I normally go to Thailand 4 times year ( but not this year). I've experienced the country in December /January, April /May, July /August and September /October. Plus other months in between over the years. In April Thailand is very hot, as you would expect. But I must say I've never experienced a lot of rain, even during the rainy season. If it does rain, it's usually only for a short time, not all day long, I've only ever been caught in a flood once. It was in the days of Krazy Dragon. When I went to leave and head back to the hotel at the end of the night, the soi was flooded. I walked through water up to my knees and after arriving at the Ambiance Hotel I had a very, very long shower. Much of the water I waded through came from the toilets in the houses and shops. Yuk! So don't always believe the weather forecasts. I think any time is a good time to visit. There are always pros and cons.

Except on gay forums, which can bring out the worst in people. Normally "gentle" guys can become incredibly vindictive, spiteful and nasty. Maybe this is a consequence of them having weak personalities in real life.

Oh, I see. What a disaster.

Am I missing something here? The first photo shows an uncovered walkway along the beach. The second photo shows the walkway now protected from the sun by some beautiful palm trees, Are some people saying they prefer the first picture??

English has way too many superfluous words; words which have no particular meaning but are required for grammatical accuracy. It is these words which confuse non- native speakers and makes English difficult for them to understand. Having seen Japanese struggling with English over the years, I'm talking from experience here. So I also speak in a kind of broken English, as communication is my main aim. I'm not interested in teaching them English, unless I'm speaking to one of my regulars. In that case, I'll go out of my way to improve their English. But to be honest, I haven't noticed any real improvement in the guys I teach. They don't have the opportunity to speak correct English. Besides, most guys just want to get their message across and are not interested in the intricacies of the language.

The Tarntawan hotel is perfectly located. It's definitely not luxury but for the sex tourist it's more than enough. And it's clean, which is a bonus. For shopping, don't miss Siam Paragon. It's awesome. There are some great restaurants downstairs. Sure, its expensive and not for the average Thai, as opposed to MBK, but even if you don't buy anything you'll enjoy looking around. Don't miss the Gourmet Market downstairs. I like to wander around and enjoy the free food samples ; there are lots of snacks you can taste which you can't buy back home. I think MBK is a fire trap. I only go there when I take a guy shopping. They prefer it to Siam Paragon - they get more bang for my buck!

How old do you have to actually be - as opposed to how old you feel! - in order to use the Priority Lane?

I occasionaly take cock photos but never ones of the guys' faces. I've sometimes caught the guys quietly taking photos of me but always tell them to delete them. I guess it's for future reference. Often they look as though they are just taking photos of my food in a restaurant but I quickly notice they are pointing the canera high enough to capture my face.

I certainly agree with that.

That t-shirt looks very classy.

He hasn't admitted anything.

Easy. Grab a guy from one of the soi Twilight bars, head over to the girlie bars in Patpong and let him choose a girl. Done! But be prepared to pay.

The hotels that I stayed at in Vietnam said guests had to leave by 9pm. I think that's the law throughout Vietnam.

Steveboy, I'll go instead of you. These guys are right up my alley! (I wish!) As for "group packages" I'd love to grope their packages. Yum!! And I'd definitely be "standing" while sitting.

How thorough are the checks? The guys in the big shopping malls like Siam Paragon, Zen, etc have always been too busy on their phones to check anything. And after the bombing at Erawan shrine they stationed 15 policemen outside. When I walked by they were all seated playing with their phones. So is it a real check out just another one of those "go through the motions" type activities to look as though they are doing something? These days I must admit I'm a bit nervous about catching the BTS. So I hope they do a good job.

I have free insurance worth my credit card. I checked into it and all seems fine - at least as good as any insurance you would buy. 'Choice" consumer magazine rated mine as excellent. But it's always best to check.

Yep, that sounds like a viable plan. It's basically how I operate, although I have an afternoon romp in the sack instead of going to the gym. It seems you've also discovered that fun can be had away from soi Twilight.

Great report. Ah, the Space Bar! I've been there many times and have also written about it extensively in trip reports. Along with Hatha Khmer massage and Arthur and Paul Hotel it is a perfect reason to visit Phnom Penh. I checked out their website and recognised a number of guys, but I wonder how old the photos are. I saw Virak's photo and I would go back just for him if he's still there. Enjoy!

Thanks for that. Screwboys has always been a favourite of mine, even though these days I get my fun elsewhere. But every time I'm in Bangkok I stop by, and am always surprised at the number of customers. Some great guys there, too. So I don't see the need to visit Jupiter.

Being a top definitely expends a lot more energy. No surprise there. As I am only interested in masculine guys, many guys I meet in Thailand are top only. But when I'm back home, I tend to top. So,.........that's the secret to my quick return to my normal weight. I never thought about that!

"it's good to check the PRC holiday schedule." Excellent advice. So far, it seems they haven't discovered Screwboys. Or have they?

Interesting. I would have said the opposite. I spend a lot of time downstairs in Siam Paragon, where there are lots of new restaurants, especially along the canal. I usually end up at the dessert restaurants, many from Japan. Yummo! I find Thai food quite healthy, apart from all that coconut milk. But you only live once. I get back to normal weight quickly one I get back home. And that must be quite a work-out your boys are giving you! Half your luck! Lol

The high profile gay bars have moved on from us. We are now old news. But there are other places to have fun, away from the Chinese women.
