  1. New Queens bar beer closed for days and likely another casualty of the shifting tide away from Sunee Plaza. I don't recall seeing a for rent sign so not sure it's history but looks highly probable.
  2. A couple of photos probably the way to get started. Hornet or gayromeo a better place to start. This site mostly older farangs 60 y.o +.
  3. Come In boy beerbar has bit the dust and now only a memory. Shuttered with a 'For Rent' sign Lots of good times there in years past. One of many Sunee Plaza boy beer bars to close.
  4. Younger Russian men made up the majority in years past but their currency and economy suck now and they aren't in Pattaya this high season. No loss for old farangs as the Russians were at the sauna strictly for other young Russians and certainly not for older farangs.
  5. Lots of big ones at boyzboyzboyz in Pattaya.
  6. Come In has been a ghost bar for a long time. Always dead. Agree, it was great for years but now it will await new ownership with boss of Double Shot taking over. Perhaps, the Phoenix will rise.
  7. Sometimes older farangs think their hearing is going, when it just lots of wax etc. in their ears. The kit does a good job and it's very inexpensive. If it's been years, see a doctor to do the flushing.
  8. Thanks for the update and the welcome. More bar owners/managers should post and promote their establishments.
  9. It doesn't rank high among most older farangs either.
  10. The scuttlebutt on Nice Boys is that the bar is relocating around the corner at the former site of Sunny Boys. Supposed to happen in January. Should be positive for Sunee Plaza.
  11. Just in time for high season, a brand new sleek beer bar called Prisma is now where Funny Boys used to be on the main drag of the Boyztown area. Just opposite Toy Boys and eye candy outside Toy Boys is a joy to behold. Prisma makes the other bars look old in comparison. Two of our party ordered margaritas but what was served was delicious but not a margarita. We didn't send them back and have to figure out how to reorder them next time. 200 Baht btw.
  12. Just put any poster you find annoying 'on ignore'. Only problem is when they are quoted, but still the way to go with some posters.

  14. Bangkokbois was one of my favorites, despite many flaws. Rice queen diary was another very enjoyable blog.
  15. Unless a boy is very green, they know farangs bullshit, make empty promises and flat out lie. Caught up in infatuation, some farangs promise the future, but when it wears off or the next 'dream' boy is found, rationalize and move on. While it would be nice to tell the boy you're a windbag bullshit artist, communications are usually difficult and most take the easy path. Years ago, I made a lot of promises after a week of pure pleasure with a perfect Thai guy, but decided against a long distance relationship, after returning to home country, without informing the boy. The boy pursued me and amazingly after a two year break, we resumed and almost a decade later are still 'hot to trot'. Well, at least I am. It was tricky getting back together and took several weeks and many phone calls. We were almost strangers after the long absence but found our groove once we got it on. Facebook helped a lot and I joined Facebook at his invitation.
  16. 'Brevity is the soul of wit'. Short and sweet.
  17. I can't follow this thread as I have two of the posters on 'ignore', so I will bow out. Ignorance is bliss, actually a truism. I'm spared from what I don't want to see and whom I don't want to read. Some here should try putting weewilliewillie on 'ignore'.
  18. I believe certain NGOs, especially Christian church sponsored ones hate our lifestyle and are out to destroy any place where sex occurs. In their mindset sex is evil and homosexual sex an abomination. We don't need to assist them on gay Thailand forums. I am at a disadvantage on this thread as I have the author on 'ignore' and am blissfully spared from his photos etc. Thanks Michael for the 'ignore ' feature'. My comments were in defense of Kokopelli and not in reference to the author, as I don't see what he posts. Kokopelli let his curiosity get the better of him.
  19. There are farangs whose mission is to close all bars, prohibit alcohol, sex, free speech etc. NGOs are on a mission and they can and do read gay forums to find out what's happening so they can direct Thai authorities to the places vividly described on forums. If you want Thailand to be 'churchy', where only the priests and pastors get any action, keep feeding the NGOs and the authorities and stay smug until the party's over. Kokopelli knows and I applaud him.
  20. I already addressed my remark calling it tacky and did it directly to Matt. A bad attempt at humor and I have atoned.
  21. the attacks on kokopelli were unwarranted and baseless. His only mistake was taking vessey off 'ignore'. Obviously, many here enjoy what vessey enjoys and that's fine and dandy. Calling kokopelli nasty names isn't.
  22. Power Boys next door to Nice Boys.
  23. Nice Boys has been around for many years. It features a mix of types. Boys can get frisky and playful on the stage. Tips work wonders here. The bar is for sale and has a large For Sale sign outside.
  24. It had been several months since my last visit to A-Bomb Boys gogo. Tonite there were about 15 masculine guys with several very handsome and all well built and in their twenties. A good alternative for Boyzboyzboyz lovers. No show. No tobacco smoking, beers 220 baht. Lots of eye contact from the boys, many with nice bulges in their briefs. Good crowd, good a/c. Very friendly manager has been at A-Bomb since the turn of the century and can answer your questions. Best after 9:30 pm
  25. Does anyone else get a beachlover vib from our prolific pollster?
