While prostitution is legal in many civilized progressive countries, it is ILLEGAL in Thailand. Yet sex trade and tourism add many billions to its economy. While doing nothing to reduce sex trade, the illegality creates a heaven for CORRUPTION. What a dilemma for the public officials who want to protect their corruption! Those bitter sanctimonious moralists should realize that by demonizing sex trade they promote hypocrisy and corruption by public employees. Instead of creating HAPPY ZONES, HAPPINESS should be a worldwide privilege. Sex made more safe by regulations may be less harmful than Coca Cola, which is free of restrictions.
-
I think that both the virtue in monogamy and the evil of polygamy are overrated.
-
HAPPY ZONES !!! Isn't this a great example of giving something a perfect name? The concept should be distributed worldwide to all religious conservative groups and churches to make emphasis on the REALITY of human life and try to rescue them from the sanctimonious fantasies of puritan doctrines that corrupt society!

Any young slim twinks around?

Do you satisfy with the boy you off overnight?
steveboy replied to manuelmendez's topic in Gay Thailand
It would be nice if the task of finding satisfying sex could improve as much as the technology of image displays... both in price and in quality... Maybe one day with "virtual reality" that is nearly as good as reality? A cyber virtual-sex machine that plugs into the USB of a computer holding a database with varieties of cyber-lovers? -
It does not surprise me. I am also a senior and I find that the chase for new bodies is less important with age. One finds little difference between one nice body and another. And so if you have one to start with you can be satisfied with a monogamy and save the trouble of seeking new ones. I find the same happening with cars, where I drive my 23 y.o. car with the same enjoyment as my newer one, and I feel more love for it, haha.

Oh, I don't care for the sexual life of anyone, I just wanted to relate Onlyserious fixation on monogamy with his admiration for a board member who I suspect does not believe in that. But if an experienced traveler to BKK and Pattaya like traveller123 can stay monogamous for 8 years, my admiration for him!
-
Have you asked traveller123 if he has been monogamous for the last 8 years?

Oh... it cannot be so bad, since you keep doing it. -
Your English is fine and easy to understand. I was married for many years before we ended in divorce for reasons that had nothing to do with infidelity. I loved her, but sex at the end was non existent. I am in a relationship for nearly 20 years with a fiend who started as "boyfriend" but evolved into platonic love, with all the benefits of an open relationship, and zero disadvantages. Infidelity is a main cause of relationships ending when there is an EXPECTATION of monogamy. Without this expectation, there is no reason why playing around should end a relationship. Are you in a monogamous relationship with your dick straighten? If so, you will have realized that dicks don't like to be straightened. Since I am not one of them, I can only imagine that there must be very few men who are satisfied being monogamous. By this I mean really content, not in a situation of making strong sacrifices not to have sex with others. But if it takes such a big sacrifice, there is the question of what is gained from so much sacrifice. Maybe is it to please a God and get a better place in heaven? Maybe to avoid STDs? These are the only reasons that come to my mind. The reason for being monogamous SHOULD NOT BE to please a partner who has been brain washed into monogamy, because sooner or later the cat (the dick) will escape from the box. In an ideal society, we should have the freedom to pursue the pleasurable activities nature has gifted us, like sex. If at all, righteousness should come from indulging in the pleasures with moderation, like I try to do by limiting the amount of chocolate ice cream I eat.

Many in this forum have beautiful points of view, and many have spoken in your thread here. Hopefully you have been Onlyserious to listen. Someone should start a thread "Love", without the "Thailand", because there is so much to say that is universal. Like a realization that sex and love have common areas but are not the same. In this days of deeper understanding society should give LOVE more freedom and abandon the idealization of monogamy, at least for men, and definitely in the gay ambient.

