  1. If I ever visit Screwboys on Nov 14th and get in a wild heat for twink Vietnamese boys, I will take all precautions to avoid being screwed by the boys, but if it happens like it did to the T.S. I will take it calmly with philosophy thinking that I have lost much more in the stock market.
  2. First of all and to stay on topic, I have to confess that the images of twinky Vietnamese boys like those reported at Screw Boys have the effect of throwing gasoline on my sex fire. I desire nothing less. So I find it sad that they deserve so much criticism. This is nothing new, since in my experience with them at home I find them more clannish, finicky and less trustworthy than other groups. Since the money for money boys is also in topic, I definitely agree with you that it is dumb to penny pinch in a vacation that is expensive on travel but offers such good value in intimate satisfaction. I find this difficult to avoid being addicted to frugality. I still have to enjoy the satisfaction of traveling economy instead of business, of staying in some gay barracks instead of a five star hotel, of walking instead of being pampered in taxis. But I now recognize the smartness of taking advantage of the high value in money boys, especially since I started frequenting this board, and I will recognize the high value even if I have to overpay (by local standards) for the circumstances mentioned in this and other threads. So many times have I come to TH with several thousands of dollars in my pockets with intentions to spend them all, and then returned with more than half unspent. No more!
  3. That's right! The baht revalued to where it was a few years ago. This improves my investment of a few thousand bahts I brought back from my last trip...
  4. I don't believe this soapy massage water drainage nonsense, but I wish they would have similar contempt for the water consumption during Songkran, since I had to put up been involuntarily drenched during this festivity.
  5. I never worried if Chatuchak market was cash or cashless, and I wonder is this plan will do away with cash transactions... This would be strange, and all these improvements may take away some of the exotic atmosphere of the place. If so, why not shop at MBK instead?
  6. In many places you pay for that in jail.
  7. The more senior people are, the more weak, helpless, vulnerable, even poor. It is not practical to check for these qualifications, but it is very simple to check for age on an identification document. And there are no problems with this practice. If there were a clear justification for such double pricing, progressive countries would have it too. But they don't. There is something inherently wrong with it: open door to discrimination. While a government can impose uniform double pricing, left to the individual it is too easy to be immoral. If someone discriminates farang vs local, what keeps him from discriminating black farang from white farang, gay from straight, etc.? The Thai government should get sufficient benefit from tourism in the form of increased demand of the country's goods and services. The lesser pricing for the young (regardless of fittness) and even their free entry serves a positive purpose of ATTRACTING attractive guests, which will benefit all without victimizing anyone. The higher pricing for the older serves the purpose of REJECTING them, therefore victimizing them. I understand that not being so young, you would not be indifferent to the money boys and massage places operating on a system of increasing charges for age like, say, for a 40 year old the short time is N baht, while for a 65 year old it is double. You probably would not like it at all.
  8. Conservatives in the US constantly complain about too much government regulation. But we are lucky that so much discrimination is against the law. And it is so in progressive countries. I don't see any justification for discrimination in countries where there is more poverty. Dual pricing for nationalities, genders, races, sexual orientations and... age is an abusive practice, except for social reasons. For example, we older seniors (weak, helpless, vulnerable, poor) should get benefits of reduced fares, discounts. (I would like to see big fines to the owners of Sauna Mania and R3 for charging us more when we are over 50 )
  9. Interesting comparison. And so is the life style of the two. Buffet lives rather modestly, while Trump... well, you know. Bill Gates does not throw his wealth around either, and he and Buffet are big philanthropist, while Trump... well, you know.
  10. I am very sorry for the lack of clarity. But I don't want this to be any business of yours and stress you out.
  11. Your proposal would be well suited for the past, when battles were fought by very young people with swords on the battlefield. But Thailand would need to produce countless children to measure up to a nuclear power like India, and it would have to become as overpopulated as them. In our times even an older population can fight a modern war. It does not take much force to fire a gun, or to push a button and launch an ICBM. Bringing in people from other countries with similar religion prevents a big conflict. But mass emigration is always a source of much suffering. There is already an effort by the community of nations to avoid big exodus of refugees by resolving the conflict in their lands, but like much else, success is not forthcoming.
