Any businessman will tell you: there is nothing worse than a disappointed former brand loyalist. The biggest haters are former supporters. By the way, this registered Republican recently donated to the Biden campaign.

It doesn't work. Shooting follows whole US history. 2 Kennedy, Roosevelt, Reagan... Dems whole US history have this argument, but Reps still win elections. Bright image of "strong heroic president" will work much more fast. And to oppose that image Dems have just weak and old Biden.
-
Reps will use this "heroic picture" in all advertising and promotions from now, and Dems have nothing to shout out this whole orchestra.

Spanish ABC summarizing event very well: "The bullet was intended for Trump but hit Biden." translated by Google: "Trump is a compulsive liar, a criminal and a clever populist, but none of his flaws can justify someone making an attempt on his life. In fact, when violence is expressed in such a perfect way, beyond the obvious censorship, we must ask ourselves what made it possible for us to get here. Trump has been rightly criticized many times, but a context of phobia and contempt has also been cultivated that far exceeds legitimate political criticism. We live in a permanent alert against the extreme right, but we have forgotten that hate has no ideology and is always the same. Trump is a politician full of flaws, but he also has some virtues. Among them is knowing how to capitalize on any advantage and yesterday's execrable attack gave him a circumstance in which he was able to exploit his personality like never before. "Fight, fight," he told his audience with his arm raised and his face bloody. Give yourself a few hours and we'll see that sequence printed on mugs, memes and t-shirts. It is impossible for Democrats to win in that image. The bullet was intended for Trump but hit Biden."

I don't think it is forged - Trump was in moving when shoot happened. Too much risky to forge shoot to ear from such distance, very hard to synchronize - just slight mistake and bullet will be in the head.

Major Differences Between Thai Legal System and Western Law
Moses replied to reader's topic in The Beer Bar
I know, courts are bound by own decisions only in countries with common law system. P.S. edited because initial reply was written after wrong reading. -
"Real truth" doesn't exists. Even if you will revive and interrogate assassin, you will get just "assassin's truth", and will not have idea was he manipulated or he acted just by himself. We see "scene" and don't know what is going behind curtains and under cover... That why after any accident always exist a lot of conspiracy theories.

Major Differences Between Thai Legal System and Western Law
Moses replied to reader's topic in The Beer Bar
Wrong. ALL (!!!) EU countries use the same civil law system as in Thailand. Exclusions: UK, Ireland, Cyprus use common law. Andorra, Guernsey and Jersey islands have customary law systems. Wrong. Most of European countries have NO juries, and use panel of judges. NO ONE European country besides UK, Ireland and Cyprus use juries in civil cases, some use in criminal cases. Wrong. In most European countries defamation is a crime: Germany, Spain, France and so on... A report by the Vienna-based International Press Institute (IPI), published in January 2015, found that just over half of EU Member States have convicted journalists of criminal defamation in the last five years. Well, as we already know, "western common law systems" exists only in UK, Ireland and Cyprus in Europe. But in most civil law systems lower courts are bound by decisions of higher courts as well. Wrong. Only in UK, Ireland and Cyprus law systems rely on case law. Rest of Europe don't rely on precedents. -
Well, Trump will get additional 2-3% as victim and hero.

President Joe Biden canceled an early evening meeting with the German chancellor Olaf Scholz at the last minute because he had to go to bed. https://www.businessinsider.com/biden-missed-meeting-german-chancellor-to-go-to-bed-wsj-2024-7

Why are you so stingy with numbers? It makes sense to write "billions", it sounds louder. And these people accuse me of propaganda??? But, you know what makes me happy? You have no argument against the fact: Putin said he prefers Biden. Therefore, you immediately try to shift attention from the problem "Biden stumbles, Trump lies" to Russia.
-
My evidence? It is NewYork Times and Reuters evidence So, when you vote for Biden, you fulfill Putin's wish
-
Don't tell me what to do and I won't tell you where to go...
-
It is clearly stated by NewYork Times - Putin wants Biden - Biden is predictable.
-
Open with caution! Shock-content!!!
-
So many words... But Putin prefers Biden... surprise So, remember: if you are voting for Biden - you are voting for Putin.

6 Why not punish the parties that betrayed the interests of the country, putting party interests above national ones, and vote for one of the independents? Why not punish the party that pushes through a disabled person, and punish the party that pushes through a neo-fascist?

But OK. Let's talk about Russia. And Biden. “As a result of these unprecedented sanctions, the ruble almost is immediately reduced to rubble,” President Joe Biden said in Poland in the middle of March 2022. "Biden administration officials have repeatedly pointed to the deteriorating currency as a sign of the swift and devastating impact of Western sanctions, which included a coordinated effort to cut off Russia’s access to its war chest of foreign reserves." https://www.politico.com/news/2022/03/31/ruble-recovery-russia-biden-sanctions-00021850 Barely a month later, the ruble has staged a dramatic recovery — putting pressure on the Biden administration and its allies to deploy even tougher measures to undercut the Kremlin’s ability to finance the war. Also March 2022. "Ruble is still strong because Russia sales oil" said them and imposed oil sanctions in the middle of autumn 2022. Smart decision. After one year of oil sanctions Bloomberg wrote in December 2023: "Moscow’s monthly income from oil exports is greater now than before the invasion of Ukraine, highlighting the failure of measures to curb its war chest" https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2023-12-06/oil-prices-how-russia-punched-an-11-billion-hole-in-west-s-sanctions-regime And now, after more than 2 years of sanctions, 14 packs of sanctions have been imposed. GDP of Russia grew 5.6% in first half of 2024, Russian ruble was 84.75 in the February 2022 before conflict started, and today it is 87,74. And on the top of this cake is Putin's opinion on result of election 2024: Putin says he prefers Joe Biden over Donald Trump in the White House. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/02/15/world/europe/putin-biden-trump-us-election.html

and "Biden stumbles", correct exactly that I wrote: The only “Putin” relevant to this discussion, according to Biden, is the president of Ukraine. Are you again, having no facts to support the topic, trying to throw the discussion off course?

Is this thread about Putin and Russia?

To me? Nothing. I am not American. My position has been clearly stated for a long time: the United States is a victim of political polarization and the interests of political clans. Look at this subforum - none of the participants have any real arguments in favor of their candidate and everyone is simply posting propaganda against a candidate from the opposite “camp”. One candidate, being in Cambodia, believes that he is in Colombia, shakes hands with ghosts that no one but him can see, believes that his vice president's name is Donald Trump, and the president of Ukraine is Putin. The second is an unsympathetic clown with authoritarian habits from a human point of view, and Project 2025 is a document that exists despite almost all amendments to the American Constitution. So, in my opinion, the situation is this: no matter who wins out of these two, America will lose either way, the clan gerontocrats will win. But when I voiced this for the first time 2 years ago, when I said that nation needed a plan B, otherwise everyone would end up quoting Shakespeare with his “a plague on both your houses,” both “camps” attacked me. Therefore, it gives me pleasure now to periodically “throw guano on the fan.”

Yes Yes. Everyone avoided him because they were afraid he would call someone else "President Putin" or "Vice President Donald Trump." Biden's every public appearance now looks like a national shame.
-
Well, he had weak legs, not brains.
