  1. Maybe you are fortunate to look as good as my grandchildren will when they reach your age
  2. Very true, with a note of caution. Proactive is good, but more is not necessarily better. There are some dogmas in the medical profession that can lead to negative results of over treatment. For example, high PSA.
  3. Of course your mother will look much better than these ladies when she reaches their age
  4. You do quite well at 63, and the wobble is good exercise for the legs. Just be prepared for any fall, especially when putting on, taking off pants. A good practice is to stand on one leg while holding behind the foot of the other for one minute. For over a decade I have been changing in my gym's locker room and all the guys sit down on benches to change shoes, while I have never done this. Ahhh... it feels so good to be 74 and bragging about these things... I feel so good talking about age related factors, but you guys must be getting tired!
  5. And he just had the job of President for eight years! It is well known that this job ages the person very much Bill Clinton was the same age when he ended his term, but he was fat and sick. Today at 70 he is slim but looks quite old. So a person without the stress of a presidency can look better at 70 than these guys. We can see how good Cher looks at her 70. Madonna is not far behind at 59. They both look great in jeans. So... it seems that age does not destroy, but our habits might.
  6. Kokopelli, I try to never make things up and here I speak from personal experience.
  7. NirishGuy, allow me to say that you should get a better perspective of age. Your "moment of panic" may have other sources than age. When I was your age, long time ago, I had just recently divorced my wife and I finally allowed myself to join the gay scene. No one did not want "to see me in jeans". I had the time of my life with gorgeous guys going after me and I never spend a nickel on paid sex. This is why reading ryanasia's comment the last thing I thought is that people should not see us in jeans because we are OLD. Here in the US I see every day YOUNG people in jeans that make me puke. And I see every day OLD people who look pitiful wearing other clothes than jeans. Therefore I think that association of JEANS with AGE is false. I don't wear jeans much in BKK because they are too warm, instead shorts and white t-shirts are my wardrobe there. Talking about age and the body, the most important factor to maintain with age is FUNCTIONALITY. And there is an amazing correlation between FUNCTIONALITY and BEAUTY. Try to keep healthy and a body well cultivated with good nutrition and exercise, and at 50 you have plenty of time to reach the 70s with the ability to get up from the floor and chair without using your hands, to pick up your newspaper by bending at the waist instead of bending your knees, to walk up and down stairs, to get on your knees to read the labels on the store's lower shelves, to put on and off your shoes and socks while standing on one foot, to run, to spend 10+ hours flying in economy from the US to Asia without being stressed, and to wear jeans while looking good.
  8. My judgement of samebb was based on the way he treated jfarmer017 in the thread jfarmer017 started. Short of personal contact, the only way one can make judgments is by reading, and we judge all the time.
  9. This you should ask samebb when he comes back.
  10. I understand. It is mind baffling to experience a burst of social justice. One thinks "shouldn't it always have been this way"? I hope to see soon in the US another jump in social justice: the legalization of so many "illegals". This may become possible after we get rid of the current American dictatorship and its excesses.
  11. I like the flexibility in this forum that allows discussions about Christian's underwear in a thread called "30 day suspensions". I cannot relay on my mother to buy my underwear because she passed away many decades ago. I am very bad at buying clothes and first I bought some briefs size 34 which were too big. Then my mistake was to by size 30 which are a bit tight, but oh surprise I like the sexy feeling of tight underwear, and I won't go back to loose ones. (please don't bash me, but I can find a conversation about underwear more interesting than endlessly reading trip reports...)
  12. Surely most people in this forum are more interested in boys than in cats. Have you thought why you let yourself be annoyed by a boy?
  13. LOL! I also could not understand what Ryanasia was ranting about when I read his post. He seems to be miserable because he is accepted now, can marry now, and people think his marriage is normal now. With his attitude, better that he never wins a lottery because he would commit suicide then...
  14. I can think of one of the "cats" who hasn't been meowing here recently. But my conscience is in peace, because he put me on "ignore" a while back so I cannot be the reason of his silence. Do you know of any public forum in this world whose members do not come and go with some regulars dropping out and new regulars dropping in ? Losing the benefits from the old ones and gaining the benefits of the new ones?
  15. Thank you Christian.
  16. Maybe you prefer to see us without the jeans. Thanks for the compliment.
  17. Good question. I may wash them once a year. Since I was a child my clothes have no reasons to get dirty, and I use pants with underwear. I only wash them to have them fit tighter, haha. They are good quality Levis 540 jeans and with 20 washes they are not ripped yet. I have an older ripped pair I use to work on my cars, and several newer ones of different styles. You also maintained your waist size, and this is good since you must feel comfortable this way. Bodies don't like to change...
  18. Cute! I like this "punishment". Compare this with the case of Sandra Bland in the US, a Black woman who was arrested for arguing with a policeman who stopped her for changing lanes without using the blinker, and three days later committed suicide in jail.
  19. I enjoy reading your reports and I hope you will continue with them. But if I were a person full of negativity, a troll, or something like that, I would immediately complain about the bitching over trolls who take over boards, scare off desirable posters, etc. One sees so much of this bitching recently, maybe in harmony with Scooby's change in rules. Don't you see that the bitching over the "undesirables" is equally undesirable? But be blessed in your freedom of opinion. I am merely giving mine, and to my benefit I still see much positive here and not only circular BS.
  20. For us who are not big spenders, wearing old clothes can be a natural. Some may think that this is being cheap, but there is a much bigger blessing behind it. Two pair of jeans I use casually everywhere are over 20 years old! When I was half my age, my waist size was 32. Today, my waist size is ... still 32. While most of my contemporaries have developed big beer bellies, mine hasn't changed one bit. I can look decent in any rugs, but they have problems trying to hide under new fancy clothes. It takes discipline to stay in shape, but it is worth any effort.
  21. LOL! Figured out 20 of the 23! How about that for a high dirt score?
  22. What are the attractions you find in Taiwan?
  23. It's all in the eye of the beholder, hehe
  24. Si el vigore va bene ...avanti con el Pene, si el vigore mengua....avanti con la lengua y si el vigore va nulo ...avanti con el culo. This will have to wait. Vigor endangered but still not dead
  25. In my humble opinion, the earlier this is through with, the better. I wish we in the US had plans for the cremation services of Donald Trump...
