  1. I stayed there a couple of times several years ago. No problems but due to the decline of Sunee I have not thought about returning. I remember the rooms were accessed by a flight of narrow steep stairs. My last stay in Sunee was at the Colonial Bar. Any reports on either of these accommodations ?.
  2. I like Oscars in the early evening viewing BT getting ready for the nights activities with boys arriving for work. They have a selection of items upstairs Jocks etc if you into that sort of thing.
  3. Yes variables - although I usually favour long term. If it's a first time the boy leaves on his own. I like to tidy the room. Wrap any used condoms in tissue and place in the bin. Put towels neatly in the bathroom on the rails. If I've worn my jocks put away. Rinse my mouth with listerine. Have a thorough shower. Then relax for a while in contemplation and deciding my next move. If I have enjoyed the boy, store his phone number with a note of his name and brief description.
  4. Yes the prices quoted by z909 are a good indication. I too prefer twinks. I was in Pattaya about two months ago and mostly had boys long time I.e. Overnight. If they asked in the gogo how much I would pay LT I would reply "1500 but more if I like you". I went to 2000 for a particularly attractive boy who was good in bed. Of course you have to budget for the off fee and you will have drinks to buy. If it's early maybe you will take him somewhere else before going to your room. It all adds up !.
  5. I have been visiting Thailand now for some 15 years and have very much enjoyed about 30 visits mainly to Pattaya. Before I spent my holidays in Playa des Ingles on Gran Canaria, Spain. There are few rent boys there but I had plenty of sex especially from encounters on the gay section of the huge beach. The weather is great there throughout the year, it's not expensive and is only 4 hours by air from my home. Why do I go to Pattaya then ?. In two words - Thai Boys. If they were not available and inexpensive I would cease my visits. In my opinion Pats has detiorated in the 15 years as regards gay sex tourists like me, and it's much more expensive for Brits in particular ( Now 43 baht = 1 pound Ugh !).
  6. There are a few both gay and hetro who enjoy mild exhibitionism and maybe I am one, but kissing or fondling my boyfriend in a public space like a hotel dining room is something I would not do. However it would be OK for example on the Dongtan gay beach or maybe in a bar in BT Pattaya. It's easy to loose self control whilst on holiday and under the influence of drink. Yes it would be a Beamon leap to extend a public kiss to fucking.
  7. Abang - you would wear these at the Dongtan Beach ?. I would be too shy but ok at the Samsuck.
  8. I go along with Worldatlarge - the Banyan Tree is superb by far the best experience I have had with Thai hotels. Fantastic panorama from the upper floor Windows and from the swimming pool.
  9. Following on from my earlier post about me alternating between being alternatively penny wise and pound foolish I am certainly the latter whilst in Pattaya gogo's. Like Vessey for me it's a 100 baht tip for sitting with me but 200 or more if I get the boys cock in my hand and/or my tongue in his mouth. There's been tip inflation over the years. I remember in Krazy Dragon 20 baht was the standard a good few years ago. You can certainly burn through a lot of baht touring the gogo's dispensing tips and buying boy drinks. Including a boy in my bed overnight a spend of 5000 to 6000 between 9pm to 10am is a realistic.
  10. British members of this forum will know the saying "Penny Wise but Pound Foolish" which sums me up when I am in Pattaya. On arrival at the airport I take the public bus at a penny wise price of 120 baht followed by the same for a motor bike to BT at 100. I also try a bit of haggling to make a small saving on accomadation. However later in the evening Pound Foolish takes over in the gogo's when I spray boy drinks and tips around, very quickly cancelling the saving made earlier. During my stay both expenditure modes vie for superiority but there is no doubt which one always wins.
  11. Of course you would be fine wearing thongs etc at the Samsuck. Like you I have enjoyed wearing mine there both during the day, when I have stayed there, and also when it was open to the public in the afternoon and evening. However I have never plucked up courage on the Dongtan Gay Beach, where brief speedos are as far as I have gone. Male Dress in the public areas of Pattaya is relatively modest compared with in gay oriented resorts in Europe and a good proportion of farangs are very scruffily dressed. I would advise caution so as not to be held up to ridicule - but there again it's your holiday and your choice.
  12. Higher grade hotels in Pattaya usually have large beds which can accomadate more than two. There is plenty of space for the guest and his boy to have their own space. On the few occasions when I have two boys I have slept in the middle, although I don't find these encounters offer good value for money.
  13. I mostly stay at the Ambiance these days and on balance I like the place, but I concur with the other posts regarding it's confusing layout. Years ago when Pattaya was just developing there must have been three shop houses, which have been joined by knocking openings to form, not very successfully, one unit. Now after checking in I fix the position of my room in relation to objects like a large vase, elevator or stairs. I want to avoid the embarrassment of a few years ago when returning with my boyfriend du jour it took me about five minutes of wandering about to locate it. On another occasion I contacted a boy on GR and got a call from reception to say he had arrived. I told them to send him up, but after several minutes he hadn't arrived so I had to go in search of him. He had been wandering about the same as I did. In July I think they had improved the signage as no doubt other guests had had the same experience. But in conclusion I would recommend the Ambiance as an ideal place to stay for the gay sex tourist, particularly newbies to Pattaya.
