If it's a single owner, individual property perhaps. But chains and well known hotels have standards that they have to adhere to. The Hilton Mexico city is notorious for not letting you bring anyone you pick up up to your room. I make sure the guy has an ID, and when he is questioned, I make them register him. Sometimes seems like a scandalous confrontation at the Front desk, but doesn't deter me from doing so. The Othon Palace in Rio was the only hotel that I couldn't get to back down....and that was in 1999.

For someone that wants to see Carnival, I say go the week-10 days before and watch the practices, I hate crowds. I feel the same for 2 days after Christmas until the first half of January in Rio......the 1st 3 weeks in Dec is heaven in Rio, as a consumer.

But NOT speaking Spanish will def be a handicap in Cuba....rarely will you find an English speaker. And if you do, they'll be your "best friend" for you to help his friends and family out of their everyday predicaments , lol

A sauna where clients go to look for "Garotos de programa" , sex workers. I've been to MDE but don't recall any saunas of that type like there are in Brazil, apart form the couple that had "Massage" guys that would do extra. Are there GP saunas in Colombia?? If you meet someone at the saunas, good chance you won't have a problem however, not guaranteed. I prefer to sleep alone.....so very rare I have someone stay the night. I always book rooms for 2 people.....better to have that option available so the hotel can't try to charge for someone you bring back to the room.

The good thing about staying longer is you don't have to feel obligated to do a marathon of sex and can take a day off on slow days at the sauna.

I went on opening night and a few times after.....no reason to return for me. Has nothing in common with Fragata except that it's a sauna. I think the massage guy was the only worker that I recognized there....very disorganized, too many levels. A pain to get to for the boys...... I like the "guy next door" type that Fragata used to have, Lagoa now attracts them.

But even then, she'd end up with a letter and a fine, but when you contest the fine, like I said ...there are no judges assigned to hear these cases and it stays in limbo....

I stayed in Holiday Inn express and booked a double occupancy didn't have problems, except one guy I brought robbed me after blowing Devil's breath in my face.....long story....that was awhile ago, not sure if they still allow guests, especially after that, lol

many restaurants automatically put 10% on the bill as service charge, very common. Thailand is inexpensive for many things, great hotels, dining, massage......but many go-go's and such expect so much more $ and many deliver mediocre sex, not all but the % of great sex is very low when compared to Brasil. No disrespect to the older readers, but thai boys like to get paid for doing nothing and are used to the older farang that pays them to cuddle and suck them off AND pay absurd money for long time, which is just them sleeping with you, smh....Brasillains are hot and sex machines, no comparison.
