From last trip -for massages I tip 1000 / 1 hr treatment , 1500 / few times just 1200/ for 1.5 hr , regardless of minimum tip, once left 2000 for 1.5 hr / at Senso / short time - I do it rarely, 3 times last trip : 1000 /boy left before agreed time, told him he will get more when returns but he did not/, 2500 I agree I overtipped, lost my cool I guess, boy great but left earlier than agreed, my curse I guess, 3000 again way too much but I included parting gift after 5 previous long time offs and got very good massage as a bonus long time 2500-3000 / usually /, 3 or 4 times added 500 because of great massage , still I consider this great value for money as most of long times were long 7-10 hrs. street pick up, 2000 for 7 hrs, he did not mention money at all but took mine matter of factly taxi money, never requested, wouldn't give in such case but gave 100 on few occasions to long timers when did not buy them a breakfast as is my habit mamasans in bars 0-100 depending of my mood and if they were helpfull / at Screwboys and BBB Boyztown they were really / performers in bars, 100 on departure for boy I like the most on stage, boy sitting with me 100-200, big cock show 100 for one of them, fuck show 100 / only one , at XBoys Pattaya this trip / sometimes lip sync singer or candle sufferer 100 depending on my mood, captains in massages 0, exception Bangkok Massage soi Twilight where I'm extracting hug from 2 of them for 100 and I tip sometimes 100 Art at Arena because I like him / and his biceps /, no hug from him though drink at bar, 20 per serving so 2 drinks brought at once , still 20 only restaurants 0-300, 20 baht, 301-600, 40 baht, over 600 , 60 baht taxis , rounded to nearest 20 i.e. 63=80, 97=100 comments welcomed, verbal abuse accepted but keep in mind I swear in 7 languages

You are right, with 350-400 drink price visiting all 6 bars in the soi is equivalent to long time off with corresponding more fun likely. On another hand perspective of frequent visitor like you is different from once-a year one like me who wants to utilize all opportunities and costs are budgeted for and kind of secondary consideration. First and short time visitors may be even more prolific and I guess bars are cashing on it. So all newbies reading it do not listen to us, old hands , take your money and splurge because when you return home you will likely regret that you skimp on 13 $ drink with show included, been there , done / or rather didn't do / that and regretted myself as one never knows when will be back. On another hand if one is looking for company that evening , bar hopping is good idea only if first bar visited is not producing anybody suitable. Otherwise with choice available it's easy to get overwhelmed with possibilities and return empty handed to cold bed or even worse, picking up first boy smiling at and not necessarily one we wanted. As for Id my life is easy as boys of type I like usually have not only ID but marriage certificate and pictures of their children in their smartphones, you are my witness LOL. But your comment is valid in any bar and one should ask and examine ID closely even if in slightest doubt not only for legal reason but I'd say ethical reason first.

As promised above while ago I went to Waternest in Dec 2014 and below are my experiences copied from my http://www.gaythailand.com/forums/topic/9774-off-to-thailand-again-december-2014-trip/ thread. Soi 39 is close to Phnom Prom /?/ BTS station , exit 3 . This is where Waterworks spa is located, short walk though the soi , in about 5 mins there's Philippe restaurant on the corner of small sub-soi where at the end Spa is located. Picked up 2 courses- 95 mins of massage followed up by 30 mins of jacuzzi treatment , total cost 2040, minimum tip for 1 treatment 700 , for 2, like mine 800. It was only one boy available at 4.30 so no choice at the moment but saw 2 farangs departing at the same time like me so likely they were busy. I was treated in the VIP room with massage table , jacuzzi, shower , toilet, another table for multiple shower treatment were located, all in one quite spacious room. Massage table luxurious with hole for the head, boy undressed himself promptly, wrapped in the towel which was shed next time I checked , say in 5 minutes. Massage requested strong and delivered with abundant access to desired boy's body parts. Than jacuzzi where fun continued. For me it was new experience, believe me or not I was in this thing first time, this was reason for picking up that treatment. All I can say with insert of boy inside Jacuzzi is a great thing, but why people are paying to install those sophisticated tubs in their houses is and always will be beyond me. Tipped boy 1500, well deserved for massage and fun delivered. I'm glad I went, don' be discouraged by prices quoted as I picked up most expensive and longest treatments and cheaper fun can be had there , certainly different from all massage places we usually frequent. Name of spa is WATERNEST , I used wrongly 'Waterworks' name in the original narrative By the way , another excellent place- Jey Spa is in the next soi, short walk from soi 39.