  14. Biguyby It's good to here of a new gogo opening - shows that the gay scene in Pats is still attracting investment. Hopefully when I arrive in October there will be a good selection of twinks in 360 deg. Mind you I found Cupidol a happy hunting ground in July. Perhaps someone will post a report. Drooling over white undies ?. Looks like you favour the boys in black !.
  15. Vinapu - it was a couple of years ago. I had arrived back from Vietnam that evening and had partially unpacked but then rushed out to catch the show at Bbb without locking the safe. Easily done !.
  16. Regarding honesty I have never really had a problem with hotel thefts despite maybe 30+ visits to LOS in the last 15 years. Mind you the only things I have with me of significant value are my iPad, iPhone, passport money and various cards and those go in the room safe when I've got company. Once I thought I had been robbed by a boy I had offed. I showered first and he joined me in bed after showering. During the night i got up for a piss and noticed that the safe door was open. At the Ambience the safe is near the bathroom door not on view from the bed. I glanced in and thought that there was some US dollars missing (I had been to Vietnam), and I assumed he took the opportunity to help himself. I got back into bed but did not wake him but I couldn't sleep thinking how I would confront him in the morning. In the morning I took all the cash (dollars, baht and pounds) into the bathroom and saw that the missing dollars were sandwiched between pounds. You have to be very carefull before accusing anyone of theft.
  17. Vinapu - we all know the difficulty of establishing the age or honesty of Thai boys especially if one has had a few drinks. Years ago I used to stay at the Don Plaza in Sunee which supposedly had a 24 hour reception but frequently he was either not there or asleep.
  18. Coming back at 3 am with a boy in tow, you find the guy behind reception fast asleep. You feel uneasy about the lack of reassurance provided by the vetting of his ID card. Do you wake the guy up or just proceed to your room ?.
  19. I don't think that Pattaya is in any danger of becoming a family orientated resort. I've been going to Pats now for nearly 15 years. I've noticed the emergance and growth of tour groups - Chinese, Indian and up to recently Russian. These consist mainly of hetro couples with very few children. Male sex tourists, hetro and gay, seem to be a much smaller proportion of the total visitors. I'm afraid Sunee will eventually expire because as the number of bars declines it's becoming less of a market for purchasing entertainment, drink and sex, and therefore less of a magnet. There will be two gay areas - Boystown and Jomtien, catering for what seems to be a declining market. During my early Thai visits Sunee was my preferred location for drinking, eating, and boys, whereas in July my bed companions came from Boystown or via GR. A small but growing number of men are coming for ladyboys who are seen in increasing numbers.
  20. I always visit the Samsuck during my Pattaya trips and I did that three times in July. As has been mentioned the best time to go is in the early evening if you are looking for action say from 5 to 8 pm and also the number of customers or Thai boys varies a lot, although of course there are fewer of both in low season. I enjoyed my visits more than those I made to Babylon in Bkk. The action consists of wandering around the two floors of of the darkened cruising building. Most guys have a towel draped round their waists, but Several like to be naked and I have taken to wearing a g-string or thong. The Thai boys take the most hits but with luck you may get one to enter a cubicle with you.
  21. Stay in a gay oriented hotel especially if, like me, you bring back twinks. Nasty comments in non-gay places can come from drunken groups of men and their girlfriends in the lobby or lift. In hotels like the Ambiance around midnight there are likely to be other tourists arriving with boys who hand in their IDs . This is important to avoid under age and for security. In January I stayed at the Colonial in Sunee for a few days and I missed the reception ID check.
  22. In Thailand it's "Money Number 1" . Everything is available at a price including unprotected oral/anal gay sex. During my first visits to Pattaya 14 years ago I indulged in both, but now unprotected anal is out. I have been lucky.
  23. Situated between Pattaya and Jomtien - there is a website. Discussed in this forum a number of times. .
  24. Well for a start there is kissing and kissing. I rarely find a long time off boy unwilling to kiss but some are more enthusiastic than others. I like deep tongue kissing over an extended period and if the boy performs it well he gets merit points. I am versatile and if the boy has a slim and very hard cock and knows how to use it more merit points are added, also if he rims me.
  25. I have been told that I pay too much. A while ago, two years I think, I took a boy to the beach and happened to sit close to a farang also with his Thai boyfriend. We got into conversation during which he asked me how much I was paying and declared that 2000 was too much. I pointed out that my boy (a very cute twink) had only been with me 3 days and that I would put the remuneration on a different basis if I was like him, a long term resident with a steady boyfriend. I did in fact cut the 2000 down during my second week with him, but that was compensated by gifts (clothes and earrings) I bought for him. This must happen a lot i.e. Take a boy from a gogo or GR who you find attractive and who performs well in bed so you keep more than a few nights. You then conduct a secondary negotiation on becoming his daddy.
