai at the popular Som Tam Nua restaurant,Siam square. I used Foodpanda food delivery service for the first time in Bangkok last month and it was great. I was browsing the app and found my favourite Yawarat street food shop selling Thai sweets which only cost 50B + delivery charge 40B. Moonlight increased entrance fee ( incl. one drink )to 400 B from 350 B this week. When I looked 400 on the door and said “ you put the price up. Last week 350 B! ” the staff said it’s only a little bit. And the 2nd drink is now 300 B

I am not trying to judge other people’s eating habits but every time I read about a great pizza place or burgers or steak house in this forum it really amazes me. I don’t understand why farang eat western food in Thailand. Thai food is the most delicious food in the world and Bangkok is the centre of great Thai restaurants. It’s quite understandable if you live in Thailand and miss your food you grow up with but if you are on holiday why they eat egg and toast everyday like if you are still in your home country why they don’t try boiled rice soup, kao man gai or somtam ? For me it’s a bit like you off a western boy in a gogo bar full of cute Thai boys after 10 hours flights. Thai food in western cities are much more expensive and often ingredients are not genuine. Perhaps people’s eating habit is much more conservative than sexual preferences.

I was having a late lunch at food court in Big C Ratchadamri after changing money at nearby Super Richa few days ago and spotted a Jupiter boy Toh first on the left and an ex Jupiter boy Chen third from the left eating at the food court. They go to the fitness club Jotomi on the same floor. Unfortunately they were not shirtless. Lol On the same evening I saw Mr Cheng visit Jupiter to see the Taiwanese customer. Probably he thought I was a stalker seeing me twice a day. I used to go to the old Jupiter2002 just to see him doing the pole dance routine and thought he was the sexiest gogo boy in town. The boys on the photo all go to Jotomi fitness club.

Mekhin was drinking heavily last night at Jupiter so I asked aren’t you driving motorcycle? He said no he is taking taxis these days since he still serving a ban from last years drink driving. He made a joke about an another boy who was sitting with a farang customer but wasn’t offed. Mekhin said to me jokingly he was not offed because the boy only bottom but the customer was bottom too. The non off boy was protesting “no! I am top!” Arguing each other. I thought it was hilarious.

Back to Laos? Actually I asked why doesn’t he move to Jupiter since Mekhin and Oud has made a successful move when he complained the business is slow at Tawan. He said “ I am not handsome”. I was a bit surprised to hear that as I thought all the gogo boys are super confident people.

It’s all about control. If the farang can’t speak Thai, that makes him more vulnerable and dependable to the Thai boy. I recently read the survey that Thai girls prefer farang s who cannot speak the language rather than farang that speaks the language fluently. I assume the same can be said about Thai boys.

I spoke with an expat guy who frequently visit Moonlight. He has seen Sunny offed by ladies but not male customers yet. He also saw Babe with a female customer eating at Taniya food stall after midnight.

Moonlight boy He is straight and only accepts off for drinking and clubbing by male customers. So he says.

I believe Jupiter offer 2nd drink at 200B too. Also Dreamboys offer 2nd drink reduction if I remember correctly. When Jupiter2018 opened drink was 250 and second soft drink was 100B.