  12. For your information and others, it is not magic. Some gays we can be bisexual.
  13. Instead, we help reduce overpopulation. One homosexual couple can mean two less straight couples.
  14. That must be a rhetorical question, because there is no intelligent answer to it. If you are not born, you cannot know that you are not born.
  15. Hopefully you don't age like your uncle but remain healthy and strong, so at most you trip over the clothes of the boy in your room.
  16. I think you are absolutely right, and I see this "incentive to boost birth rate" as something negative. The world economy is traditionally seen as a Ponzi scheme where ever more young people are needed to support an aging population. But there are some favorable advances that may compensate for this. Technology is giving us a great fleet of slaves, machines and automation, that can do the work for us. In reality, they are concerns that their existence will cause wide unemployment. And increasing number of seniors don't work because they don't have to or don't want to, not because they are unable to work. So, why should we push to increase the number of young people who may face unemployment? Why not put to good use the many seniors who want or even need to work but are discriminated because of their age, not their inability? Soon we will have self-driving cars that can take seniors comfortably to their work. And the workplace is becoming increasingly friendly, with better facilities and even telecommuting. I think that society should push for a decrease in birth rates. China should be much better off today than if it had not pushed for the one-child policy. And a smart Thai couple should think seriously about how much 30,000 baht per year, or 60,000 baht on birth (US$ 1,000 or US$ 2000) can contribute to the cost of raising a child. And if they find that those sums are a lot of money, pity the children that will grow up in poverty!
  17. I agree with you Vessey. This thread was perfectly in topic until "reader" found the word "car" in one example I gave related to the topic, and he used it to attack me with a twisted post about automobile tanks full or empty. He intentionally derailed the conversation to blame me for what he had started.
  18. You must not have much experience with cars. A car can have its fuel tank half full (or half empty) and still not be able to move!
  19. Some things don't care if their cap is half full or half empty, because unless it is totally full, they are worthless. A car with half its parts belongs to a junkyard. Also a beautiful speculation, dogma is worthless unless there is definite proof. But it can be interesting nonetheless.
  20. I might be a wishful thinker, but the probability of anything outside exact sciences having a ZERO probability should be very low. And about possibility, only that what is proven impossible has zero possibility. Which leaves infinite other things with possibilities.
  21. Dear Newscene, you should not feel one ounce of guilt or concern of hurting feelings. What you pay/paid is peanuts compared to what some individuals do betting millions of dollars on a Ming dynasty vase. What more can you do with such vase than look at it? But a million US$ can pay for a lifelong of great sex, especially in LOS!
  22. We all have our preferences. I might suggest you carry an anti-snoring mask that keeps the mouth of the boys shut. If in need, a piece of 2 inch surgical tape is ideal to keep the lips together. I use this daily, not to stop chatting but to avoid getting a dry mouth during the nightly sleep and so protect my teeth.
  23. I find such rule very smart. And I think it can be flexible. From my experience (and some here think that I have no experience!, LOL) I see no conflict doing the two at the same time, or in an alternate way. When I start having good sex I like to know more about the person, and so some conversation follows. This does not have to stop the sex, and even spreads it out and makes it closer. Except for one time with an offed Thai boy, all my sex has been in non-profit encounters, and I have never had someone walk away because of the intermixed conversation. Even with the Thai boy there was chatting, including me telling him how gorgeous he was and what attracted me the most in him, and he telling what he wanted me to do.
  24. The regular "decent" people who engage in religious marriages and educate their children to be fearful of the sins of sex and homosexuality in particular have a lot to learn from this interesting couple you describe.
  25. You are thinking of omelets. I never got or gave one of these and I don't see their point.
