Don't get discouraged with your a bit disappointing experience, may be lack of chemistry? As you noticed there is always lots of guys to choose from at HERO. again I recommend xiluzer, bkkmfj and ( shamelessly ) mine reports from end of last year, all places mentioned offer both massage and extras , cream massage is the same like oil if you don't like splashing oil all over. Peninsula hotel is across the river from Saphan Taksin BTS station, convenient during day , not so much for night life but taxis are affordable in BKK , Taxi from airport should be 300-400 on the meter, public transport from airport stops at midnight so you have plenty of time, you should be out of immigration by 9 p.m., if you want economise and have a first shot at eye candy take train to Phaya Thai station, change there for BTS, change BTS at Siam to other line to Saphan Taksin and than short hop across the river. Enjoy while it lasts
