  1. This is SO true. Now that I live here I can take it slow and decide with whom I want to make my regulars. Prior to retiring here - I felt rushed to take an off because each day that I did not was a day closer to when my flight to return back to Europe was approaching. So, I tried to maximize my acquisitions during my vacation. Now, I am lucky if I have 3 per week and that is ok with me - no rush, better selection, and less pressure. For the monetary part, I pay on the upper acceptable range as I have got to know many of the guys and I check up on them regularly and their income streams are VERY erratic. It is VERY rare that they "get lucky" every single day. Sometimes they don't have a customer for 4 days. I definitely feel for them.
  2. Dear 12is12, These were GREAT daytime adventures that we had together. They are witness to the fact that there is SO much to do, see, explore, and experience in Pattaya - Jomtien OUTSIDE of the nightlife scene. Also, this is a GREAT response to OldDaddy's previous post when he questioned, "What do expat retirees who live in Jomtien do beside staring at the beach from their condo balcony". Implying that we would get bored. I am now here 3 months and I can attest that there is always something to go and see and do, and there is little time to be bored. And yes, I do also cherish my time sitting on my condo balcony staring at the vastness of the beautiful sea.
  3. Perhaps this place that I walk by almost every day might have what you are looking for. Mai Pang motorbike - VERY close to your hotel The Agate - and right next door to the famous Soda Massage in the Jomtien Complex.
  4. I had a great time finally meeting you Vinapu - I truly enjoyed myself after waiting all of these years. Yes, we had SO much to talk about. I left with many good memories and a greater understanding of who KFC is. :>)) Vinapu, thanks to you - I have since used your patented "vinapu tuck" - please be on the lookout for the royalty payment via Venmo. I see how this 'vinapu tuck' can definitely lead to a 'vinapu fuck' of the offed guy. and, I have to say that your stamina is quite impressive - soo many per day!!! Bravo!! I hope to hang out with you the next time you pass through Pattaya - even in a group setting with your enlarged fan club :>))
  5. Yes, most likely we were all there the same night. It was very crowded with all of the birthday party guests. We were the 2 falangs in the front of the bar (street side corner) who were dancing and with different host guys on our laps...
  6. Dear @12is12 thanks for the memories with all of these hot photos. I am only 3 months into my new retirement life in Jomtien and that night out with you at Double Shot was my BEST night so far in the Jomtien Complex. All the energy was right that night --> as the erotica was definitely injected into the Complex!!! You forgot to mention that you also danced - so I was not the only farang dancing at Double Shot. Dancing brings out the energy in us so that we don't have to feel geriatric with the guys constantly saying, "falang sit down - falang drink". Our rebuttal that night was, "Farang / falang CAN dance - and dance we did!!"
  7. and as a result you earned some Thai, "jai dee", merit with the guys - because 2 of them told me - wow - that falang is so nice he gave us some cookies.... You reminded me of one of our many conversations on how the guys could up-market themselves. One idea is if they could have QR codes on their person - so as they walk by we can snap their QR code and learn more about them, where they work in the Complex, and how to contact them. For us "shy guys" this would be a great way to expand our guy experience(s). As you know, I am a new retiree here - and I have reached out to many fellow falang retirees here and only very few have reacted to meeting up. Most just replied, "sounds like a good idea - I will contact you" - and then weeks and months pass and nothing happens. I believe that the established falang groups are content as they are and are not looking for any new entries. For those sitting alone night after night - I do not know why? It would be great if the people who manage the https://www.gaysupertown.com/ website could organize 1 time per month a meetup and/or bar crawl within the Complex, where the newbies can meet the already established falangs to break the ice and to create some possible new friendships. I know that over in Pattaya in the heterosexual world they often organize bar crawls in Soi Buakhao where the newbies can meet the residents to have a good time and make new friends. I am not aware that there is any such equivalent in the gay communities here in Jomtien and Pattaya. I will wait to respond to this until you post the Double Shot portion of this trip report - as there was definitely horniness in the air!!!!!!!!
  8. Yes I agree. They act as a large anchor store in a shopping mall - pulling customers to that end of the Complex. In this way, both main entrances to the Complex have some action. The street where the East Suites / Thai Blind Massage is too quiet - something interesting needs to move into that street to give it some life. I would love to see a place where we can dance - even a tea dance - for us who can't last beyond midnight in some far away dance club. Plus, it would help give us an alternative to the Complex mantra of, "Falang sit down - falang drink..." I find this desired behavior by our Thai hosts b-o-r-i-n-g and puts us into a geriatric state of mind. I would love to open a bar or dance place with the name = "Falang can dance...." - let us have some energetic fun instead of just focusing on B-I-N-G-O !!!! There will be plenty of time to sit-down and play Bingo later on.....
  9. Dear all, I have been asked to create a topic for the Jomtien Complex - Supertown. The related official website can be found at: https://www.gaysupertown.com/ Extracted map from the above official web site is shown below - but please note that this map is as of 10 Dec 2022, and will become dated over time. Please use the above web site link for a refreshed map.
  10. so, I should perhaps see if my former employer's global insurance plan has this perk - as I am also retired like you....
  11. wow - please tell us more. How can we also join this prescription program ?
