  1. @Michael seems like a lot of people in tourism still out of work
  2. Went to Lagoa last night, Tuesday. Were 8 boys and 7 clients....looked depressing, but as we say, it only takes one....I had three at my table and had a fun time. Tips to the staff are very much appreciated more than ever. I spent $28usd for my entry and drinks...a relatively cheap time and went home with one (I'm not a whore like Namazu that would've taken all three). If you plan on coming, remember it's winter and a little chilly and rainy at times. Streets are quiet and the uber drivers said there's not much traffic at any time of the day. My uber from downtown to lagoa was $1.22 usd .
  3. I don't have the writing or whoring skills of Namazu....it's an Asian thing, but I'll give it a shot lol I'll give a quick version of my observations. I arrived Friday...I normally would try to go Business class on United, it was available with plus points. But I thought, why use points if the service wasn't going to be there? No Polaris Lounge or amenities normal to Bizclass? I had 3 seats across in economy and another 25 around me empty....so that was good enough for me. I brought my own Polaris pillows before I even knew there were no pillows even in business, lol. Arriving in Sao Paulo....Not sure why the immigration officer thought I was Brazilian.....he insisted about 4 or 5 times to see my Brazilian documents ....I had a feeling he was flirting with me. He def was my type, If I wasn't so tired I would've given him my number. I already had plans to meet up with someone I knew from the start of the pandemic, so my first days were already occupied. Then I met with the brother of my ex bf and his new American bf that I will call his sugar daddy, lol Not much to add to that story except the obvious stereotypes. The bars (and Lagoa) must close by 10pm...so is kind of weird to be out in a semi lively street in Republica, to all of a sudden have everything shut down. Then everyone moves to the Carrefour Express supermarket across the street to buy beer and continue drinking (except Sunday). I went to Lagoa tonight , Sunday to see how it was. When I walked in Rodolfo and Marcos ( the guy that sells the clothes inside) were surprised to see me...or a gringo? I told them that it's hard to keep international whores at bay.....they asked where was Tomcal, lol. With the exchange rate, it's ridiculously cheap for just about anything, uber, drinks, food, programas. I met a guy that I'd seen before at Fragata, but never had been with. 150 reis at my apt and he was very happy...times are tough. After he left, I went to the street again and was waiting for someone that never showed up. I saw a black guy that said he was 24 but I new he was more like 34. He was hung, I could tell from from the bulge in his sweatpants. I asked how much, he said 50 reis...wtf , 10usd. We had fun, he did everything I asked, def worth 10usd.....but was a one time thing with him, I'm sure. I'm Glad I came...Still another week to go
  4. You know I asked the question in Gaythailand.....however, I believe that before then end of the year, they will allow tourists in without quarantine. Insurance, yes, like Brasil now. we're 5 months , more or less into this. People can't stop living/working....everyone isn't Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, or TotallyOz Time will tell, I bet by December, we will see things change....not because they are better....but because they must, for survival.
  5. Yes, you need covid coverage. They will write in your passport the exact number of days you can stay in Brasil, based on the covid coverage dates up to 90 days. Be prepared to show a return plane ticket as well. I use www.squaremouth.com or www.insuremytrip.com to buy travel insurance. Preference towards squaremouth, because if you have a problem with a claim, they have an ombudsman that steps in to help...happened to me before and things got straightened out within a week.
  6. Have you ever been in a taxi with me in BKK once the sun has gone down....lol
  7. Your memories of Brasil must be fading about the amazing sex ....good sex is a bad day there, lol Keep in mind locals don't pay what foreigners do....going rate, as I'm told is 100 brl in the sauna 150 in your room, maybe as high as 200. I follow Tomcals long held advice, don't pay more than the locals, they get annoyed at people coming throwing money around because the exchange rate is so good.....they don't have the luxury of USD's. I'm heading down tomorrow, In Cancun now...where I live, they instituted the dry law to help with covid Can you imagine me being in a dry law place even when I have enough stocked up?
  8. Thought you were going to say that , I watch pennies....I do, lol You should post this on Gay Thailand.....The gay scene isn't cheap there compared to Brasil, Mexico, Colombia
  9. That sounds like I might not be going , lol I'm heading to Brasil at the end of the week....I'll quarantine when I get there, not alone though
  10. Would you doubt this in Thailand
  11. It seems that Bolsonaro's karma is kicking in....
  12. I priced travel insurance for a possible Dec trip to BKK....1 month with 100k/250k was 67/92 usd with Covid coverage....
  13. Fun wise...Mexico is great. but quarantine, dry law imposed (good thing I plan ahead) , many places closed...only essential places allowed open on weekends, etc... Otherwise, they have a populist president like the USA and Brasil, so the virus is predicted to peak here in Oct., according to the experts (not the government). It's the Thai food and massage that I can't get here that's the same in Thailand
  14. Business reward tix that can be refunded...some of the flights not usually available on rewards Nothing much going on, I was just curious what others are thinking/planning
  15. I know no one really knows, but I've booked refundable tix to Bali and BKK for December. What's everyone's thought on what will happen? I checked travel insurance today and can get a month travel with 100k or 250k Covid coverage for 67/92 usd. I'm a US citizen residency in Mexico, if it matters.
  16. This gets the point across.....
  17. 117 is planning to open in August
  18. When I decided to move out of the USA, I considered Thailand, but the paperwork , restrictions and political uncertainty made me re-think even trying. I live as a permanent resident of Mexico and life has been relatively easy. A couple of more years I can apply for citizenship....
  19. each one of them knows...and don't care. they said, no nudes.....not shy guys at all. I'm not new here, nor uptight like you Is a 3 liter bottle, and he's quite small. That was the joke of the picture, lol
  20. I usually have a few people over to my house twice a week, keeps from going stir crazy .....these are just a few regular friends that like to hang out and play drinking games where everyone usually ends up naked. Keep in mind I liked Fragata, Meio Mundo, Manhattan Rio and guy next door types at 117 in Brasil. Bodybuilders are def not for me.....nor gold diggers.
  21. https://br.usembassy.gov/brazil-extends-entry-ban-to-july-29/ Argentina from the very start "closed" until Sept 1st.....it seemed a bit harsh at the moment, not so much in retrospect. Brasil is in worse shape than the USA....I wouldn't expect anything sooner, and if it is....why would you risk it, especially if you're in an "at risk" group? I booked Thailand and Indonesia for December, flights and hotels all refundable. Copa isn't flying ANYWHERE until Aug 7th...and that could be pushed out further
  22. Take it with a grain of salt.....he qualified his reply with "Plus I voted for Donald Trump will vote for him again"...... enough said.
  23. Video Call??
  24. "I fuck you" or "you fuck me" while pointing has worked for me
  25. what to look forward to : https://loyaltylobby.com/2020/06/06/thai-tourism-authority-draws-up-blueprint-for-tourism-revival-during-covid-times/?omhide=true
