I've been to both places, Lisbon more. Nice to visit, wouldn't want to live there was my takeaway. I'm aware it's been on many people's places to retire list, bit don't know anyone personally that has. I speak the language and still couldn't see myself living there..... as I recall, not a lot of English speaking locals....can't imagine you being happy there. Any other options in Asia possible for you? I wrote about a Thai guy that worked on cruise ships that left to come live in Texas with me.....once he realized how exotic and popular he was outside of Thailand, he started fucking around. I told him , fly be free....I let him do his thing and let him go. Keep this in your mind.........

So your friend at 47 wouldn't be considered "old" and many still look good at that age, they have time to build a bond that keeps them together, albeit how faithful, no one knows. That's a few years back.....I'm going next week to bring some medicine to older people I know there. They've insisted I don't go because there's nothing on the shelves..... My one way ticket to Boston from HAV was $106 usd and I used Copa miles to go there on United from Mexico......we'll see how it is. Customs has also removed almost all limits on food and medicine that you can bring. There were weight and money limits before, now supposedly none, according to the Cuban aduana web page and what recent visitors in Mexico have told me.

These days, I'd bring someone I found on an app or mileroticos with me, so there's a sure thing at least. I do this in Sao Paulo when going to a place like Upgrade Club for example. One time there was a guy sitting on the floor, next to the urinal waiting for piss. I'd talk to him when I was in there, I told him I won't pee on him because I don't want him to get drunk 😆. Seemed like a nice guy, could be a lawyer or politician for all I know, but on subsequent visits, he'd ask who I brought or how many I brought, lol
