Some of the boys with shaved pubes have been paid by customers to shave them or watch the boy shave their pubic hair. No problem for me when the guys trim the pubes but don't care for the shaved look.

I like your attitude Vin and openness to trying things a little differently. A good buddy of mine never took a boy a second time and insisted on being a complete butterfly. I couldn't understand how one could find a Thai guy that was fantastic and never return for a repeat visit. My friend now sees several guys on occasion and still has plenty of time to try new ones. I believe he feared getting involved and tied up. Sometimes you can have your cake and eat it too.

Couldn't care less about some facial hair. A full beard very rare for Thai guys but a little mustache no problem and a little chin hair also no problem. I do have a problem with very hairy legs above the knees and a hairy ass is a turn off.

mea culpa- 1-I am now certain that the squabble fountainhall had with Michael right before he retired was coincidental and not the actual cause of his leaving. Just coincidental after all. 2-I have no memory of posting that I never knew or met Michael. I am sure it will be easy to find the reference. 3-I must have made a mistake when I did a search for the sale of this site and found none. No doubt my error. Funny how one can be so sure of something and make a mistake. 4-I must have misinterpreted what I perceived as unwelcoming and didn't realize the welcome mat was out and I was an asset here. 5-I stated earlier it was my last word in the thread. so it looks like I am the compulsive liar, the one who is obsessed with defunct posters and have a narcissistic personality disorder. self enlightenment is refreshing.

My last comment here. Michael takes my comments very personally and behaves as if he was still the owner of this site. It doesn't matter to me if he is the owner. I do believe fountainhall retired, due in part to semantic battles with Michael and I do believe it is not helpful to the forum. Our new poster trailrider expressed somewhat similar thoughts. I hope he stays as the forum needs fresh blood or it becomes a blog of 2 or 3 posters. Perhaps that is what the owner wants, perhaps not. Whenever any criticism is made of the forum, Michael jumps in and gets very defensive. I believe fountainhall left due to this. I have no doubt Michael would like me to do the same. You can't have such thin skin and run a forum. Constructive criticism is helpful. Semantics turn a forum into a blog. I do feel unwelcome by Michael and his side comments towards me are personal. Is it a gaybar is not a personal attack. The semantics bore me.

Dicks Café definitely a gaybar. New Orleans in Boyztown area has new owner and is definitely not a gay restaurant but gay friendly and of course in a gay area. The new owner isn't gay and the old owner wasn't either. There are plenty of straight girlie bars and straight beer bars on the same soi. My point is that it is misleading to label a bar as a gaybar when it isn't. I fear losing new posters like trail rider when we argue over what is a gay bar. I am still recovering from the loss of fountainhall and glad to see firecat and devint filling the gap but the forum needs new blood and semantics is a sure way of turning off new posters. I think some take this as a personal attack on the owner. It is simply calling a spade a spade.

of course, trailrider is correct. I can't think of a bar or restaurant that isn't gay friendly in Thailand. It is misleading to label the place as a gay bar. Is it a gay bar or not? If not, simply correct.

In the last month or so, I have been to Copa several times. One time there were about 4 gogo boys who looked bored and were very manly and easily in their 30's. Another time there were about a dozen with several stunners. I agree the swimming show is boring and much too long. The show is generally entertaining and the best parts of it are the funny parts. Several of the ladyboys are quite humourous and I find it the best cabaret show in Pattaya. Firecat is doing a service by posting and I am enjoying the candid photos. A-Bomb can be a great bar some nights for those who like bigger boys. The boys/men filter in during the night and it can change from a just a few to quite a few in a hour or so. Sad to hear Wild West Boys has slipped back. Hard to understand why it can be fun one night and dead the next. Mic My in Sunee Plaza changes too over time. Nothing wrong with older and more muscled. Nothing at all and frankly they work much better for me than skinny twinks. Nothing wrong with skinny twinks of course. I do take issue with ladyboys, especially those on hormones with tits. Of course nothing wrong with ladyboys and they do have a huge following but I won't frequent bars with them. Taste and what works for you are as varied as can be.

I was in Toy Boys last weekend and we were there early due to rain. I was amazed to see about a dozen boys offed in the 9PM-10PM time range, almost all by Asian men whom I believe were Chinese. If one walked in about 10PM, one would think Toy Boys was low on boys. If you are in Boyztown any evening around 8:20, outside of Boyzboyzboyz the entire lineup of boys stand outside and sing and clap along with the music. Granted, some are older and more muscled, but many are younger. You will see at least 25 shirtless lads and get a clear picture of what to expect. Also about a dozen clothed boys are there too and some appear in the sexy boy show and are amazing. Best vantage point to see the early lineup is Oscars. Agree Wild West Boys very hot and cold. Last time I went it was pistol hot with a dozen eager friendly lads and two or three stunners. Other friends went a night or two later and it was back to 3 or 4 boys.

good idea to stay right in Boyztown with all the rain and flooding. The best boy bars are right there too, Funny Boys, Toy Boys and Boyzboyzboyz. I like Copa as well and they often have a dozen or so gogo boys.

Avoid ladyboys , especially in groups. Don't walk alone on beach road late at night and carry a big walking cane.

Its the product of a very disturbed sick person. Posters on this forum don't escape his wrath, including Michael and fountainhall ret. No doubt I will join the hate list after this. Unfortunately, help for the sociopaths and narcistic personality disorders isn't easily found but the cure for us is to to ignore and pity the pathetic buzzards.

Agree minor errors commonplace, but there are/were posters who wrote incomprehensible prose, exhibited the language skills of a slow nine year old student and butchered the language. There are men who stopped going to school and dropped out as preteens. Some men cannot read or write at all. Some enjoy irritating others, some crave any attention at all and some are always in a drunken or drug induced stupor. Some live for these forums and take it all too seriously. Some create endless lies and live out their fantasies and some feel the need to inform all of the mundane trivialities of their daily routines. It is just the way it is:-)

Agree with Bob but sometimes the extreme characters do add to the forum, even when very obnoxious and obviously compulsive liars. I don't miss them but forums tend to get dry and one personality dominates without some characters to mix things up. Hard to find a middle and almost fatal to forums when posters like fountainhall leave.

Intense hours of rain last night in Pattaya

I agree it is foolish but fools fall in love and do stupid things. I was wild about first Thai bf and he never stopped telling me that renting was bad and I should buy. He did end up with gold and motorbike plus more but no house. Many farangs throw reason out the window and believe their teenage bf loves their ancient wrinkled carcass as much as they love the teenager. It's an old story.

Heard a true story just last night. An elderly farangs bf died from an incurable disease. When the farang returned to their house, the locks were changed and the boy's family had taken possession and denied the farang entrance. He was homeless and still grieving the death of his bf. The house was in the bfs name.

Sad news. Fountainhall was the adult on the forum. Never afraid to speak his mind and never one to kiss ass. Fountainhall will be missed dearly as the voice of reason and intelligence.

I eat often at Or Ahan Thai on S. Pattaya Rd. with bf. Frequently, the bill is 515b. and I give the waiter 1000b. and he rounds the bill off and gives me 500b. bill back. We are regulars there and I normally leave a small tip. Not everyone is greedy and I find some of the cheapest and meanest are baht-pinching farangs.

This reminds me of a Pattaya restaurant review, where the poster loved the food but neglected to mention the owner encourages cigarette smoking inside the air-conditioned restaurant. Omitting important and obvious facts is not doing anyone a service, even with good intentions. FH should be applauded as he is objective and clearly knows what he says. Kudos FH:-)
