I didnt know teachers made 12 weeks of holiday a year? I must be teaching at a terrible place!

I've never seen these gay thai movies before, but thanks to your post- I've just finished watching 3 ,,, I didnt feel much from My Bromance, but I guess I like happy endings which is why I'm loving this one Love's Coming (G Thai HD: Extended) on YouTube. if you don't mind advising me, is it alright to ask if the guy is straight or gay? I was under the impression that they may say what you want to hear because they would want to get the business (money), so they may say they can do anything. Although, I'd prefer a gay guy because I'd like to think that he's also having some pleasure out of it and less like a job.

Tsubiboy, Thanks for sharing your trip. I hope to have as great an experience as you had. I'm planning my first trip there (hopefully) by the end of the year. Do U mind sharing more of your experience? I don't know why ... but im concerned my experience might be diminished due to my looks. I'm a gay Asian approaching my 40s. And not affluent but enough money to take a short holiday.

Just my personal contribution as a new poster and a newcomer to the forums but for me ... well, i had trouble understanding the very concise manner of his reporting and still don't understand parts of it. It may read as boastful at first but after re-reading it a few times I've come to the conclusion that I may have read the intent in error. I am, however learning alot from the numbers (judged estimate) because I can translate it over my own countrys' currency and determining for myself what I intended to budget or tip was outside or within my means of spending (for my very first trip to Thailand). Personally I found it useful to have a comparative, so thank you for sharing the information. On that note, 5000 baht for shoes, regardless of excellent quality would be well outside my personal expenditures for buying something on holiday. Nonetheless, all information can be of use to someone, no matter how trivial it may be for others. Please forgive any oversight or violate intrusion on my behalf with this post. I do not intend to create dissent among the forumites and I apologize if it has caused some.

I hope you could report or write your experiences. It can only help Im sure I have never been to Thailand before and I have gathered enough courage to go this year. Just need to get my research done, i.e. when to go and where to stay. I\ll be visiting from Malaysia too. I'd like to try out the massage places there to, as well as the local bar scene. Im excited but full of trepidation. Worried I'd say the wrong thing, do the wrong thing, not tip enough, not have enough .... lol.
