  1. How does this work with income tax? You not live in the country of your nationality. Your country does not know where you live. Your clients send money to your bank account. Do you pay income tax? To which country? Thailand?
  2. What type of work and how you score new clients?
  3. Yes most families don't care. But Christian said his family does know why he goes. So this implies he must have told them about him buying many boys for sex. Then I want to know how did his mother reply when he told her. Because he told her. That is what he said. His family knows he said. So then it is normal to ask: how did they respond? Edit: I see I quoted the wrong text.
  4. I want to know the reply of family members when they hear why you really go. To rent boys from bars for sex. How is that reply? Is it a silent look, no words being said? Very curious. I have a problem understanding because of the many many people I know on this planet no one tells close family they go with whores frequently. As this thread proves.
  5. True. But you think he really tells his parents he goes to Thailand so frequently because he wants to rent go go boys and other escort boys for sex? Mother: "Christian, why you go again to Thailand, it is the third time this year, why not visit othger countries for a change" Christian: "Because Thai boys are hot and I want to fuck every day one so I go to pay for them in go go bars etc". Mother: "Ok, maybe better indeed then visiting other countries" The reply of the mother I have difficulty to think how it could have been. That is why I ask the question. So curious how she would have replied (if she really knows why he goes, what he claims)
  6. How did your work collegues and parents reply when you told them the reason you go so often is to pay Thai go go boys for sex?
  7. Not very professional of them to show their boreness and disinterest. If I were their boss I would say: "You do not have to come next time if you lack the professionalism this job requires. To draw customers you need to act interested and smile. Else give me one reason why I should pay you your salary? You are in the entertainment business, act interested, or you are fired".
  8. I think you mis-understand the topic. Most people on the planet will not out of their own free will initiate telling family and collegues they are a sex tourist. When they tell it is mostly when asked. Most however - when asked - will not tell the truth. Because of the taboo. Since Thailand is a popular sex tourist destination it is not strange frequent visitors get questions like "why you go so many times?". This topic is about: who then tells the real truth why they go so many times? Not many I conclude from the answers above. Only apparently a very few will then reply to their mother when she asks that question: "to have sex, to pay some boys for sex". And these very few apparently can not understand why the majority will in that case make up a story for her like "for the food, the nice people, it is cheap". While that certainly plays a role it is not the main reason for their very frequent visits. For me the mystery is in these 2 people here (or are it 3?) who tell then the truth to their mother and who at the same time can not understand others make up a story. I find it hard to believe these 2 people.
  9. Can you please tell me when you told your parents and colleagues at work you are a sex tourist? How did they respond when you told them the main reason for your frequent Thailand visits was to fuck boys?
  10. I think you misread the responses from people. This is not about being in the closet about being gay. Most are out of the closet I am sure. It is about being in the closet for being a sex tourist. It is maybe sad this is needed, but it is a big taboo. I don't know any sex tourist who is open to family and collegues about this part of his live. It is pretty standard to keep it a secret. I find it hard to believe you tell your collegues and father, mother, brother, sister that you go to Thailand as a sex tourist. I think even you lie about that when they ask you. Your father and mother know you are a sex tourist? Your boss knows? Really?
  11. Question for Numazu: so you tell your casual friends you go for the food, weather etc. You need to tell that a few times every year. That is what I did. But after a few visits I receive looks from colleagues that they don't believe it. They make remarks like "ah, boys and ladyboys". Why is it with you after all these years they believe you go for beach and stuff and with me after going only a few times I start getting looks that they don't buy it. Why do they believe you? And not me? You are lucky. And why not disclose it at TSA. What we do is not illegal.
  12. When you go to Thailand a few times every year your family and collegues will of course start to get the (correct!) idea you are a sex tourist. But many will not reply "I go for sex, I will fuck a few boys every day and then fly back" to the question "Why you go again to Thailand". I am out of excuses, basically don't answer that question anymore, just smile. But what do your guys answer to these recurring questions from collegues or family? I can need some tips. Another one: you think they believe your answer? Or is it a 'we know why you go but we do not talk about it' situation in your case?
  13. I also discovered it 2 years ago. Since that time I travel to Thailand 2 or 3 times a year (I have a job and can not get weeks and weeks of holiday). But I start to get questions why I go so often. They say "You go for the go go boys and lady boys?". I smile and not really answer. How is that with you? You start getting questions why you visit Thailand so often? And what is your reply? What will your reply be in 5 years? I mean if your reply is: "visiting monuments, etc", that becomes untrustworthy if you go there 2, 3 times year in year out. Or you just are honest to your family and collegues? You say "I go for the sex scene, score some hot boys from bars, fuck a couple of boys every day and then fly back". Is that your answer to your family and collegues?
