Important security issue you should all be aware of : your password is not encripted on this site, so Michael and any other person who has access to the database, can read it. In other words : any hacker will have access to your email / password combination. How is it possible in 2019 to take such risks as website owner ? Not sure at all I will remain member.

Thank you Scooby for all the work during many years

Good luck, and Happy New Year!

For me, the best restaurant western style in Pattaya is Poseidon on the corner of the Jomtien Complex. I go there several times a week and it's always delicious. Chef Bart from The Netherlands is a nice guy and knows how to cook.

Thank you for this excellent report!

Most of us are single travellers. I always book a double room, which has no additional cost compared with a single room, to be able to invite a guest. Depending of course on your budget, I suggest Raya Surawong hotel in Bangkok and Agate Hotel in Pattaya (Jomtien Complex). When my plane arrives in the morning, I start my trip in Pattaya and end it in Bangkok. When my plane arrives in the afternoon/evening, I start my trip in Bangkok and end it in Pattaya.

My favorite Cambodia boy is now a friend on Facebook. We keep in touch on Facebook Messenger. Always there when I tell him I'm in LOS. Another boy now has left his bar, but I'm still in contact on Grindr. Did not meet him last time, as he doesn't log in often.

I'm negative, not on prep and not considering bareback. I'll stick with condoms for anal sex. As I'm "only" 45yo, I don't want to get HIV and prefer to reduce the risk of other STDs.

I went to Vietnam this month exclusively for tourism. I opened Grindr a few times in Hanoi, and was contacted by a number of masseurs and MB.

Yesterday evening no shortage of cute boys at all in Jomtien Complex.

How do you decide which massage shop to enter?
stijntje replied to abidismaili's topic in Gay Thailand
The situation is different in Pattaya and Bangkok. In Pattaya, I walk pass all massage shops in Jomtien Complex and make my choise afterwards. In Bangkok, I choose the massage shop and pick the best masseur in that shop. -
Happy - day 6 - birthday vinapu !

I prefer Raya Surawong. Stayed there during my last 3 visits.

Anyone found a massage shop in Pattaya like Prime Bangkok?
stijntje replied to JimmyJoe's topic in Gay Thailand
I think the blind massages from TBMI do not offer happy ending -
I'm thinking of visiting 1 city in Vietnam during my next Asia trip for about 3 to 4 days, both for sightseeing and gay fun. Which city should I choose?

Sunday 15 April 2018 Cambodia boy gets a call from his sister (where he lives when he is in Thailand) he has to return immediately to Bangkok as he has the key of her appartment and she returned from Cambodia holiday. Instead of returning with me from Pattaya to Bangkok in the late afternoon, he immediately jumps in a taxi in order not to cause trouble to his sister. Donn't like it, but I can understand it. I don't pay for that taxi. So I'm completely free to do what I want during the last hours. I decide to go again to Soda Massage to see the masseur from yesterday. Same routine, so this is the real happy ending of this April visit. Taxi to airport without any traffic jam, so I'm way too early at the airport. Tghank you all for liking my trip report

I will probably be impacted too as I have had at least 3 different numbers with them

Saturday 14 April Quality time with my Cambodia boy in the morning. In the afternoon, I want to have a massage so I give free time to my boy who wants to go to the beach. I notice a very cute masseur at Soda Massage, so I take a 1 hour session. What a price difference between Pattaya and Bangkok. Room price here is only 300 bath. Masseur from Isaan is very good and whispers if I want extra services. I’m interested and we agree on a low fee. Service was better than what I had in Arena, and price was only half. Customer satisfaction guaranteed! My boy has experienced the joy of Songkran and is completely wet when he returns. Evening dinner at Poseidon again. What a great restaurant! Boy wants to meet a friend who lives in Pattaya, so I give him some time off. In the meantime, I’m a bit on this forum and writing my trip report

Friday 13 April We check out the Raya hotel at 11:00 AM and the taxi I’ve ordered is already waiting for us. Trip from Bangkok to Pattaya takes 3 long hours, so we arrive at Zing Resort in Jomtien Complex just after 2PM. Taxi was hit a few times by water in Pattaya. Most of the times, a farang was leading the water fight. I’m happy Cambodia boy is now with me all day and night. Some might call it a boyfriend experience. We have a late lunch at Linda opposite of the road to Jomtien Complex and go to sleep for a few hours. Evening dinner at Poseidon, the best restaurant in Pattaya thanks to chef Bart from The Netherlands. We end our day in one of the bars of the Jomtien Complex. No alcohol involved, as we both prefer Coca Cola. No waterfights at all in the Jomtien Complex. This is definitely the place to be for Songkran haters

Thursday 12 April I’m tired, so we sleep until early afternoon. Say goodbye to Cambodia boy and tell him he has to be back at midnight and bring clothes for the upcoming Pattaya trip. I decided to go to Arena for a massage. Around 6 PM, I had a choice of 17 boys, a bit less then usual. Most were on the older side, at least in there thirties. Choose a boy from Isaan. Massage is very good, I leave happily but a bit disappointed: previous visits were better. Walk back to the hotel via Silom Road and Patpong Market. I buy a plastic bag for my money and mobile phone, but no watergun. Evening dinner in the American restaurant on the corner of Surawong Road. Very nice one. It's the first time i eat there. Want to go to Dream Boy, but is already full, so I go to Bangkok at street level. Not comparable, so I leave after 15 minutes. 500 baht not well spend… X Boys is fully packed also, but I manage to get in. Show is better than last time. Boys on stage are cute. Some Chinese give a lot of money to boys in the show. No sign of any Songkran activity in the soi, so I’m back at the hotel without getting wet. Cambodia boy will be late again. Maybe I should buy him a watch…

I’m on a business trip in Asia this month and I just happen to have a few days off, so I decided to fly to Thailand from 11 until 15 April. I don’t come because of Songkran but I don’t hate it either. I don’t come to get wet, I don’t come to keep dry. But no intention at all to be a nasty farang with a big watergun. Wednesday 11 April I arrive with Spring Airlines at around 5:30 PM. Walking to immigration, which took me less then 5 minutes to get through. So now for the first time in Bangkok I have to wait for my luggage. Take a taxi to Raya Surawong Hotel and I’ll have a full evening in Soi Twilight. Starting with evening dinner at Dick’s Café. Soi Twilight is very busy, mainly with Asians. I send Facebook message to Cambodia boy (a boy I already met during previous trip) I want to meet him at midnight, just as we agreed already for a few weeks. Hi wants to come immediately but I decline. I visit Classic Boys, but my favorite boy Rak isn’t working anymore. Change bar to see a show. Back in the hotel at midnight. No sign of any Songkran waterfight tonight. At midnight Cambodia boy isn’t there, so I ask him on Facebook where he is. Will leave home now. Not happy with that answer. Arrives at 12:45, and we spend the night together.

Will there be water fights already on the 12th? I was thinking Songkran starts on the 13th of April.

I like Arena too. Hard to find the first time you visit it, but certainly worth searching.
