Nothing may make overweght American look good. First picture "typical American tourist in Thailand" in Google:
-
It is just result of their weak English + compensation of uncertainty. Than shorter is sentence, then it sounds more rude, but at the same time than it is shorter, then less chance to make mistake in English Also Russian language sounds quite harsh.
-
Yeah, a lot of Russians and Ukrainians are there, some even filled application to work in Siamroads Unfortunately, only Thai may work in tourism sector as guides by Thai law.
-
That directly question may be offending for Thai. "Do you expect some financial compensation?" sounds more acceptable.

Nadam (Adam) spa. 25-40 USD massage (depends on massage type) + min 20 USD tips (paying at time of checkout, in room you just fill number in bill). You can't off, only onsite "games". If you are below 60yo and aren't fat, then I advise to visit labyrinths and pool at first, you may get everything for free there - a lot of willing guys. Peak hours are 3pm - 6pm, by weekends - from noon. Gogo not exists in VN, even host bars don't exist. Gay bars and clubs in VN are meeting places. HeeSay is most populated app. Typically, after landing in HCMC, at first 24 hours I receive about 100-120 offers of "massage". Highly advise to discuss service clearly in advance, because you may get exactly massage and nothing besides massage. Prices vary and are negotiable, videocall is a must since HeeSay is known for fake photos in profiles.

Very interesting company. I like them - they are more than gay friendly and have gay crews. I saw such crews at time of my flights and flights were very funny. No-no. Flight. Flights are cheap. Depends on how much cities you want to visit. Da Nang itself 3 days for "must see" sites: day for city tour, day for hot springs, day for Ba Na hills and sky bridge I highly advise to visit Hoi An (just 45-60 min from Da Nang by car) for 1 night (at least) for city tour and to see water show at evening Also highly advise to spend at least 1 day in Hue - old capital of VN for city tour, 70-90 minutes by car from Da Nang. Must see site is Citadel and Royal palace inside of Citadel. My typical schedule for Central VN is: 2-3 nights in Hoi An, 4-5 nights in Da Nang (including at least 1 "lazy day" on the beach), 1-2 nights in Hue Speaking about Saigon, weekend in Saigon is great, but weekdays are quite boring by evenings: most gay places are closed during Mon-Wed. I prefer to spend Mon-Wed in Vung Tau (45 min by car from Saigon) on the beach. While you are in Saigon, to spend day in Mekong delta will be great idea besides city tours. You also may visit Mekong delta by boat on the way to Vung Tau. Don't miss Nadam (Adam) spa in Saigon: a lot of willing guys (mostly students) by weekends at day time. Be warned: Saigon is the same hot as Bangkok, now there is +40C. Da Nang, Hoi An and Hue are cooler, especially in the hills.

Da Nang has 2 bars. Second one is Mellow Joy. It was empty at time of my visit at next day after Tet.
-
Sorry, Siamroads has no guides in Manila currently.
-
There are no negative comments about guides from Siamroads. Some people are just not happy with my political views
-
It isn't company. It is coop of gay guides from 7 countries. Yes, Siamroads.com
-
You may stay in regular hotel and book table in one of rooftop bars instead.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that, in a three-way contest between Biden, Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., 46% of Likely U.S. Voters would choose Trump, 36% would vote for Biden and nine percent (9%) would vote for Kennedy. In April, Trump led by 6 points, 44% to 38% for Biden, with RFK Jr. at 10%. Four percent (4%) now say they’d vote for some other candidate, and another four percent (4%) are undecided. https://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/biden_administration/election_2024_trump_now_10_over_biden

Unless changes are recent, it is wrong map: "Beach road and 2nd road loop" (red) is included to "From Jomtien and Pattaya" route (blue) and to "Naklua route" (purple).

https://www.gallup.com/analytics/355787/gallup-rating-world-leaders-report.aspx For to get full report you should fill form. Basic numbers are on that page, including number about Russia (of course).
-
You should check Gallup report published today: disapproval of Russia and Russians lowered 4% in world in 2023 despite all Western propaganda, while disapproval of US and Americans raised on 3%.
-
Oh, now I know why Thai govt just extended initial visa-free time for Russians from 30 days to 60 days from May 1st. They just do not like VP hospital. P.S. Novosti Phuketa is just a Russian translation of Phuket News leading by AU men, who moved to Phuket in 2000.

Line Booking is more challenging and more comical than I expected...
Moses replied to Daddy415's topic in Gay Thailand
Guys, OP just spoke with AI. There are few AI for Line platform, most known are Neru, Susi and Rev. When AI isn't trained enough, then such "chats" appears. -
It is on Kampa, installed more than 20 years ago. It for sure already was there in 2007. The sculptures' penises move up and down. https://www.museumkampa.cz/

Every Thai has at least three names. 1. The sacred name they receive from the monk immediately after birth during the first blessing. Only the parents and the person himself know this name. Thais believe that knowledge of this name can give control over a person, call evil spirits to him, etc. 2. Official first and last name used in documents and identification cards. That's right - any Thai can change his name whenever he wants. One of my Thai friends has done this 3 times already “for good luck”. The process is very simple - visit the state office and submit an application. I don’t remember the exact cost, but it is affordable - something around 1000-3000 baht, takes 3-7 days. 3. Short names for everyday use. It is not a "nickname" because a nickname may be given by the community or friends and the name is chosen by them themselves, usually after consulting an astrologer or monk, and very often they visit the temple and ask the monks for blessings to use it. Parents also use this name to call their children, so it's definitely not a nickname. Parents of small children choose their first short name themselves. Well, besides this, naturally many Thais have nicknames from friends or community.

Fewer British tourists and expats are coming to Thailand
Moses replied to reader's topic in The Beer Bar
Are you still following me around the forum and counting commas? Good luck to you in your difficult task. You must be terribly angry that I speak your language much better than you speak mine? -

“I would like to see incorporated” the fact that in 2011, at the peak of visits from the UK with an “exaggerated” number of 900K, there were more than 1.1 million visits by Russians without visas. So the words that “a visa is no longer required” in relation to Russian citizens are simply profanity. -

"No longer"? Does author knows words "fact checking"? Bilateral agreement btw Russia and Thailand has been signed in 2005... -
Just install Bolt or Grab and you will be on safe side of taxi in VN