How could United Airlines have screwed up so badly?
steveboy replied to steveboy's topic in Gay Thailand
No reason to get upset. When I started this thread I never complained about a shortage of seats for whatever reason like overbooking, but about the way United Airlines deals with this, hopefully not for long. If the airline wants the freedom of the market, it should do it without harm to the other party. If they want to be protected by a "contract of carriage", so should their clients be protected too. And a simple way to do this is a guarantee to all passengers that if they have a valid ticket for a particular flight they cannot be unilaterally denied to take the flight when the flight is able to take off. (not cancelled by weather or other reasons). At that optimum level, both sides can be happy. In other words, if the airline has more travelers than seats, it must see that passengers VOLUNTARILY relinquish their place in the plane, and they can do it by whatever system of compensation works best for them. The number of passengers is high enough (usually over a hundred) that they cannot conspire and exploit the "voluntary" aspect by refusing offers until they are sky high. If the airline does it right it will always get reasonably bids, which will be... the lowest amounts people are willing to receive for giving up their seat and take a later or alternative flight. So firecat69, here is the opportunity for the sophisticated programs with complex algorithms to find the optimum level of overbooking: not too little overbooking leaving too many empty seats (even if in popular routes they may have passengers on standby to fill them) and not too high overbooking that makes them pay too much in compensations. -

I'm particular about being clicked on. I prefer to click with young Asian boys with gorgeous bodies and friendly smile. The practice of overbooking had little to do in this episode. It was not an "overbooking". And the more rarely it happens, the more the reason to have consideration to the affected passengers when it does. And I repeat: a more generous compensation in these cases should not affect the bottom line of the airline. -

It is "every ONCE in a while". My sentence must be idiotic to you because you don't understand mathematics. If they have to pay an extra $10,000 to one in every 10,000 passengers, this comes out to be an additional cost of $1 per passenger, so fares should go up by only one dollar. But I'm not sure if you understand this... -
One cannot argue with that. If you are satisfied, this is what matters.

WOW.... arrogance galore... If so, this means that paying this 1 passenger up to $10,000 in compensation can at most result in $1 more in ticket prices, not your "doubling of prices". Lot of BS about nothing. Hopefully you don't get cancer from radiation with all these million miles flown. -
Then you have some little work to do on yourself. Starting at the look of 77, visit the gym, the healthy food isles, the plastic surgeons, and periodically consult the boys to get lower estimations of your age, until they hit your real age. Continue that little work, by now a good habit more than "little", until they estimate that you look 20 years less than your real age. The satisfaction from this ls very large. And contrary to Abidismali's pesimism, you will get younger

It is doubtful that anything good would come out of that. I have done my share in life, and if I reach 80, 90 or 100 I will be perfectly satisfied. No need for more. If others can live forever, I will feel sorry for them. I suggest that you read an interesting book, worth reading: "All Men are Mortal", by Simone de Beauvoir
-
Don't worry, perspectives change with age. Like PeterRS expressed, once you pass a certain age you feel PROUD of reaching increased seniority and you like to give out your age to hear people say "oh, I can't believe it, you don't look that old". If you go to bed one night and don't wake up the next morning... isn't this the best way to die?
-
It may be better to take off those bandages before offing the young boys.
-
I'm sorry, you are right. Our life expectancy at some time is a function of our age at that time. The older we are, the further ahead the life expectancy moves. Too bad it moves ahead slower than our age advances, otherwise we could live forever!

In other words: " I have all the right to find you WRONG based on any stupid false reports that cross my eyes. That you don't see such false information is not my problem. What you need to recognize is that you WERE wrong based in these false reports, So stop blaming me for that, is that not plain enough for you? I am NEVER wrong, what sometimes is wrong is the source of false information that I am stupid enough to take at face value" How comical -

If you make this too obvious to him, he will put you on his "ignore" list. -
So you are now 77 y.o.? Congratulations, only 1.7 years left to reach your life expectancy. After that it is all gravy, all extra time that you are perfectly justified to dedicate 100% to the Thai boys

I second your observation, although what I prefer is an Asian boy, twink or at least a young slender one with baby skin free of tattoos, little body hair and zero facial hair.
