  1. I am not blessed with the instructions from Apostle John like you are.
  2. This is also my feeling. I don't care for beggars in the US, but in Thailand I see much misery and people who can use my bahts much better than I can. So giving 20 baht to a disabled beggar is a satisfaction, and I don't think what he does with that money, that is his karma. Often I am in my room when the maid comes by, and I give a tip of 20 to 40 baht in her hand. The few times I eat in restaurants I tip like in the US that what is common, and I don't tie this to the service unless it is exceptionally good or bad. Otherwise... I have little else to tip since I have not be paying for sex and I don't use taxis. The MRT and BTS don't expect tips.
  3. I don't think that makes sense. There is no need to swallow from that "bottle".
  4. ??? In the years I am over 70 I find only advantages to it. And I am not even talking about the huge advantage of being retired.
  5. In a recent case in a luxury hotel in Playa del Carmen, Mexico contaminated liquor hit two siblings so badly that they passed out in the pool, and one of them drowned. I feel protected in BKK from such dangers by sticking to my favorite beverages there: mango drink and water.
  6. Don't regret it. There are much better protein drinks.
  7. The effect of this topic on my digestive system is to make me feel like puking.
  8. LOL! For some, the only acceptable human diet is to ingest plenty of gin.
  9. Thank you. I am an ex-smoker, meaning that I have stopped smoking. But not because of warnings or increase cost, but because I kept trying. It has been 38 years since I last smoked, and I am blessed by never having to smell even a molecule of smoke in my normal environment, except in very rare occasions.
  10. If sex for money instead of friendship is troublesome, what can we think of health care for money, or food for money? Will doctors care for us or food stores give us food out of friendship? And... God's forgiveness for money, like Catholicism had before Luther?
  11. Reducing smoking is not stopping smoking. I know as an ex smoker.
  12. A few more vaccines and cures for STDs plus fail proof contraceptives, and we should be able to welcome a more liberal society in regard to sex.
  13. I couldn't agree more. A driver who plows his car into a group of people has no humanity, or maybe only in his body. White supremacists don't fit the American image of terrorists, which is Muslims. Trump seems to think this way, and he may consider the supremacists as "patriots" who voted for him. In reality, he appeals to the American terrorists and other low-lives who are unable to think. The presidency and the GOP leaders who support this president are going down the toilet. But maybe not we American people increasingly waking up to the disaster that fell on us. Already the division of powers seems to be working and preventing the realization of a rightist dictatorship. Comics on TV have never made such overt fun of a president, and this is a good sign.
  14. No one questions this. Money should even precede fun. In the quoted post #34, the dancing boys get paid for that.
  15. Yeah... not a bad idea. Any change that raises the excitement of customers is positive. And it has a probability to become mainstream sooner or later. I don't see why boys would be opposed to working nude and be touched, as long as they don't have to ejaculate.
  16. The small "naked zone" at Babylon is a favorable addition they did several years ago, maybe in response of criticisms that the place lacked such entertainment. It is accessed from the upper cruising area that opens in the afternoon, guarded by an attendant who takes the towels of the guests entering naked, and leads down some hard stair case to the small dark maze. It is a good start, and hopefully the owner sees the potential of making it more exciting, although he has enough business already. I would suggest to have two rooms, one with soapy water raining down, the other with clean water showering down to clean the soap. There is nothing that heats up so much and refreshes at the same time than a nude crowd rubbing together in foam baths.
  17. Is there any reason to give credibility to that dumb report? How are Singaporeans more "digital"? I have noticed a nearly equal amount of people glued to their smartphones in public places, which maybe makes them higher consumers of digital data but not smarter. Wi-fi, GPS work as good in BKK as in SIN. Singaporeans are better educated and more snobbish, again not fully correlated with digital. The "digital" in their technology, infrastructure, surely comes primarily from the US. Isn't it interesting that many outstanding persons don't use "digital" but relegate it to their subordinates? Take the Pope, or the most negatively outstanding Trump, they barely use computers. From my perspective, the most digitally advanced people are concert pianists.
  18. What a silly article! Someone with little inspiration needed to write about something! "Digital nation index" sounds like a recent invention. And Thailand is number 10 of what? It takes some research to find that the author refers to 10th among the Asian-Pacific nations. And "digital nations" includes all nations. People in all nations have fingers, all of them with 10 fingers each, which matches the etymology of "digital". Not the amount of software created or used by the people there. The author of this article must have been desperate to find something to criticize Thailand for!
  19. The last time I was at Babylon was in April 2016, but from immemorial times they have besides a main area that includes the pool a second area which opens later in the afternoon (5PM?) which includes the patio with the bar, the large collection of open showers ending in the second dark steam room, and a large fraction of the upstairs rooms. A third area with more upstairs rooms opens only on special occasions.
  20. This is definitely more fun to watch in BKK and other SW Asian cities instead of doing it in the US...
  21. It helps to be positive. Think of the people not too long ago who had to spend weeks crossing an ocean in a steamboat.
  22. Won't you complain then that he is overdressed?
  23. True. Think of all the people who read the Bible, and are not 2000 years old.
  24. This is perfectly fine. You can pass to me your quota of naked nights and naked foam parties.
  25. When we come to LOS as tourists, the last thing on our mind is to know how to swear, insult in Thai.
