Recently visited this place. Not easy to get there . Took a taxi who made a wrong turning before he eventually found it. Breathtaking to learn the building/complex etc cost 50 billion baht. High ceiling floors with Hi-so designs, each level resembling show rooms. Grossly overpriced almost throughout. Most of the people seemed to be there to enjoy the free air con et al. They need to go early and find the free public area seating and spend all day on the phone or tablet. I have seen more interesting day and night markets with far better prices. The only place that seemed a bit busy was the mandatory MK outlet. The ground floor has a few colorful Thai style displays but all in all... 50 million baht?! Ludicrous!

OP: I do not know about the ones u mention but you ask about "other places". A couple of weeks ago I went here: http://www.theprincebkk.com/ourboys.php -directions in web site. I was very impressed. Mostly muscular /toned guys/clean cut. Usually not my style but could still find a number to my liking. Can view the guys through a glass partition where there is a mini gym area. The place is beautifully clean, professional and all the guys look healthy and fit. The m-s or whatever he calls himself is friendly and helpful and told me exactly which guy can do what. He claims the staff regularly have health checks and no steroid users. Private rooms, and I paid a bit extra for a larger room. Own shower/ toilet. Very good massage and the happy ending I expected which was totally safe. Seems the place popular; I went early afternoon and later on it got busy mainly Asians. I have tried a few of the massage places in Silom and Prince is far superior in choice of masseurs, cleanliness and service. Now some of the guys have had nose and face jobs so whilst a turn off for me if the boys think it makes them better, up to them. If you are looking for a cheap place then forget it as whilst the prices are higher than elsewhere I will return to Prince again. With the boys tip, 2 glasses of good quality white wine and a lovely private room booked for 90 minutes I had not much change from 4000 baht. Worth it!

Have to remember (and correct me if I am wrong) Prep only protects the one who is using it...right? so if someone is using Prep but unbeknown to him he already has HIV then he can still pass it on to his sexual partner if the latter is not using Prep and they go bareback... yes? By the way anyone know the cost of Prep per month? I have asked around some say as low as 700 baht per month others say a few thousand per month? And any side effects from anyone here who is using Prep? At the moment I will stay with condoms but i am open to change my mind...

Not quite sure what you are getting at; it is usually the case the boy is an MB and as z909 points out the MB's concern is less about what the client looks like but more about his tip. The MB visits the client, not for his looks, whilst with the client it is usually only about looks. But anyway if a video call is made both can see each other.....

OP: Thank u for this useful topic. My experience is the same as many mentioned above: guys using old pic's, someone else's pictures or an equally annoying practice is the photos that are photo-shopped. A lot of these people have access too or the ability to use all sorts of advanced applications which improves their looks including skin color (they think that is an improvement) shape of face and body etc. When i have asked some guys on line if they look the same as their photo many will try to avoid the question. it seems they reckon- often correctly-if they can get "inside the door" then there is a good chance the punter will accept them as they really are. Recently I turned one away as his picture showed perfect skin yet, in reality, he was covered in acne plus his rounded features and over weightedness had been doctored to a clear skin and sharp body and face features. I gave him some money for his taxi. So when chatting on line ask them to take and send a photo there and then or see them on video call. Make it a condition of meeting that u have the right to refuse if they are not the same as their photo or they are simply not your type. In fairness in some cases a tip for taxi is a good idea.

Hello: I am not familiar with the bar scene in Bangkok and need some recommendation for the best go go bars etc., or indeed massage places for me in the silom/suriwong areas. My post(#12 dated14 November) suggested to you to seek urgent medical treatment from a specialist, others here are now agreeing and suggest a dermatoligist. I cannot understand why you have not done so; blood, skin and other tests ought to quickly be able to determine the cause and give the appropriate treatment etc and perhaps advise on what is needed for your clothes and personal property. In Thailand easy to get a specialist doctor same day . Not expensive. Try Bangkok Pattaya Hospital if you are in Pattaya or Bumrungrad if in BKK. You owe it to yourself (and others that may get infected from you) to do everything to sort out the problem and simply surfing around the internet or seeking 'advice' from forum members-who are in many cases using guesswork- and who are often clueless has just made your problem worse. I am starting to lose sympathy.....

OP: You are totally blameless for what happened and at the same time courageous in persisting with doing something about it and sharing the matter with us here. It ought to certainly encourage the establishment concerned to make more efforts to avoid it happening to others... And they ought to help you more. Unless I have misunderstood what you are saying if you still have the problem on your body, it is vital u try to get rid of it asap and make sure none of your belongings are infected which could in turn cause re-infection. OP: Thank you for your informative posting. IMO, Surely you must consult a specialist doctor and get the strongest possible medicine to get rid of the problem from your body. Try Bumrungrad hospital. Discard any property that may have been infected. Maybe: The establishment concerned which gave rise to the problem ought to be informed of this thread and post here what they are doing about it or give their comments.

Interesting thread OP so thanks for posting it. Of course everyone is different and may have their own particular medical concerns. That said, I agree that giving up smoking surely must help; though the irony of becoming non smoking is a persons appetite may increase. And following on from that one factor that can be beneficial is never over eat and try to usually under eat. Good protein, fruit and veg + minimal carbs. Coupled with sufficient sleep, plenty of happiness and having as much sex as possible (use it or risk losing it) then these can all help as the years go by.
