Last January at Jupiter, I saw hundreds of 20 baht notes falling down from 2nd floor seat to the stage. Waiters and mamasans rushed to the stage and picked up like piranhas. Interestingly none of the gogo boys tried. I have never seen someone using money guns at boy gogo but apparently Asian customers like using at girls gogo/karaoke bars.

Jupiter charges boys 1,000 baht per night penalty for not attending the bar on Xmas and New year eve so most boys would be there.

I forgot to mention but Jupiter got rid of shower show and put extra tables and chairs instead of shower booth on raised floor for better view. I’ve never really liked shower show there and I remember Van, the shower show performer used to complain the water is cold and freezing. Tam probably doesn’t like his hair gets wet ruins his carefully styled hair.

You are underestimating the boys network.My friend had the similar plan saying to the Dreamboy guy he will arrive one day later but when he was watching Jupiter show on the first night he received millions of LINE stamps of Cony crying!! It turned out a Jupiter boy who moved from Dreamboy in recent days reported to the former colleague “ your customer is in Jupiter now” LOL

It’s quite rare that you don’t see any boys from other bars such asTawan, Moonlight, Dreamboys accompanying customer in Jupiter. and of course I could recognise only a few. I saw a X size’s(?) beehive hair mamasan at karaoke time last month.

The above singer does some Justin Bieber numbers “Despacito” “Let me love you” “Sorry” and I like it. I don’t know about him being The Voice Champion but the girl in red dress sitting next did appear in Thai TV singing competition. I was shown the video of the TV show by a boy. On my last visit there, I did sang karaoke embarrassingly but waiters pretended like screaming teenage girl fans seeking handshakes from me . LOL, it was fun.

Thanks asnstudent for Jupiter review. Recently many Vietnamese boys joined Jupiter and there are more than 10 Vietnamese boys working there. My favourite Vietnamese boy at Jupiter is #23 Bi, ex Chef. He is very polite, charming and friendly. I suggest Dreamboys for next stop.

jason1975, I am glad you had a good time. Yes, After 12:00 couple of singers arrive and Jupiter turns into Karaoke club until 2am. Some regulars come after show ends just for drinking and dancing with favourite boys without watching the show, which I am sure they watched millions times. Many customers dances on stage with boys and it’s fun watching them. Especially Friday and Saturday nights are party time. Jupiter’s cute singer with Mekhin at a wedding party.

Yesterday a friend of mine received a call from Dream Boys boy saying the bar is moving to Patpong in February next year.

It seems Jupiter hired more waiters for high season. Their uniforms look good.

I have read somewhere on SNS recently that some China based hotel booking sites are selling hotel rooms that does not exist, unlucky customers tried to check in but being told by hotel the booking was not made. These hotel booking sites are not totally scam but hoping someone cancel their bookings, which are not refundable so that reallocate the room to the another customer.

I remember Tawan guy Phet said he doesn’t go with 2 guys. I saw him leaving the bar with two Asian gentlemen one night and I assumed he shared the bed with them. The next day, I asked how it went with the 2 guys. He said they are friends and not a couple, just stayed at the same hotel but different rooms so they went back together but he serviced only one of them. He laughed at my wild imagination.

Thailand has overtaken Russia and India as the most unequal country in the latest survey by a Swiss bank. Banyong Pongpanich, chairman of Phatra Securities, posted on Facebook on Wednesday the findings... “In 2016, the 1% richest Thais (500,000 people) owned 58.0% of the country’s wealth. In 2018, they controlled 66.9%, overtaking their peers in Russia whose wealth share fell from 78% to 57.1%,” he wrote. The richest in Turkey also did well this year even though the economy was bad. “The wealthiest people there control 54.1%, outstripping second-ranked India, which fell to the fourth from 58.4% to 51.5% is year,” he wrote. Apart from these four, there are no other countries in the world where the richest 1% controlled more than half of their countries’ wealth. The most equal countries are Belgium, where the top 1% had 20.1%, followed by Australia (22.4%). At the other end of the scale, the 10% poorest Thais had 0% wealth. Mr Banyong noted if debts are taken into consideration, their net worth might be negative. Meanwhile, 50% of the poorest Thais (25 million people) had 1.7% of the country’s wealth while 70% (35 million) controlled 5%. My Banyong pointed out the Gini index also confirms Thailand’s rankings. It stood at a whopping 90.2, where 100 means one person has it all and 0 means everyone has the same share. Marriott hack hits 500 million guests 30 November 2018 Technology The records of 500 million customers of the hotel group Marriott International have been involved in a data breach. The hotel chain said the guest reservation database of its Starwood division had been compromised by an unauthorised party. It said an internal investigation found an attacker had been able to access to the Starwood network since 2014. The company said it would notify customers whose records were in the database. Starwood's hotel brands include W Hotels, Sheraton, Le Méridien and Four Points by Sheraton. Marriott said it was alerted by an internal security tool that somebody was attempting to access the Starwood database. After investigating, it discovered that an "unauthorised party had copied and encrypted information". For about 327 million guests, the information included "some combination" of name, mailing address, phone number, email address, passport number, account information, date of birth, gender, and arrival and departure information. It said some records also included encrypted payment card information, but it could not rule out the possibility that the encryption keys had also been stolen. "We deeply regret this incident happened," the company said in a statement. "Marriott reported this incident to law enforcement and continues to support their investigation. The company has already begun notifying regulatory authorities." The company has set up a website to give affected customers more information. A couple nights ago, my friend spotted Mr Tam and Mr Fluke in FAKE club. They were with a group of customers, a Thai lady and guys. My friend who isn’t into muscle guys nonetheless said that standing squeezed between Tam and Fluke and feeling their hard muscles was quite heavenly. I am really envious!

I frequently tip performers to appreciate the good show or tip cute boys on stage. I like seeing customers tipping in gogo bars as I think it’s good for boys morale and bar ambience. And I believe boys do remember you when tipped. Once I tipped a tall handsome guy at Dreamboy and 6 months later when I was walking soi Twilight the same guy walked past smiling at me clearly recognised me from the tipping.

As far as I know, Jupiter and Tawan boys don’t receive a cut from bottle opened.They just like free drink. When the show ends at Jupiter on quiet day, boys would gather around the table of the customer with a bottle. You will find the boys suddenly very friendly just because they want a drink or two, need to kill time until 1am clock off time. One quiet night last month I found myself surrounded by 5-6 boys including star boy Mr Arm, I just looked around and realised I was the only customer with a bottle opened. LOL.
