  1. I think it would be a bit of a waste to go to a place like this for a massage only. But of course that's up to you. The smaller shops where you pre-select from photos in person or via Line aren't going to have lots of guys there for you to chose from if for some reason you don't like the guy you picked. From their perspective you have sort of undercut their "please book ahead" rationale. And the guy that you booked ahead will of course be a little miffed. So I do not think that's the proper way to proceed. You can just message the shop and say you will would like to visit at whatever time and ask to have a selection of guys available. They likely will arrange to have a couple/few guys there no problem. And if they can't do that they will tell you. But specifically booking a guy and then saying "oh no I think I would like someone else" is a practice that I think you should avoid. If you want to book via photos it's no problem you can first ask who does what you want, or you can say you are interested in "X" does he do what you want. (The default is that virtually all guys will top, but often 60% (plus/minus) will be top only.) It might be better to go to one of the larger shops where you pick in person from a lineup and avoid the anxiety. This also gives you an opportunity for some easier back and forth with the manager about which guy does what. You can of course do that via Line, but it might be easier in person. The place where you might feel the least rushed would be The Prince. It's easy to go there. When you sit down they hand you a glass of water and you can just say you would like some time to relax before selecting. Then you can eye the eye-candy at your leisure and then call the manager and chat with him to make a selection confirming that the guy will do what you want. Also an advantage of Prince is that the minimum tip is full service, so no need to worry about that. All this is also true for VCK and My Hero. Personally, I think Prince is the least pressured or intimidating. But that is probably a very personal opinion. Arena is another choice but with the guys so much closer I find it a bit more intimidating to peruse at my leisure. Also the Soi Twilight shops might seem a bit awkward (but of course there's really no reason to worry). Arena and the Soi Twilight shops the "full service" tip price has to be negotiated with the guy. At the extreme end of don'ts -- don't wait until the massage is over and say "I didn't enjoy it/it wasn't good I don't want to pay" or something like that. This sort of thing actually happens. The gone and not forgotten shop Adonis had a simple rule that if you think it's not working in the first ten minutes then say so and they'll get you a replacement. That seems a fair rule to me to protect the interests of all concerned. Don't complain if the guy puts a condom on you to give you a blowjob. Let him know ahead of time if you have a particular concern or part that needs extra attention. Communication is key. One thing I have noted is that even though I have confirmed with the manager what I want when selecting the guy, the manager doesn't necessarily pass that information on to the masseur. So I usually reconfirm with him as we are walking to the massage room. Especially first experiences should be measured on their own. Not compared with fantasy.
  2. they're still in business. i get their Line photos pretty much every day.
  3. This topic does seem to pop up frequently. Very strange. Of course that could mean that "where's there's smoke there's fire." But my experience is so different I just don't get it. Contrary to what was stated above, I think there are more than "a couple" of members who have posted favorable reports. I am one of them. Personally I find guys from Vietnam to be the same as from the other countries. I've had great experiences with them, travelled with a guy throughout Vietnam with whom I've stayed friends. (Also he started refusing money from me and it become one of those friends with benefits situations. So obviously they're all not out just for the money.) My general perspective of course starts with the idea that people are people all basically the same. I have also made the point in the past that there are guys from Vietnam at most if not all of the gogo bars and major massage shops in Bangkok and they are among the most successful guys at their respective establishments. So they must be doing something right. I think there may be a greater reluctance to self-identify as "bottom" - but that can and should always be confirmed up front anyway, so that can't really be an issue with a customer. If a guy says he doesn't bottom then move on. (Also, as others have said in the past, once you get to know many of these guys as a repeat customer or someone they feel more comfortable with, who knows what they may end up doing with you.) I believe that the you non-offable guys at Scorpion Bar have long since gone. In any event, if anyone is to be criticized surely it should be the bar's management, not the guys who simply had a job where they were able to set their limits. So maybe we can move on from that particular shibboleth.
  4. Several of the fancier Bangkok massage places have VIP rooms with large bathtubs or jacuzzis. I've never tried but maybe they offer a soapy experience? I don't really know. Places with VIP rooms that I am aware of: Prince, VCK & My Hero.
  5. won't be a problem at all in the bangkok gogo bars or dj station. they've seen it all before....
  6. I'm baffled by a lot of this. I think that the "full service" M4M massage shops are indeed brothels. Certainly at the main such shops the masseur is naked from the start. As long as you confirmed role/price ahead of time, then that agreed-upon sex is what you are getting. The quality of the massages may vary, but most are good to very good sensual massages. This would include, but would not be limited to, Arena, Prince, VCK, Bangkok, Bonny, My Hero, Spa Sathorn. You wouldn't go to one of those places for a sports massage. Personally, I think the guys who work at Prince and VCK are as good looking as any that work at Dream Boys, but of course de gustibus..... At some of the more rarified boutiques M4M full service shops, the masseur may start somewhat clothed, but as long as the role/price are agreed ahead of time, full on sense will be the natural conclusion of the massage. This would include, but would not be limited to Baantewa, Leo Spa, Nine, Senso, Urban Male. For most pictures can be readily found of the guys who work there. You can decide if they are good looking enough. All part of the Bangkok buffet for men. You pay extra for a massage at one of these shops, just like you pay extra for the "shows" at the go-go bars. Each of us can decide on whether it's worth it. The apps involve their share of frustrations and risks. Personally I like a mix.