  12. Here in Jomtien, I found this shop that sells Cialis - box of 4 - 20mg for 400 baht - so, 100 baht per pill. Not sure if this is a good price - but just want to share information. It is right outside of our Jomtien Complex on the main Thappraya road. (Note the image below it is quite dated - as it has been quite a while since the Google street view car has passed to update the street view image).
  13. So true!!! Unless of course, you cannot resist your encounter with the "pile of old stones....." Reminds me of a place called, "Dream Canyon" - just outside of Boulder, Colorado - you never knew what you might cum up against on those pile of old stones :>))
  14. What could happen in this hypothetical situation. You bring back to your room a HOT Indonesian heterosexual married male. Next day, anyone from his family (parent, spouse, or child) makes a complaint with the police that he had sex (with you) with someone other than his legal wife. Are you (the foreign tourist) arrested and subject to this new law ?
  15. This topic has been cumming up over and over in all the years that I am a member of this forum. I found this interesting web page - that tries to help you discover what condom size is correct for you. https://www.condom-sizes.org/condom-sizes/condom-calculator I am from the USA and we buy our condoms based on the length of your tool in inches. So, if you have a 7 inch dick - that converts to 17.78 centimeters in Europe. The above web page condom size calculator suggests a Thai condom with the size of 53mm - as the Thailand measurement system seems to be more interested in the calculation of the Condom Width, as opposed to the length. Then using the below additional web page "Find My Fit" - I can obtain additional information regarding the 53mm condom size https://www.tnrcondom.com/en/our-brand/find-my-fit?size=53 Could some of you guys try out these 2 web pages and let me know if I am doing this correctly ? Now that I live here in Thailand - this is a topic that I want to understand properly. Thanks, M.
  16. and if I remember correctly, that hotty had the number 45 - right ? he was definitely sexy.
  17. and I was a witness to those 3 HOT offs :>)))
  18. I would agree - In my case, I was invited along as the falang to celebrate a Thai birthday of one of my few Thai friends. However, as I note in this trip report - at the red chairs section of the Tien Beach - there were 2 gay workers - an older Thai gentleman, who was probably the manager of the red chairs establishment, and one of his staff, who was young (perhaps 23 or 25) and very sexy and cute and made it obvious that he was interested. When we checked Grindr - there were only a few (2 or 3) profiles active - and it was not evident if these "on Koh Larn" active profiles were day trippers or guys who were staying overnight like us. I guess the only way to find out would have been to check Grindr in the night time hours - which I did not. Since Pattaya and Jomtien are in close proximity - Grindr displays them as "near" - but they are truly back on the mainland requiring a 20 minute speed boat ride. I guess you could order-in :>)) So, bring your entertainment with you. If you are staying many days - you could order-in new entertainment each day and send the previous day's entertainment back to the mainland.
  19. I'm confused. I thought the "tip" was knocking on your back door in the morning ???
  20. Hi Olddaddy, Please see 2 related firework threads at:
  21. compliments - I LOVE your writing style. I was laughing SO hard and also at the same time your suspense was killing me..... I myself have been in this situation - with ALL of the eyes on your wallet as you pull out each baht to pay the group bill. The best is to do it slowly - it keeps them on the edge of their seat. Even better, to not have enough in your wallet but to have enough somewhere else in another pocket without them knowing it. During this hesitation as you fuddle to see if you can find more bahts - just to see if any of them will jump in to help you out. It is GREAT entertaining theatre......
  22. Do you think that this management limitation can be overcum? or it is written in stone and is not possible for any shenanigans ?
  23. Thanks for the compliment 12is12. My passion to have new experiences drives me to write these tedious trip reports. Of course, I also like to have my fair share of sex - and why not while making a traveling adventure :>)) 12is12 - I have to say that I misused the adjective, "infamous" to describe the Klom Klom restaurant in my Koh Larn trip report. Based on the official explanation for the use of this adjective (see below) I should have instead described it as: popular, famous, trendy, in-place, etc. I had an incorrect internal mental definition for this word as being equal to famous where I had thought that by adding in+famous made it more historical in nature. I stand corrected.
  24. Thanks Shameless Mack - I'll cherish this complement coming from you... In the more populated parts of the island the cellphone signal was good. In the more remote areas - like Tien Beach (my favorite), the cellphone signal was intermittent. When you needed to do something on the internet with enough bandwidth you had to wait until you had at least 2 or 3 signal strength bars to do anything serious. So, sometimes it was Poor or Dead Zone for a while and then suddenly it would jump up to Fair or Good at Tien Beach. However, in the main port town (NaBaan) which faces Pattaya - the signal strength was always Excellent. At the other 4 beaches that I visited the signal strength was Good or Fair.
  25. Thanks Vinapu for remembering my early trip reports from 2012, 2013, etc.. Being retired has given me the luxury of having the free time required to write these types of detailed trip reports. As you know, I very much appreciate maps in trip reports because of the way my brain works. If I can see a visualization of where a given location is on a map - it greatly helps me understand where a given place is and the best way to get there. Recently 12is12 showed me how to insert custom geographical pinpoints onto Google maps. This made me realize that I can use this Google feature to enhance my future trip reports and as I get older (deteriorating memory) help me to remember where I have already been to avoid that in my future that I have groundhog day experiences. In that way I can see everything once and avoid repeating them - good for the budget :>))