As promised myself above went there in Dec 2014, at first had problem of finding the place but got helpfull directions from 1moRussian and eventually got there on second try. Is actually easy walk from ON Nut, soi 52 is first soi from station in direction of train you arrived, shortly soi forks, turn left and after 100 m it forks again, turn right. First townhouse in your left is the place, no sign with name, just number 39 . In the small garden at front there's weight lift. Total may be 5-7 mins from station Friendly welcome, some English spoken, boys picked up form the pictures in the smartphone. Not many present when I was there but trip was worth it. Like all neighborhood places far from Silom/Suriwong tourist ghetto number of boys on duty is variable, discretion much higher but service and welcome friendly and prices digestible, standard length of massage is 1 1/2 hr, my favorite. If you have hots for boy seen on the website you may wish to call in advance to book him up but I liked whom I got.

After Arena this was my number 2 stop during my Dec 2014 trip, friendly and helpful mamasans / twice called boy for me from home / and good selection of boys, only firecat had bad luck , when we were there together nothing took his fancy. Me and ChristianPFC had much better luck even if we don not share the same taste, he got his twinks and I got my hunk / One , 6 offs in 3 weeks /, boys friendly and various types. Not competitive - few times when passed by boys in the bar at front told me : "boy you off another day is inside" I'd say Screwboys is a must to visit right now even if firecat disagrees. Drinks 300, off fee 450-500. And yes , they are open till 2 p.m. , handy for those arriving late or looking for consolators after early evening off disappointed them, God forbid.

Of all massage places in BKK Prince is by far biggest and classiest, prices are reflecting it but I found it justified. Two dozen boys on duty, presenting themselves in cathedral high enclosure, massage rooms well appointed and spacious with bathroom attached. Very impressive place. A bit more than 300 m walk from Chong Nonsi or Lumpini but still walkable, I actually walked there from Malaysia Hotel , well posted along Suan Plu, it's in the same soi where IResidence Hotel, just bit further into it.

Revisited SENSO in Dec 2014, several boys available , all grade AAA but I did not have problem whom to pick, M I was hunting for last year this time was in the line. He was playing Jom in Gthai movie part 5 so I was expecting sort of primadonna and was very pleasantly surprised. Not only very pleasant conversationalist but massage was great, one of 6 best I had this trip. Yes , prices are higher than else but somehow justified. I left very satisfied and definitely will be back.

Very soon they will be moving to new location in the same building and word is that everything at new location will be brand new. With 7 massages by 6 boys and 2 long time offs last trip I'm clearly biased but for me this is #1 place in Gay Bangkok.

All was said about Hero already but I recommend their restaurant - good food , friendly waiters and glass enclosure with the boys right there so you can have you meal and eye candy at the same time. Have you meal after massage , not before. This is an advice from quite a few massage boys , not only from Hero.

Visited twice in Dec 2014 and happy to report that selection improved, both firecat and me saw some potential and we like completely different types, show more tame due to happiness campain but golf number still presented

As of Dec 2014 still open, few boys on duty, not Apollos but not ugly either and not shy at all. drinks and off fees half of soi Twilight level so nice alternative for those who are horny and on budget Don't be afraid to visit, I was with Christian and boys did not pester us, room upstairs available if you want to get close to your chosen one right away.

Very friendly staff on reception, two computers available in the lobby well positioned to check eye candy passing by the entrance, safety deposit box in the room in working condition. cheap beer / 40 baht / on reception, they even have an elevator. A/c a bit slow to cool the room but at least quiet, Not fancy place but well positioned attractive budget option

Easy walk from Chong Nonsi BTS, map above accurate, I visited in Dec 2014 and was happy with massage and a boy choice, outcalls 7/24. Yes you are picking up from the book so good place for those who hate intimidation of picking up from the line.

No problems with guests at Nantra, actually none of 3 boys I brought when there had to leave their ID with reception. As xiluzer says above , they don't care. As for safety deposit box there was one in the room but did not close. likely they could fix it easily / I had the same at Take A Nap, fixed in no time / but I did not bother as at end of trip I run out of money and used box to keep my laundry only
