Thats a good bit of advice. Also I would say dont rush things if you are not used to be a bottom. The top should ease his cock up very slowly and pause at intervals. This applies particulary the first few times.

Im intending to stay at the Ambiance starting Sunday. Ive stayed there before on several occasions and have found it a good choice apart from the noise factor, which affects all the BT hotels. This is a problem if you want to sleep before 3 am. I will see how it goes for two nights but maybe I will transfer to the Samsuck Guesthouse where I have also stayed and which is really peaceful late at night. The downside is returning there late at night with your boyfriend du jour from Sunee or BT. Motor bike taxi is the best option but many wont use them.

Im intending to stay at the Ambiance next week also. Going to telephone them from airport. Is the 400 reduction on a superior room normally 1290 when staying 2 nights. That would make it 690. Seems very cheap !

I retired from my long term job and draw a pension of about 2500 pds per month ie 125000 thai baht. To this I will shortly be adding the UK state pension. I supplement this by taking on short term employment contacts so I am well able to finance my three trips a year to Pattaya of 3 or 4 weeks duration. I have thought about locating to Thailand when I fully retire but have decided against it, as I concious that living there would be a totally different proposition. I love the gay scene in Pats but I am not particularly attracted to Thailand as a whole and I have met a few farangs who regret the move. The appreciation over the baht from 1 pnd = 70 baht to an average of 50 and Thai inflation has hurt those whose income is in the lower range. Medically Im covered by travel insurance for my trips but if I located permanently in Thailand I wouldnt have this protection and this should be a really important factor in anyone's decision to live in Thailand. No doubt a monthly income would be sufficient to live a very confortable life in Thailand.

I am versatile when it comes to anal sex although tending towards being bottom during my recent trips to Pattaya. Strangely taking a cock seems to be getting easier. Cleaning around the asshole is obviously important and I pleased when the boy spends a good amount of time in the shower and I do myself, as I very much enjoy being rimmed. However for me anal is not the be all and end all of gay sex. I also like prolonged kissing and nipple play, but not as much oral as I used indulge in.

Visiters to hotels. 18 and 19 year olds banned by som hotels
Travellerdave replied to Travellerdave's topic in Gay Thailand
It will be interesting to see if there are anymore hotels with this rule. Can all members post names if they come across others. I cant think why a hotel would have it. Presumably it would apply to all guests not just gay ones. -

I am in Pats soon. Not sure where to stay at the moment, but probably at the Ambiance for the first couple of nights to assess the noise situation. If too bad I will move to the Samsuck Guesthouse. At both places I would look out for such a notice at check in, but if there is one, what shall I do ?. I can hardly say "Whats this about 18 & 19 year olds?" "How much do I tip you to disregard it ?". If its enforced do I have to check boy's ID's not for underage but for 20+. I don't want a confrontation on entering with my boyfriend du jour at 1am. I wonder if this is some sort of scam by Reception staff. Probably not but TIT. -
This is him. He comes on GR quite frequently and has posted a phone number. Looks perhaps underage with the tooth braces but claims to be 18.

The Bell Travel bus is now very popular. If you just turn up at their desk you could have a long wait for a seat. Better to book online. The bus service mentioned by travelerjim stops at three places (South Pattaya Road for Boystown) on Sukumvit Road pattaya. From there you need to make your own way to your accomodation, which could be difficult if you have luggage. Also if your are not Familiar with Pattaya its difficult to know where to get off. The Bell Travel Option is the best bus option. If you are looking to economise sharing a taxi is possible. I have succesfully approached other passengers at the luggage carousel with that suggestion. Single men are likely to be heading to Pattaya.

The most luxurious gay hotel in Pattaya is the Baan Souy Resort. You can check it on their website and Tripadviser.

Ok Im back to the jock

Ive changed mine - or perhaps I should stick with the previous avatur ?. I love tight buttocks

Z909 yours is rather nice !. I know it was taken from your own picture of a boy on Dongtan Beach which I think should score extra points.

I would have to be really skint to have a wank in Pats, when other attractive options are available. I.e. Boys boys boys.
-
I have a fetish about thongs and the way they display buttocks. I my opinion far more sexy than loose split side shorts commonly worn by gogo boys. Years ago before I discovered Thailand I used to holiday on Gran Canaria at Playa del Ingles where there is a famous gay beach. The guys were generally nude but I often wore thongs and my favorite was a black leather number. I dont have the body for it now and anyway the dress code at Dongtan would not allow.

Yes jet lag seems to affect me most on my return home. For weeks I wake up at 3 am and am very sleepy in the early evening.
-
Yes you are right. There are notices forbidding paid sex but it goes on at a low key, with younger boys whispering "500" occasionally. Some go looking for a boyfriend hooking up by the pool.

Whilst I could afford the extra for business or premium economy classes I cannot justify the substantial extra cost. I can handle 13 hours of mild discomfort (UK - Thailand). I always select a centre aisle seat where the chance of a vacant adjoining seat is greater. Mind you I always give an ironic sigh when at the conclusion of the flight I hear the announcement "We hope you have enjoyed the flight and hope to see you again". Enjoy 12 hours in economy ? You cannot be serious !. To enjoy pleasure you must experience pain it is often said. Well it certainly is pleasurable arriving at my hotel, having a shower, pouring a drink and stretching out in a large comfortable bed.

I will be visiting in Sptember. Offed a couple of times in March. Any boys dancing in thongs ?. I like that.

Very mixed reviews on Tripadviser for Welcome Plaza, although its location is ideal. For a few years I have only stayed at predominately gay hotels in Pattaya and I think this one is not in that category. Recently I stayed at the Sansuck Guesthouse which is 100% gay.

Thanks Guys Yes it wasn't a dedicated Karaoke Bar rather a bar which seems to encourage late night singing. I still remember a rendition at 1000 decibels of My Way at about 3.30 am last time I was at the Ambience. Don't get me wrong I liked the place and I didn't see any females, although it is a bit of a maze upstairs!. Don't know where I read about it going hetro - not Tripadvisor. I will no doubt stay in BT - it is after all the prime gay atea.

Im in Pats for several weeks in September and am thinking where to stay. Up to 2013 I stayed a few times at the Ambience. The rooms were fine and of course the situation in BoysTown was ideal. However the last couple of times it proved to be very noisy after 1 am bar closure time and I started staying elsewhere. I know that rooms can vary depending on their position so I am wondering about giving it another try probably by emailing asking if they can offer me one of their quieter rooms. Then there is the possibility of the Copa, which might be quieter as it is away from that Karaoke bar at the exit from BT which is responsible for a lot of the post 1 am noise. Any recent experience of these two hotels ?. I need good wifi. I read somewhere that the Ambiance is not predominately gay which for me is not a recommendation.

Is it allowed to mention Thai guys by name here?
Travellerdave replied to abidismaili's topic in Gay Thailand
Good that Birth Dates are shown Western as well. I could never remember the Buddhist year number when checking the boy's card and was always worried that the hotel reception had checked the boy's age. -
Moses Ive walked Sansuk to BT and Jomtien from there quite often when Ive not got a scooter or just wanted to. Maybe 15 mins. Sorry about the spelling - not my strong point