  7. +1
  8. there's a tab "deliberate omissions" and there you'll see why i deliberately left off Banana Club. BTW to all concerned, I tried to make it clear that it's just a group of shops that I have picked, so I'm not particularly looking for people to tell me what I "forgot" or "missed". If you want to add reviews and similar information for shops that are not on my list, that's a great service for the Board.
  9. Ha. I'll think about changing it. You might be on to something there.
  10. To get to spots further away I usually am lazy and take and Uber or Grab Taxi. Lat Prao shops I'll usually head over by klong boat and then hang out in the neighborhood for a an hour or so. But there's a point where it just seems silly to travel far when so many places are easy to reach by BTS. I almost put The Bridge in but I really wanted to go back another time before adding it. I liked it (and it's predecessor shop). I agree the oil gets things too messy. There are a few guys at Prince who just wind up the massage portion and say, "ok, shower now and sex" -- and we both shower. I like that approach. I've had a couple of other guys be very careful to wipe off as much of the oil as possible. THat's good too too. At other shops I've had masseurs who will wash off the oil just off themselves. A couple of weeks ago I had the opposite experience (at Bangkok Massage) where the guy slapped on way too much oil. Another problem with oil is the guys are less reluctant to lick/kiss/whatever the parts with lots of oil on. I"m pretty easy to satisfy, so my absolute failure rate with masseurs is probably low - 10% or less. Probably 25% are just great at everything as far as I am concerned. For me this is usually measured by their enthusiasm. The middle 65% are fine but didn't rock my world or maybe seemed a bit mechanical. Right now there are about 4-5 guys at different shops that I think of as regulars and try to see at least once a month, but don't always get a chance to.
  11. Thanks for the report. I think the first times are almost always awkward. It takes the edge off and future experiences can be more fun.
  12. thanks for the great report and thanks for living life to the fullest. An inspiration
  13. thanks. I don't make it to Pattaya very often so I can't do anything similar for Patts. Maybe someone else can carry the shamelessmack torch there....
  14. +1 these are delightful well written reports that do a great job of taking us through your experience/learning. They are a great source for people new to the scene and a particularly nice reminder to all that it's about having fun. You have a great attitude. Much appreciated.
  15. no you are wrong. wrong. wrong. wrong. short time does not mean however long we hang out together plus sex. it means short time, which typically means ending around 3:00. so you are wrong. wrong. wrong. and there i go feeding the troll. shame on me.
  16. THere were a few very cute/handsome guys there the other evening.
  17. thanks for the kind words and you're off to a great start.
  18. I think that should be true except for the residual "rub and ??" category. Some of those are miscellaneous or I haven't confirmed it.
  19. I didn't forget some of those shops. I made a decision not to include them. I think Anddy's got the right idea - if people want to add to the database then do so with reviews and info.
  20. i think this is the most recent discussion of that question. not sure i have anything to add. http://www.gaythailand.com/forums/topic/11457-best-massagespa-for-twink-lovers/?hl=%2Btwink+%2Bmassage
  21. good catch on the typo on the complex/plaza thing. for prime - i was making the point not to expect and i meant exactly that and that's why i said it that way. in previous discussions about the prime on this board i have noted that i've had happy endings there, for oil massage and thai massage. I think the problem is the more the prospect of a happy ending is dangled out there then the greater the chance that someone might go with that expectation and then end up disappointed. That's what I was trying to avoid so, again, that's why I said don't expect. As for oil massages there, well yes of course and that's fine, but i think they are basically par with lots of places for that in and out of thailand. But what prime stands out for is Thai massage, so that'w what i was recommending. Spa Bangkok I believe says that they encourage "generous" tips. Personally I think good advice in general.
  22. Right now I live with a direct view of Prince and all its comings and goings. For fear of being caught by my current local guy - who lives on the same soi - I haven't been able to go recently, but I am happy to report Prince has been doing a bang up business this weekend with the influx of young Asian super gays for New Years/White Party weekend. thanks to all for nice thoughts.
  23. Some years ago Shamelessmack put a blog out with lots of info on massage shops in Bangkok, which I found very helpful. A while back I put together a spreadsheet with some updated information. For various reasons that format hasn't really worked for me. Instead, I've updated the information and put it on a blog, which for a few reasons is easier for me. Experienced readers/users can ignore most of it. Actually all are free to ignore all of it. But for the newbies might be some useful info. Happy 2018 https://bkkmassages.wordpress.com/shop-specifics/
  24. ? Maybe I've lucked out but in the times I've been there I've been in two different rooms and one had a private bath with shower and the other just a private shower. Never had to wait or leave the room.
  25. I can't say for sure, but my assumption is that 600 would be HJ.
