Same here. When I go to Europe (3 to 4 times a year), I have problems sleeping long enough hours during nights. When back home (I live in SE Asia), I often wake up during wee hours. Really struggle / feeling drowsy in a couple of hours after lunch. Plan to get checked up whether I have a sleep problem one of these days.

Good show, good ambiance yes; perfect for having a drink or two during show times. Could be quite busy during first show. Have to confess I have never offed anyone from BBB though.

Are you saying Ambiance Massage (called bbb massage or something?) and copa massage are now collecting a 500 baht minimum tips for the boy? I only recall Scandic collects a full fee upfront (from memory it was 1400 b presumbly 400-500 is for the house and the rest goes to the masseur) but admittedly have not tried bbb or copa massages for a while. Can't say I like the system as I wonder whether the shops 'exploit' the boys and extract more money meant for the boys.

Come to think of it, Dusit2 (I know they have a proper name) on second road is not bad at all. Stayed there a few times when it was newer. The breakfast was pretty good (that I can recall) and the beds were comfortable (some may call them hard); and heard many staff were gay (not that I have tested myself).

All agreed! But have to admit I took motorcycle many times from SP to BT (less the other way around). From bottom of my heart, I know it is risk taking (perhaps unnecessary risks) but still telling myself it is a short distance ... short distance .... hopeless me lol.

Yep old Marriot is of course a property of better quality. Stayed there a few times. I dont remember the food there though; in other words they must have been forgetable

Haven't tried a taxi yet in Pattaya. Anyway they are 'spotty' at best. No? How taxi works? Baht bus still a distance away from Soi 3 (even further from Soi 1) and there is the wait (and potentially negotiating with the driver). Mmmm ... I know I should not fret over these. LOL

Stayed Baan Souy once. The property was good but it is far away from anywhere! I know I know it is only a short ride away. Will not stay there. It's just me. Also stayed at the Venue once some years ago; could not remember much now other than Jomtien then was not as vibrant as described by members here. Never stayed at Jomtien again. Looks like I m not staying at Holiday Inn after hearing the feedback ... for sure. Maybe try Agate.

Has anyone stayed at holiday inn pattaya before? I have always stayed in Boyz Town area in recent years (mostly in Copa); did stay in Sunee area a few times (just more than a couple perhaps). I can see 'problems' with holiday inn (on beach road). It is far from boys scene; may have difficulties going back to hotels with company in tow (motorbike will be the natural choice but safety could be a concern? after some drinks). Would assume the hotel will have no problem with joiners (it is pattaya after all!) But families staying at the property could be a problem? Any other problem I am missing? Am also thinking about Agate in Jomtien but if Agate is chosen the offs will (predominantly) be from Jomtien as it does seem a daunting task to travel with boys from BT or SP to Jomtien (I know it's doable but kind of a hassle). Decisions, decisions and advice appreciated.

My short Bangkok stay (work cum holiday) was over due to work commitments. Agree that BKK is expensive but far more important BKK is perhaps making a pleasant off more difficult. I had to 'interrogate' all potential offs with my basic question list and had to forego some contenders as they 'don't like' this or 'don't do' that. Pattaya boys are more pliant (for want of a better word) - in my opinion so next time Pattaya that is.

It is a pity samebb has been banned. I obviously do not agree with him all the time but he does provide info I am very much looking forward to ... the type of boys, hotels to stay and smoking habit etc lol. I also went in Super A one day last week slightly past midnight. I was pretty tipsy by then and in a rush to find an off; I did not. Went in Golden Cock next door. In fact I was lured in by the outside twinky boy, only to find out that he is actually under age (may be slightly but not sure). As I was somehow trapped inside (not due to the rain) so bought a round of drinks for the 'boys' (for old time sake). I was a frequent visitor some 10 years ago on the afternoons. Some of the old timers are still there and one professed that he is 42 now (he does not look 42 though). Finally found an off in Fresh Boys, handsome boy and Thai. When I came back a few days later and wanted to repeat an off with this Fresh Boys' off he was nowhere to be found. Oh well ... move on.

BKK BTS is actually quite expensive relative to the average salaries normal BKK people take home. Of course this is in comparison to public transport fares in neighboring countries, particularly Singapore for instance. Can't really compare bus fares as average foreigners could not really take buses in Thailand I suppose (unlike Christian or Pong who are obviously very knowlegeable about the big city and the language). I like to ride BTS and will stay in hotels at or near BTS stations. Agree that taxis are cheap and perhaps why taxi drivers always want to jack up the prices past midnite. At any rate I usually have a boy in tow so a couple of hundred baht would not make any difference. lol:)

My experience has been that some massage joints are open early afternoon. I would walk around TukCom area to look for cute boys on the terraces of those massage places. Had some good massages in the past but unrelated to specific joints. Blue House massage (opposite to Mosaik) opens mid afternoon and their rooms are better (partitioned) compared to others which have mattress on the floor (and curtains), may be worth a try.

Almost my point to not limit your pool of offs. Some want gays only, others want straights only. I am in the 'indifferent' camp. I can understand you want gay if you are developing a long term relationship. I am going to sample Boy66 tonight so as to keep this thread 'on topic' lol.

Yep Winner boys. I still miss the now defunct Happy Boys; which Winner boy is trying to emulate I guess. The better part is Happy Boys was more fun and had an upstair to have a more 'elaborate' encounter LOL

I would agree with Vinapu's assessment; unless Nice Boys had a sea change in the last six months or so. I had visited many times Nice Boys for the fun moments in the bar. But the boys had not been 'twink enough' for me.

Went in at 10ish last night. It was packed and sat at the bar. Shortly after the show started. Although I had not been to the old Jupiter for a long time, the song numbers still sounded familiar. Would say the boys are above average build and perhaps above average looks. Some bare chested some wore singlets. A couple of show numbers looked similar as well, like 'keeping the hat on' with the actor stripping off cloths piece by piece and spotting a hard on end of the show (for a second or two). An interesting part was the interaction between the show dancers and the audience (hugging and light touches etc); but I was not sure if those were 'staged' or not. Half an hour later, a few women seated themselves next to me and started some chats and that was when I got up and left. I have no problem with women in 'gay' places generally. And I m not even sure Jupiter advertise themselves to be a 'gay place' or not. Soi 4 certainly looked busy.

Many may have different views. I am a 'face' person to start with. If a guy passes this test, I will ask a few simple questions (what he does or does not do). I will not require the offs to be gay or bi. As this additional 'criterion' would no doubt further limit the pool of available boys to me. I already am finding rather difficult to spot an off who could fulfill my basic requirements. No, I do not ask for weird stuff.

It's wasting (my) time and money. I usually ask a few simple but direct questions before offing a boy (kissing is one of them; and how much is not ). No kissing is a non-starter; if one does not kiss (when doing his 'job'?) he could not be very accommodative in other facets. So I am ready to move on to another prospect.

And I like that! Never wanted a relationship ... having spent all adult life alone (so far) ... really would not know how to live together in a house with another human being ... but that's just me.

Agreed! Key to the show is to have attractive boy 'actors' (I know this is subjective). I like to watch shows when having a few too many drinks every night but the actors are mostly 'rough' type so could not care less.

Vinapu, what are the 'attitudes' of the boys in boy66 and Jupiter? I mean do they think they are handsome (hence a bit arrogant) then service standards are lowish? Had some offs in the past in old Jupiter and could not recall very pleasant experience. Not enough time to make to Pattaya this trip guess have to make do with Bangkok.
