Misterbnb.com: The Gay Equivalent to Airbnb

Now, to be fair renting a room in anyone's house and expecting to bring back an unregistered stranger is a bit much. -
Misterbnb.com: The Gay Equivalent to Airbnb
paborn replied to axiom2001's topic in Latin America Men and Destinations
Hey, you were right to post. Information is vital to the success of our visits anywhere. Even discovering that we are not fully informed allows for us to become better informed via this process. -
That's interesting. However, as jaded as I am I can't imagine not finding someone I like in their stable. Some of the Brazilian boys were forced out of Brazil because their beauty was to much for the other boys! Yes, I exaggerate but they have always had a lovely group.

Misterbnb.com: The Gay Equivalent to Airbnb
paborn replied to axiom2001's topic in Latin America Men and Destinations
Actually, I wanted to like Mnbnb just on Gay general principles. But, in double checking Santo Domingo I found few options, mostly hotels to fill out their listings and no real reason to support hem. Airbnb is cheaper, better presented, better offerings and ease of use. I wanted to use it because I assumed that anyone who listed their property on a Gay site would not have issue and while that's true the paucity of offerings just makes it hard to support. Now, I have warned here that if you rent in a family condo complex and plan a stream of visitors then use a gay hotel or Mrbnb. Otherwise, Airbnb is a hands down winner. -
I didn't hear her reference to Soi Twilight.

July 7 -8th - as it starts around 2pm in the area of the colonial zone and the Malecon ( road by the seaside of town ) and goes on all night. Your 2 guests a day is what i'v been referring to with issues about a stream of guests in a family type condo residence.
-
I would not give up. Twilight soi was once the one bar. As the bars came, places to feed the customers with seating to watch came. Let the customers come an entrepreneur will likely follow

I plan mine around the "availability " of cock and worry about size later. Frankly, I don't want or need to decorate it with ribbons and dance the MayPole - a mouthful of savory warmth is very nice - just want to make sure I can find that morsel.

It's been reported in other threads here and in US government reports that the fuss over the deaths in the DR are way over played. With over 2.5 million visitors a year there are always a certain number of deaths. Some people do, actually, party to death. The actual rate has shown no increase and both Mexico ( which I love ) and Jamaica have much higher per 100,000 visitor rates. I've yet to see a place in the city that did not have good security - remember - when you're not there they still have one or more Tvs, kitchen equipment, etc. However, bring back two or more bruisers you don't know and it's on you. One thing that really must be considered is the type of residence. A condo in a building with working people and children living there will notice an en bless stream of visitors. Just choose wisely. The place I sent you next to Dumbo's is I think expecting such visitors and is well priced. I have not stayed there yet but plan to check it on next trip.

Just curious, you keep posting COP , what is that? I always see DOP for Dominican pesos. Using COP twice leads me to think you're not mistyping.

Re-read Divine Madman's comment and think of it as reverse engineering but remember that kind" includes generous.

I'm finally stumped I have no idea where this might be. Can you be a little more descriptive about how to get there from Paco's?
-
This is very good indeed. I do , however, limit my note taking to the same trip - going only once a year limits my resets as boys change. I would comment : 400BHT spent on a drink to find that a guy is not compatible is money well spent and saves you at the end of the night.

DICK-stractions in Santo Domingo
paborn replied to BlkSuperman's topic in Latin America Men and Destinations
Ah, SolaceSoul, I know I'm right when I agree with you. I post opinions - you do the work! -
I know I'm late to this but I wanted to get my feelings win record. I've been in Bangkok during political unrest and the Thai, well- they do a nice coup. I never felt unsafe or had to hole up in my hotel. Having said that if the army ever turns on the Palace or the Temples - run. Screw the airports run for the nearest border. If the King and Songha are fine - sp are you - just politics.

Yes, please go to the forum indicated. One area with bars is under development and places have relocated. You really need the latest as any other guide and most sites are woefully out of date the Gay Thailand forum is up to date and reliable. Hey, I post there it has to be good!

DICK-stractions in Santo Domingo
paborn replied to BlkSuperman's topic in Latin America Men and Destinations
Exactly, I have been following this closely and the deaths were concentrated in a few all inclusive resorts. It's not a war zone - are you perfectly safe? No, but there is no place that you are so go and have a great time. -
I agree with Vinapu. I'm a tipper but a Mamasan who is intrusive gets nothing. Actually, I have had few problems with them as I have a firm policy of ignoring anyone I don't invite over.

Thank you lucky! I've been absent for months - just lurking because my January trip was so bad to Jomtien that I thought I would never be back, I was kidding myself. Even if Bangkok is a habit, it is a habit of thirty years. You make the honest point I have always made - It is hard and very expensive to get entertainment like this in the US. When I started my Bangkok habit there were, in fact, only a few bars like Twilight and My Way, Barbiery, Tawan, Golden Cock and a few long closed. The venues available are already around the same as my first trip. These reports are very encouraging.

I'm taking you at your word and signaling my appreciation. Although. there is a certain air of sarcasm in the phrasing. I hope not. -
Trump Bans Most Travel To Cuba
paborn replied to sanddunes's topic in Latin America Men and Destinations
I totally agree. I live in South Florida and through some volunteer work I know, at least casually, a very large number of Cubans. They are solidly republican even the middle aged. Yes, the young are changing but the one's changing are in High School. I do 30 day hides on 1/2 my Facebook friends. It's amazing. As long as there is a Castro alive they want vengeance . The people I'm speaking of were the aristocracy of Cuba and they lost a very great deal and the hate lingers. They want no one going to Cuban and spending money. -
Does this article make you proud of America?
paborn replied to mvan1's topic in Latin America Men and Destinations
Nothing the current administration does makes me proud. Why even write a law that, while trying to clean up a ness, reads only "under 18" why?
