  1. good advice , good advice firecat
  2. I'd rather give those 200 saved to the boy than feed bank's bottom line so yes , I pay attention to withdrawal fees and try to use ATM as little as possible.
  3. this is what I 'm always doing and using ATM only at end on trip when my budges is busted already. My favorite exchange place is Natty gems beside soi Twilight, next to Family Mart
  4. I'm glad you had fun there
  5. with one of the highest murder rates in the whole world something musty be missing in this rosy picture
  6. just curious, how do you know?
  7. Definitely I bought my once famous "Bike for Dad" yellow shirt there in the morning so it must be whole day operation
  8. not to get into discussion about other people preferences but I'd like to note that photos quite often don't do justice to the boys pictured and in the flesh they look much more attractive. and when we off a boy / men we are not offing just his meat and veins but it is whole person sharing those few hours with us. At times he may not be that attractive by the looks but can be still enormous fun to be with. Of course other way around is possible - first class looks , first class body and first class an asshole as one of my friends described Jupiter boy he offed around Christmas 2014

    RIP Bill

Happy Birthday faranglaw and you Mr. Shakespeare as well
  10. Yes, impossible to miss since market is right on the canal's bank and right on the boat's stop
  11. My choice would be Talat market right on Saen Saep canal route, easy and fun to get to, small, busy and entirely local with corresponding prices. Take boat going west and after less than 10 minutes you are there . Can be combined with visit to Golden Mount temple , steps from next and final stop
  12. I like your positiuve attitude
  13. sometimes theft can be accidental ie. somebody wearing the same make may take yours by mistake, It's why often I place shoes in my day pack instead leaving them on the rack. Since I was one of those board members I confirm that floors were positively dirty in places but it's still far from climbing Mt.Popa near Bagan in Myanmar where one is asked to remove shoes and climb the mountain barefooted on the cemented trail liberally sprinkled with resident monkey's excrements , experience not to be forgotten too soon
  14. enjoy your trip home and thank you for the reports
  15. 50% of gin and and 50% of gin , my favorite drink, is even better
  16. Thank you for a great report, rest assured you are not only one who likes to walk stupidly long distances across the city, heat or not, this is the best way to explore any place
  17. Other two , yes, me, don't overestimate , I'm just nobody
  18. I, for one liked kokopelli post due to sentence quoted above. I find your comment quoted above annoying but to your knowledge I don't participate in either of other boards but read them regularly on a daily basis.
  19. welcome to the forum and waiting for next installment of your adventures Harris77w

    Turning 55 today

Happy Birthday abang and lots of trips to Thailand in the future. Don't dwell too much on memories rather spend time planning next visit. Water was always more wet when we were young
  21. start earlier so you will be one who steal him or come late , he may be back from the first foray. never lose hope , sometimes even most attractive boys , whatever it means, are going home empty handed
