  1. Thanks for the report, gerefan and jones. Hmmm ... pee test and passport check on foreigners in entertainment venues...dont like it at all. For those living in Thailand, what's the worst case senario if one fails pee test? I never did drug thing (does not mean I can resist the temptation if that does come my way at the 'right' time). The more worrying thingy is perhaps the Thai cops rig the sample? [if they decided that they need some baht.] The report could also change my view as to carrying passport. Never believed for a second that Thai police need to check passport on people like me. [Why we want to stay in their country for extended period of time? Probably we want to spend more money? ... And if we do end up spending more money, why bother chasing me out? lol] I was in audience a number of years ago when Dynamite (Soi 1 Pattayaland) was raided. They accepted my foreign ID card as good enough (albeit my hotel was on Soi 3 where my passport stayed in hotel safe). We paid up our drinks and were on our way. I think they should stick to this practice as we contribute meaningfully to Thai GDP. lol. No?
  2. I wont disagree but if he does return some (more) time in the future, please do report back. I would not argue about this either. I am not judging MonBoy per se; more to do with human weakness (or greed) I guess.
  3. I guess this part makes the post somehow 'gay thailand'? lol.
  4. Call me cynic; I am sure MonBoy will return to the scene. Money is addictive. Enjoyed the entertainment the reports bring also liked all those thoughtful comments. And do look forward to Numazu's next trip.
  5. Then why you are all over the place and sounds like you knew it all? [cannot find an emoji 'vomit']
  6. Wow, that's something; looks like I need to keep this in mind and give Jomtien (in particular Blue Angel) a try when I next visit Pattaya.
  7. Agree ... but if we do not support, they could die very soon. As said it is a hit & miss, so I would give them a try risking a miss now and then. I will drink elsewhere anyway, so why not in these bars, considering these prices are still reasonable (150 bht?). When the mood strikes can still have some (full) hands-on fun, which is not (entirely) possible in Soi Twilight bars. I am guessing here so pardon me if I get this wrong. You were not visiting this place for the first couple of times. Perhaps the boys remebered your 'behaviors' last time you did visit (in which case they did not gain meaningfully financially). Hence the reaction to stand up (recognising who is the punter) and go back to phone (let's not bother).
  8. To each his own. To haggle over 500 bht or somthing like that before the deed would probably spoil my mood anyway. And to argue about it 'after the fact', which is seldom but possible, is entirely different as the lust has subsided:)
  9. I observed that some 'outside boys' never make to the stage; they may be meant to be just 'lookers' to attract customers/to advertise the bar? Never managed to figure that out. Any sights?
  10. No, I do not know this is coming
  11. Is there a way to 'double like' a post? Administrator ?
  12. Sunee obviously is for those wanting hands-on fun before offing a boy. Usually I start my night 9.30 ish and do bar hopping until before the bars are closing then off a boy. Typically I stay in Boyz Town so offing could be from ToyBoys or DreamBoys etc. Eros, Nice Boys are the places I frequent more. I also like Winner; but there hands-on is more subdued, for me anyway. Tried Good Boys a few times but they are typically not my type (don't start a war with me). Agree 100% and that's what I do at Nice Boys. As soon as got started with one boy, there would be steady stream of boys come to where I sat offering their services. Great fun. Samebb, how could you miss anything
  13. Yeah I am surprised. But surely Japanese do have some swear words? Can't believe Japanese is so 'civilized' and for so many years.
  14. Yes I confirm I have also seen this price list some time ago. I offed quite a few boys over the last several years from Toy Boys. I do not ask/negotiate boy price in the bar. In the recent couple of years, toy boys always said 1500 before we parted ways; most times I had no problem. One particular instance, a boy asked for 1500 and I was not willing. He said it is bar policy, which by the way I could not care less:). I think I paid 1200. Come to think of it, I have not paid 1000ST since some time ago. Usually like 1200, 1300 ST. But in massage places, I always did 1000 and boys all looked happy, except for Scandic of course as they have a 'prepay' kind of setup.
  15. Is hotmale 2 the open air bar downstairs Hotmale? There is also one opposite on the right side, or they both are hotmale 2? Been to Soi Twilight countless times; still need to learn sitting out in an open air bar, BKK is always too hot. Nit sounds like my kind of boy (also recounted by ggobkk's later post).
  16. Thanks for highlighting high boy drinks at BBB. I would not have noticed even if they do have a menu. But I wish to put in a different perspective. BBB may be trying a different (but shrewd) busniess model. As far as some are concerned, if they really like a boy or waiter, 450 baht a drink could be easily overcome by the lust at the moment. A smart business owner could in time review whether the new measure is good for the business; otherwise they will revert back to the old pricing policy. And I recall in the Philippines, the bars always change higher prices for a boy drinks (presumably the boy get a higher cut). And often the boys would down their drinks very fast and ask for another one. As some said, you could vote with your feet. If you do not like the high price, do not go.
  17. I hope you are right; as I seldome exercise and don't really pay much attention to life style . Still smoke and drink as much as I want especially when I m out of the country either on business or vacation. My (only) wish is if I die let it be a quick and complete one. Do not be 'half-dead' (like staying in wheelchair and can't recognize family etc); I do not want people to tend to me for years.
  18. Love the report. But was Numazu a bit too mean? Missing an appointment by a working boy is not really something new, or is it? Also liked the bit that MonBoy showed up despite not being granted permission. The lad has plenty potential.
  19. I am not into taking pictures of others or myself, especially nowadays when I am getting older. Have been to many places in the world and kept hardly any pictures of places visited. Come to think of it now, I did take quite some pictures of the boys I liked in now defunct happy boys (they were shirtless at 'best') with their agreements (but we were pretty tipsy anyway:)). Some boys wanted to take photos together with me (no naughty pictures of course) which I always declined. I don't want to see my pictures appear in some social media. At any rate I am not photogenic in the first place.
  20. Hmmm ... will the bars not close during this period? I've got to avoid Thailand altogether.
  21. Thanks man. Interestingly I could do quote no problem at all using firefox (now); but could not have done it with IE. No idea why but would not want to find out either
  22. I have no personal experience on credit card 'free insurance'. Touchwood, never had any significant incidents while traveling overseas. I have a straight friend traveling on vacation with his wife to Europe and his wife had a bad fall. The two of them had to fly back to Bangkok (yes both are Thais) with a doctor who flew in to the country where the fall took place (thought it was Austria) and the three of them flew back in first class on Thai Airways. His wife's surgery alone later cost half a million baht. Luckily my friend had purchased 'proper' travel insurance hence all these costs were paid for by the insurance. Otherwise he could be set back by quite a bit. Will I buy a separate insurance in future when I travel? No, unless it is mandated by the host country. LOL.
  23. ggobkk said: To write a full - but never as full as Numazu report - LOL. But no problem. We love your reports as well ! p.s. don't quite get how to make 'Quote' work.
  24. I think the situation in Taiwan has something also to do with politics. The DPP (now government) had promised the support for gay marriage when it was opposition party. Sometimes I follow the politics in Taiwan, very polarised society. But nice and beautiful people.
  25. Could not understand the 'obsession' with free boys. It can't be that some want to save some money? You fly halfway around the world ... I never chase free boys. As a matter of fact, I want to pay up therefore all deeds will be on my terms (well, almost; and I don't do weird stuff). I do not want to 'date' some free boys and at end of the day you do risk they are duds on bed. To each his own I suppose.