  14. I don't say it is happening, I only say I wouldn't be surprised. And it is not a far fetched assumption. In fact I would be surprised it didn't happen. Like I would be surprised if no murders happen in a year in a big city. That also would surprise me.
  15. I am not nuts. I know there are criminals in the world and it is pretty save to assume Pattaya is a good destination for them to spend their crime money. Most people know that being gay in Arab countries is a death penalty if it is found out. Criminals also know this. If they see a gay person with above average income (a save assumption with most Arabs in Thailand, they come from gulf countries) who risks death if his home country finds out, they see this as an easy blackmail target. I fail to see why it is nuts to assume this is already happening. A gay Arab is stupid in my eyes if he doesn't think about this. He can not really complain when he is being blackmailed. Any intelligent person must see the risk. If I travel to a known high risk kidnapping area, say Afghanistan, and I am being kidnapped, can I complain really? Or do I get what I deserve for my irresponsible actions? Should people be rewarded for irresponsible actions? Isn't that unfair towards all those people who are more responsible in life?
  16. Of course criminal Americans etc can also be inclined to blackmail a rich gay Arab. I won't be surprised it has happened already. Big risks these gay Arabs take in Pattaya. You don't hear it in the news because these gay Arabs pay their monthly hush money.
  17. I understand for clients of prostitutes. They dont need a bar anymore. But if you are looking for a boyfriend in the Netherlands say, then gay bars are still a good place. Are there men who found their boyfriend via an app? The apps are for sex dates. But how to find a boyfriend without gay dating venues?
  18. You mean because of the high risks for a gay Arab to be recognized in Thailand by non-gay Arab visitors? So they stay away? Same I am wondering about for some time. Why do gay Arabs risk being seen in Sunee or Boyztown? Knowing the danger for them when someone back home finds out. Arabs visiting Thailand are probably from rich golf states (so not Iraq for example). So they have money. Easy blackmail target. 1) By Thai boys for example, who can threaten to post their picture on a large Arab website (so there is a risk a friend or family member sees it) unless he gives money. 2) By Farang tourists. Of course most people won't blackmail others but when I see the average hetero sex tourist, I wouldnt be surprised there are some criminals among them. They would see an Arab gay in Pattaya as a blackmail target. Follow them, talk to them, get their name, secretly make pictures of them with a Thai boy. Easy. Gay Arabs take irresponsbile risks by visiting Pattaya. I am sure quite a few European hetero sex tourists receive black mail money monthly from a gay Arab who took the risk going to Pattaya. Gay Arabs dont only have a risk back home, they also take risks in a highly popular tourist destination like Pattaya.
  19. I read in one of the threads here that female go go bars still have many customers, and that business is going fine. Many blame the dating apps for the demise of gay go go bars. But if that is really the root cause, why do these apps not effect female go go bars? You would expect the same demise there. The number of Farangs is higher for hetero sex, I know that. But still, you would expect less visitors there also. Are the female bars less crowded than before the rise of the dating apps? If not, then what is it that makes the gay go go bars go downhill? Why do the apps have consequences for the gay world and not for the hetero world?
  20. I read here the girl bars do well. So then our theory that the gay scene is deteriorating because of the dating apps is not true. Since there are hetero dating apps also.
  21. What an immense risk they put themselves in. If I was an underage moneyboy back then, I would have done the following: Secretly record your activites with the farangs and then ask for a monthly income from them for the rest of your life. Many will comply because better pay 20.000 baht every month to the boy who is blackmailing you then go to jail. If you have 5 farangs whom you blackmail this way you have an income of 100.000 baht every month. Year in, year out. I wonder how many former money boys live a life of leisure thanks to this. But probably many weren't smart enough to figure out the weak spot of their customers. The total shame for them if they were outed in their home country and convicted. I really can not understand these farangs took these irresponsible risks and got away with it. In a fair world you reap what you saw. Life isn't fair. Or is the huge majority now doing time in jail? If not, life is unfair.
  22. Please continu. What day in your trip is your date with that Vietnamese international prostitute (who charges about 500 USD for 2 days)? Would love to read about that.
  23. Finally its there! Please continue.
  24. How do they know where you go? I live in the Netherlands and when I leave the country I show my passport at passport control, but it isnt scanned or registered. Only sometimes they do that, but never with the boarding card. I just hold up my passport and show it and I can continue. Same when I return. So the Dutch government has no idea where Dutch citizens travel to. Unless airlines inform them? But never heard of that. Besides many people travel to Thailand alone, it is pretty common. Certainly if you have a girlfriend or boyfriend there. American law enforcement has a busy time if they check on everyone returning alone from Thailand. How do they know you are not a business traveller and need to go 2, 3 times for business each year? I think an acquitance of you informed law enforcement. Else it is very strange they just drive for you from Pennsylvania. Then they can make that trip multiple times each day for all the others returning alone. I think you have a friend who suspects you do something wrong.
